Hi, Everyone!
This morning I discovered Google Assistant alive and well on my Nexus 5 (6.0.1 / security patch level October 5, 2016 / build number M4B30Z / kernel version 3.4.0-gcf10b7e / stock - no root). I just held down the home button, and its initial screens popped up.
Google Assistant also went live today on my wife's Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (stock Sprint version - also running Marshmallow). Both these phones now join our Google Home in being Google assisted. Nice!
All I need now is for it to start working on my Nexus 9 and Nexus Player.

Hi,
since one month i have a Xiaomi Redmi 4X with Android 7.1.2
My headunit is a Kenwood DDX9716BTS.
In general AA works fine. I'm just getting no notifications, for example from WhatsApp.
Also i get in the "Home Screen" (the Button in the middle) no info when i'm navigating.
I gave all apps the authorization's they wanted.
My old mobile was a Vernee Thor with Android 6, and it worked with the notifcations.
Is this a well know problem, or has it something to do with my setup?

hi i want to know weather i can get google's call screen feature on my nokia 7 plus running android pie, without root or unlocking boot loader
As far as I know, this is only working for Google Pixel Now!
My friend just upgraded from a Galaxy S3 to an S10. She is visually impaired and needs the voice assistant to read the screen to her sometimes. The problem is that she can't really navigate using the "Double-tap" that automatically comes on when she turns on the voice assistant.
I was wondering if there is an app to read the screen, but not have the double-tap?
Thanks

Security patch: November 1, 2019
I have the UK model of this, running MIUI 12.0.3 with security patch 2020-07-01 (as it came from factory).
So I decided to have a quick mess about with the phone and eventually decided to do a factory reset.
Once back in, I noticed the following:
- Google app drawer is missing a few apps
- 'More app' drawer is missing an app (now 5 not the 6 - can't remember which)
- Completely missing the Games drawer
Other missing apps include:
- Mi Store
- Mi Community
- Opera browser
I am not particularly fussed, but more intrigued as I thought it'll reset back to the state I'd originally received it in from Xiaomi.
Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed?
I assume I could just perform an update, but would just like to know why this has happened and as mentioned above, I was expecting it to reset back to its original state?
What kind of bugs have you all been experiencing? The only thing I've noticed so far was that when you swipe down the notification panel, the toggles aren't there sometimes (for me)
I was wondering if i need to go back to stock 3.1 from UI 4 beta and if i use home csc , will my all data remains safe? I don't want to clean wipe. TIA.
A few things aren't working for me:
OfferUp will not log in: i think this is a Android 12 thing. OfferUp isn't ready for Android 12. If you really depend on this app then i don't recommend upgrading.
DJI Fly App will not start, again I don't think DJI is ready for Android 12. So if you use your phone with the RC then i wouldn't recommend upgrading.
I factory reset my s21 ultra (snapdragon) while on One UI 4.0 beta and now I don't see Good Guardian on the Samsung Galaxy store. I downloaded via Google search and side loaded it but it doesn't seem to work.
