CPU Overclocking? - Sony Xperia E1

Hello, it´s me. I was wondering if there´s any way to overclock my old Xperia E1. Is there?

I don't think so. There's no kernel for Xperia E1 which supports overclocking and I don't think that it will ever have...

E1 always had heat issues, but If you want to overclock it, oh boy, god save that phone from dead
It would be better if the GPU could be overclocked, and not the CPU

Gpu throttling and Cpu throttling

Guys does anyone know if there is a way to control the Cpu / Gpu throttling on the Xperia SP on stock rooted roms?
XSP still needs development since its a new phone
Try doomlord's kernel if your looking to overclock your cpu. cant tell about gpu as i havent been able to get its setting through overclocking apps..hopefully upcoming months are gonna bring better kernels n mods

I don't want to overclock the CPU or GPU.
what i wanted was to set the temperature at which the CPU throttles the GPU and CPU,
as I noticed it throttles them way to early and causes performance to drop,
i've found a bunch of files in system/etc ...
thermald.conf
thermald-8960.conf
thermald-8960ab.conf
which most likely have the temperatures set in them, just dunno if they are degrees C or farenheit and it isn't clear which refers to which cpu speed either,
was hoping someone can help me out here ...

[Q] Oveclocking Sony Xperia Z1

How can I overclock my Sony Xperia Z1? And how much speed can be achieved with overclocking, actually to which clock can it go so it can work normally?
Man sorry for my English but you are a dunderhead.
The Xperia Z1 have got a Snapdragon 800 with 2,1 GHz (real) clocking.
The max possible clock on these CPU is 2.3 GHz.
You will not notice any faster experience.
But will notice little more heat and maybe the CPU will get danger.
S800 is a very strong Processor.
When you have lags than deactivate the animation or delete some useless apps.
But when so think you know more here please:
When you will overlocking then backup ta-> unlock bootloader-> flash doomloard kernel.
Sent from awesome Z1
If you want to try on your own risk.

if you rich 2.5ghz X 4 and no damage on the phone I think this will be good enough.

[Q] OC

Hello guys
How much can we in theory overclock our cpus? And how do we know that it is safe to overclock at a value?

2,3GHz + 30% = 2,99GHz but there is no one who is such a phone murder like i but when i have a pc with linux i can try 3,4GHz dont know why but i just want test such extreme oc
and you see if its safe on your device when you test it cause most xz1 have another chipset version
ps the kernel with highest freq atm is triinity ultimate kernel by @f(x)THaxxorX which has 2,8GHz oc + 650MHz gpu oc

So it would be possible for someone making a kernel which can oc until 3ghz?
And what about gpu?
Ps yeah I know he has done great job

when i have a useable linux pc (which can take a while) i do something and maybe @f(x)THaxxorX can make something like an extreme edition for those who wanna kill there z1 :silly: would be cool
and i think 650mhz are pretty much, i think its enough for our z1 ^^

In theory you can overclock it as really high, but all chips are built differently and some can OC more than others (like PC cpus). However, unlike PC s, you cannot easily change the cooling on our phones and OC would definitely reduce the life of the phone if it's in constant stress. You could probably overclock it by increasing core voltage but remember it's a phone, not an overclockable rig. Sorry I couldn't give you an exact answer.

Need to Underclock and Disable Touch Boost (rom kitakt .108)

Hi xda, i own a z1 and its currently running kitkat rom build number 14.4.A.0.108, rooted and unlocked bootloader
What kernel can i install that supports underclock the cpu to 1,4 ghz, because i feel that at 2,3 ghz its just an overkill. And the device heats up a lot.
Also how can i disable the touchboost feature, the cpu was at 300 mhz during idle, but when i touch the screen its jumps up to maximum frequency, how can i disable this ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
If u just allow z1 run in 1.4ghz, i think u need buy another phone

well the phone is given by someone to me, so no need to buy another phone, also i really liked the build quality
i am not heavy gamer or anything like that so i think 1,4 ghz will be more than enough

Is GPU overclocking Xperia Z c6602 worth it?

Hi im new in sony devices, Ive always had samsung ones and Im really scared of unlocking bootloader and flashing kernels since in samsung, it doesnt matter how much you mess up since they have odin.
Im wondering if it is worth the risk of overclocking it (i dont care about cpu overclocking, I need GPU overclocking) through custom kernels? Mainly for gaming purposes, did anyone already benchmarked it in real games and compared it from stock? Was it a huge difference or not so much?
