[HELP] Right Capacitive Key Doesn't Respond - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hi,Guys
I just bought this phone for 1 week and right after I receive the phone, I go straight with flashing Freedom OS + Franco Kernel
And just few hours ago before I post this thread, the phone gives error. The right capacitive key didnt give any respond if i touched/taped/pressed it.
Even if I swap the button between Back or Recent still the right softkey doesn't respond. However if I turn the backlight on and touch the left, the light from the right capacitive key is functional, both give light respond but no respond from the right one.
I already flashed to stock to OxygenOS 4.1.3 but still no luck.
Is this really hardware error or has anybody encountered this kind of problem and manage to fix it ?
Please help.

D-Pad does not work

Greetings,
I have been having issues with my D-pad. It will work just fine until the blacklight shuts off or the phone is suspended. I bring the phone back to "life" and the D-pad will not work. When you push the middle button it brings up the button in the upper left of my screen.
In order to get my d-pad functioning again, I have to perform a softreset. This is getting tiresome...
I have flashed back to a stock rom. It does it on that. I flashed back to my preferred rom.
Does anybody have a clue what is going on or how I can fix it?
Thank you in advance,
Todd
**** Working correctly now.....Do not know what I did.....

N1: Screen issues (Stops working)

Hello,
I was wondering if there is some way to track what is happening on my phone? Since my screen stops working when waked up from standby. i.e. if i press the button at the top to standby and then when i press it again and reach the lock screen the touchscreen is not working, it is simply not registering touch and neither are the 4 small buttons on the bottom (back, settings, home, search). However, the OS in itself is still running as I think since I can still see the time move and if I hold the off button the menu comes up for reboot etc.
Anyone heard of anything like this or any tips how to solve this? I am rooted and running CM6 I think at the moment.
Thank you,
Svarto

so the only way to escape this is by pulling the battery and rebooting? when you do reboot and dont go in standby, the touchscreen works fine?
You can check the issue using logcat and /proc/kmsg.
Also, you can read my threads on the subject, describing the same error with logs, and see if your logs are the same.
I'm currently trying to check if the error repeats itself after full wipe and starting from scratch. In the meantime it didn't show up until I applied a theme, and then after reflashing the ROM it's gone again - I'm still checking, only a day has passed.
Yes, the only solution is to pull out the battery and reboot. Then it works fine and I can go in and out of standby. I havent found a particular pattern to it happening so it is hard to reproduce.
I will have a look at that logcat and your other thread!
Just to guide you - when it happens to me, the phone gets stuck with mmc0 access that receives "CRC error" reply and doesn't go through. Pressing power button for a long time several times and playing with trackball / touching the screen between presses "releases" the "lock", and you'll be able to work with the phone again until you put it to sleep again. If you turn WiFi and BT off and then back on - the problem seems to disappear.

[Q] Galaxy s i9000 touch keys not working

Hello,
My home key wasn't working because the cable was broken. I've purchased a new part from OEM atleast that's what says the site from which I bought it. I bought the whole module with vibrating motor and fixed the home button issue. However now the touch keys are not working. I've tryed with new stock firmware JVS and JVT, also tryed with SGS Tools (hard reset). Still the keys don't even light up. I've done a lot of research before this post but cant find a solution. The phone still has guarantee but I dont think they will accept it .... Thank you all in advance !
I'm sorry if there are some spelling errors, but I really need help.

Touchscreen dead?

Hey, recently I was just using my phone and it wouldn't respond to any of my touches / screen presses. I tried doing a factory reset (using CM 7 stable), but it still doesnt work. The menu buttons arent working either, but the trackball works fine. If I press REALLY hard down on the screen it registers my input. Any idea what happened or how I can fix it?
Was playing with a phone just last night with a non-responsive touchscreen. Couldn't get past the "Touch the Android to Begin" screen after reinstalling CM7. I found that if I gently pressed and twisted the bottom of the phone around the trackball, the touchscreen would come back. Give it a shot.
Have you ad trouble with this from before? Try installing another rom with wipe

Note 3 capacitive buttons not working properly

So a while ago my screens LCD cracked and stopped working so forward a few months and I get a new screen, and everything was fine except for the fact that my menu and back buttons don't work. Because everyone I press the menu button, the little right click like options op open but then a second later the a finder opens. Everytime I trap the back button it does nothing, but if I tap the menu key then the back back button really fast then the menu stays open, I also noticed that if I press the back button with my s pen then it works.
I just really want to have the original features of my phone if anyone is having the same problem as me or just knows how to fix it please respond. Thank you
