[Q] Need help on my cativAate!!

i try to change my battery icon but after run the app my phone reboot an all it got
is white screen with [email protected] logo only and it freeze there. can any 1 help me.....
My phone build no is 2010.07.18. i can go to boot screen and reinstall package
but it dint work.. and cant connect to usb.http://media.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
well this is my 1st android phone that mean i still noob ..
and hope some 1 will help me.

if u want to upgrade to stock official 2.3 rom then download files from this link

download this rar file on ur pc .. unrar it then u will find a .nb0 file
jst copy this file to ur sd card using ur usb cable
dont put it in any folder it means putting on the root of sd card
when u done copying
remove data cable and then switch off your phone
now you have restart your phone in download mode now this is a tricky part
when ur phone is completly off and had vibrated like it does when shuting down you have to press volume up and volume down key both at the same time and keep them pressed
now while holding both of the volume keys together press the power on button and keep all these keys pressed until ur phone vibrates
now after that android written screen it will show an exclamation symbole underwhich there is a android standing here press the home button on the touch pad of this phone
now scroll down the menu by volume down button press it untill u reach 4th and might be last option which says "install .nb0 from sd card"
click on it by pressing Back key remember back key work as selection key in this mode
now it will ask u about yes or no
scroll down to yes and press back key
now in few minutes it will completly install and after installation it takes a little time to boot up

May be incomplete / bad download. Redownload nb0 file.
If you find device id mismatch error then use SUT L software to install using PC.

Nb0 file is correct bro.. I also faced this error earlier when tried to update my phone by different nb0 file which is for csl mi 410...!!!

ok if u are facing these issue then its time to go to download mode
go to this link and download latest sut (software update tool)
now unzip it and select the most suited version for ur window x86 x64 both are included

when ur done install the software run it
and follow the attachments
when u are at the last moment of attachments its time to go to download mode
switch off ur phone
keep ur data cable ready
when phone is off press the volume up button remember only volume up button and keep it pressed and now press the power on button
it will now not vibrate or do not show that android symbol it will be a black screen showing something in white small fonts
now plug in the data cable and phone will be recognized by the software and also one drive named as fih will be shown
when phone is connected the next option will appear click on it and it will do all the work for you....
after all done phone will restart automatically and will be updated
"Make sure u make a back up of all contacts before doing it becoz i suggest for a clean installation though u can still go for upgrade insteed of fresh install"

ok after update in technical terms at 2.3 phone gets java 6 environmental build application support.. in easy terms... mostly all the apps are now supported
now u might notice that there are certain application installed with the update ,,, go here and read all about deleting them

and also get root access to ur phone then only u can enjoy the capabilities of a android phone..
as i searched for increasing fps for camera i didn't succeeded till date bt as soon i came to know any code i will let u know

now this isn't expected it was supposed to work fast.. ok does the problem accusing is this one
1. while lock the screen it takes quite long to lock and sound flicks
2. while turning on by pressing that lock button takes a way long to turn on screen
if these are the problems then u might go first to the good stock rom section and find another update file for 2.3.4 might mine is currpted for ur use it happens ...

yes there is the way... u jst need that .nb0 for 2.2 i think someone had already posted it search around..

Unable to find 2.2 nb0 file... Searched full internet. U r my only hope.. SO plz dude give me the file :'(

[Q] Gt-I9000 Freez after start up . please help!?

Alright so the short story of it ...i was on darky`s rom then decided to go on MIUI, after that i decided to install my apps and games and all that , after installing backstab game it give me a Force close and i deleted the game, after reboot i still got the FC (but i dont think that has anything to do with the problem) then my phone after boot when hes doing all the SD scanning and stuff got stuck in the SD card scan process i think and then freezes, at first i thought its bc of the MIUI rom and after several tryes whipes and allot of that i changed to a JVT stock rom (and installed root and cwm) but still after i start my phone, the screen freezes and doesnt do anything.. but when i press home button or back button they both light up or when someone calls me it works ..onlly thing is , nothing happens on my phone i cant even see if i`m getting a call or anything, i hope somebody can help me with this and sorry for my english and for the unecesary information ..i just tried to explaine everything that happend. Ty!

well i never realize the problem can be this simple and a memory card can do all this ....the problem was the card....all works fine now

[Q] Keeps crashing

Hello everyone, this is my first thread. I'm really in a trouble with my Samsung Galaxy Mini S5770.
Look I've rooted my android phone, and I was trying to increase the performance of my phone. I used this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309802 ) to increase the performance, I almost did everything I just needed to do final step which was to add lines, as you can go to that thread and look. I copied some files to my phone storage here /system/lib/hw , as it was instructed in that thread.
As I didn't complete the whole procedure because I had to deal with some work, and then after an hour I check my phone so it was off, I turned it on, so it come to home screen and after every 20 seconds it gets back to home screen closing every apps, first it will be black screen for 2 seconds then again to home screen, like the phone is being restarted/rebooted, but it will come direct to home screen after black screen, it happens every 20 seconds, I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME !!! It's only a phone I've now. I want it badly alive and working as normal.
For your kind information, I tried hard reset/wiping all data, but still the same result, it keeps crashing the whole system of my phone as I explained above. I think the files I copied in phone storage might be causing this problem. Is there any way to delete those files I copied from phone storage ? Now I can't download any app to delete those files because it doesn't let me, it crashes.

I hope you read my tip in one of your thread.
If you want to make your phone function normally, do a search first to check wheter mod is stable or not.
Here, in XDA you have to experiment yourself, find out which value makes your phone crashes.
If you did a search before you do it, this value :

Turns home app (launcher) priority to 0 (normal) so launcher keep killed since the RAM is full.

Yeah I've read your tips in my threads.
Well everyone in that post was saying it works well so I tried it but it failed. Anyways I've fixed it by installing rom again. Thanks for your kindness.

Hi and welcome to XDA.
Before you post, you can try searching bit more deeper.
There's 1001 tutorial in Google to do this, so I advice you search before posting.

i couldnt find any for the gt s5770 i could however find loads for s5570 and i guess they both aint same but will the root procedure for the latter work for my device ???

Help with unstable k50-t5 please

Hi guys !
I bought a used K3 Note,guy said the system is unstable,apps stopping and random reboots from time to time,so i thought a flash will fix that. Damn i was wrong..
Flashed a bunch of roms,stock,custom,even did the stupid format all thingie with the SP Flash tool,so ended up with IMEI errors and NVRAM error. That doesnt bother me so much. What bothers me is that,the phone works,sometimes for hours,in standby or using,then apps start to " not respond" or " force close",if i leave it a bit it works again,or just freezes and reboots. No rules with the behaviour. I did a Memory test in SP Flash,and got a Brom Error : DEDICATED PATTERN ERROR (0xC1B), and i cant find anything about that. Is there any help,a fix,anything that i could try,or should i hammer a rusty nail through it ?
