Hey guys ive been having some serious trouble with my HTC ONE m7.
-Rooted - yes
- Unlocked - yes
Okay so i downloaded cyanogenmod Lollipop (Recent one) and i tried to flash it, it failed to mount it kept saying something like mount : failed to mount /dev/block/platform bla bla bla and before this i wiped data and thought it would go all good although i dont have a copy of my backup on my phone but i do on my pc.
I am currently running TWRP v2.6.3.0 and i want to try updating it but is there a way to install the recent one without having OS installed? (Im a beginner sorry )
and whenver i go on "Mount" and check system i go back to install ROM it fails then i go back to "Mount" the system is unchecked
I have been stuck for 3 days now and Im starting to panic please reply i need serious help.
I have also tried to ADB Push from pc and it said the same errors
Help would be appreciated

You need a reco very that support "block:by-name" like said on cyanogenmod installation instruction page.

To flash a recovery all you need is fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Hello!
I tried to downgrade from nougat to mm and my /cust partition got corrupted.
Successfully installed EVA-L19C432B386 with the dload method, but I stuck at the huawei logo.
I have access to TWRP and fastboot, but in TWRP I got "Failed to mount '/cust' (Invalid argument)" error.
Could anyone help me to find out why these happen?
Thank you in advance!
EVA-L19
twrp-3.1.1-1-eva.img
EDIT: I found my stock cust.img and flashed it via fastboot. Finally it's working properly.
Can you install anything from TWRP

I can, but every rom I install from TWRP ending with a "Failed to mount '/cust' (Invalid argument)" error message and won't boot.
Maybe if I can find my stock cust.img, I can restore it with this method.
But I cannot fint it anywhere.
At me similar was.
Hardly corrected the situation. I put twrp-3.0.2-0-eva-modaco-test1 in place of eRecovery using adb flasher, it saw the phone's memory. Then I formatted the "system" section in the ext2. Next, I rebooted into the stock recovery. It erased the cache (up to 100%) and data (an error of 19%), but the smartphone still loaded on the firmware Android 7.0 NRD90M test keys. Next, I requested a rollback, and then through the folder the dload in the built-in memory requested the firmware in b170.
Download http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91764&siteCode=uk
Install use method buttons .
in your condition at this moment might get bricked after some wrong flash
so my suggestions is enter fastboot flash stock nougat recovery if your still there ( emui 5 )
or flash stock marsmallow recovery ( emui 4.1 ) then download the rollback and apply fix
after that flash your marsmallow desired firmware
Hi, I have the same problem, but I can't fix it.
I tried the @Limerain link solution, but it doesn't recognize the commands for adb.
Help me, please!
Oh, thank you.

Use fastboot command instead of adb.

It didn't work either.
I've also tried Adb Pull, and it seems to do something, but no, it doesn't do anything.

I guess you still can go to twrp right? Download official rom, put into dload folder. Flash with 3 button method. Hope it's work. If you don't understand about custom rom, why try to install it? Official rom is already good enough

Did any of you try flashing the pit file too?
Try manually reinstalling the OS. That should resolve your issue. If not then take it to a Samsung Service Centre
I am stuck in the same situation basically, I tried 4 frimwares from different regions and nothing helped.
