Is anyone using location based option for FingerSecurity app? - Xiaomi Mi MIX Questions & Answers

Hi All,
Does anyone use Fingersecurity by Rick Clephas? Specifically the location based option?
I generally keep my phone unlocked and keep the important/personal apps locked with Fingersecurity. I use the (paid) location based option to disable security when I'm connected
to my home wifi.
It worked great with my note 4, but the location option isn't working with the MIX.
Can anyone else confirm (or is it working for you?)

[Q] Google Location Settings

Hello people,
in the latest Android versions the settings were made much more "simple". So we have just one toggle to change if all google-apps will have access to the GPS signal.
In my case, I´d like to disable it, except for Maps and Android-Device-Manager. But that´s not possible anymore! Because by switching this single toggle, you will enable GPS access also to PlayStore (-Services), G+, Now, Hangouts and much more datasucking applications.
But: As you can see in Maps, or in your location settings (last apps wich used your location), it still works by triangulate your GSM signal.
So, it seems that it doesn´t mind whatever you setup on the device.
What have you done? Don´t you mind about all these Applications, reading all your data and current locations?
Do you use any Apps which deactivate this behavior?

Tasker/automateit?

Hi guys. This is my first nexus and I am loving it. I'm also loving lollipop and it's features.
However, one feature I've hated since I got the n6 is the fact that, even though I've rooted and unlocked the bl, that I can't get Tasker or Automateit to turn the phone GPS from "battery saving" to "high accuracy" when I launch Google maps.
I have gone into "Security - Apps with usage access" and authorized Automateit but Tasker never shows up in there. I have also downloaded "Secure Settings" from the play store but I admit I have never used it before so I'm not sure if I need to do something specific with it.
All I know is that when I was using any other OS up as far as kitkat, all I needed to do was have root and grant root access to Automateit and it would take care of switching on and off the GPS when I launched or stopped Google maps.
Can anyone please help me figure this one out?

Secure settings works. Once you enable the secure settings helper in the app you just use the plugin interface from tasker to toggle GPS.
Assuming you allowed root access to AutomateIt, you can configure a rule that uses the Set GPS State Action.
You might need to reboot your phone after that in order for the action to work properly.
Ok.... So here's something weird. Although I'd imported my rules into Automateit, they didn't work. I also could just not get Tasker to work no matter what.
But I uninstalled Tasker and secure settings, and uninstalled automateit. Then I restarted the phone, reinstalled automateit and manually created the GPS rules again from scratch instead of importing them and now it works perfectly!
I've never really liked Tasker, probably because I couldn't figure it out which is nobody's fault but my own, and I gravitated towards automateit but I thankfully got this issue sorted.
Thanks for the help guys

Currently working mock location modules?

What are the currently working mock/fake GPS location modules for xposed?
Advanced Virtual Location used to work flawlessly under Oreo, it is broken now under Pie and later. (If someone has it working in 9.0, let me know how).
What are the other GPS spoofing modules that are currently working for 9.0 and above?

For me non of the gps spoofing modules worked. My real location was always revealed but I found a better way.
I use this old module (surprisingly it's the only one that still works on Android 10) to hide mock locations from apps that don't work when location spoofing is enabled.

And run this app to fake my location. No rubber banding, location stays pinpointed.

Emulate your GPS position. Change your phone's GPS coordinates.

HHope this helps.
I've long been using this one that I'm quite happy with: https://repo.xposed.info/module/com.vivek.xposedpokemon
Both fake GPS and compass work fine.
It's got ads though.
I've been using the Smali patcher method to spoof PokemonGO. Works perfectly , no Xposed needed, just makes a Magisk module that tricks your phone into thinking that your mock location is your actual location.
One question, I use a delivery app that now asks you to locate yourself at different points to be able to activate, which Aceves is complicated. There is a method to simulate the location but without the

Any other solid solution?
An app of mine still detects it and prevents use.

I have it working using the Magisk Mock Location module on a unlocked bootloader/rooted Samsung S5 running CrDroid/Android 10.
That module enables mock location without apps being able to detect it's enabled and some of the apps I use are pretty hardcore about detecting GPS tampering.
Then I use Fake GPS Location – GPS JoyStick app to set location or route.
Here is the full guide I used: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-fake-location-android-gps-spoofing/
It's working but A-GPS data is not carried through fully.. yet to find an app that really cares about that. It will cause some apps to complain that your GPS Location is not accurate enough, but that's because of the missing A-GPS data.
Still playing with it and looking for a fix for the A-GPS data but it does work at least.
I'll post more if I find a fix for the A-GPS

Customize AA Launcher problem?

I recently discovered that AA no longer allows me to re-organize my app order. The apps are all there, but there is no way to re-organize them. Has anybody else encountered this issue?
For the record, it use to be that there were three lines that allowed one to pick up and move the apps within the AA Customize Launcher setting, which allowed one to drag-and-drop to the position desired (e.g. putting Waze at the top of the launcher so it was the first app encountered on the head-unit so no scrolling would be required).
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
B.D.

Yes, it is a limitation of Android Auto...
Some months ago I was a beta tester of Google play services and in Android Auto was possible to reorganize the app order.
But now I'm not a beta tester and there is only an option to select the apps you want to use in Android Auto.
This is my experience, maybe it will be useful for you

Question Ideal Google Feature config

Greetings
I am currently trying to get as many Pixel features as I can on my Pixel 7 (Germany).
ITs currently rooted with Pixelify installed - this activates Google Phone functions like Wait for me but DISABLES Google Photos stuff like magic eraser as well as the google assistant voice typing (greyed out and "Assistant isnt available" message)
Anyone knows a way to use basically all features simultaneously ? Can I somehow "force" all features to be enabled with another module ?
Thanks
Hello,
you may want to watch this thread: https://github.com/jacopotediosi/GoogleDialerMod/issues/51
It's possible to activate more features for the Google apps, but it's being researched
