Hello there!
I'm currently facing the problem that my battery is draining relatively fast when I don't use the phone. I checked the wakelocks with WLD and these are my results:

}
In the Google Play Services (first one) there are the following important wakelocks:
- Icing: 16m 26s
- GOOGLE_C2DM: 16m 26s
-*launch*: 15m 35s
The other apps listed in WLD are showing one of those wakelocks or the *alarm*-wakelock.
So the problem must have to do with those 4 wakelocks, but I don't know how to solve them.
I would be happy if someone could help me out!
Thanks in advance!

No root, no fix of wakelocks.
Simple as that.
And Android Os isn't the problem itself. Some application is creating the issue, but it appears through this entry.

Thanks for your reply! I'll try Amplify
I have checked out the kernel wakelocks in WLD and the first one is called "chg_wake_lock". I couldn't find anything about this wakelock. Does somebody know how you can fix it?
Thanks!

Check what you have in 'Running Applications' in settings and post the screenshot.

I bet it would be WhatsApp, mostly when you are connected to any internet source.
But when I go to sleep , wifi and data are off :;S
Then I don't know, it may be weird, but I had a battery drain too, that was caused by Maps application, and it drained even with disabled GPS option.
You can still try, disable/kill this app after you stop using it, leave for night and you'll know. For me it worked.
I never use Maps , but I will go to freeze this
Thx
PD: MAPS ARENT INSTALL ON THE CM
alright, so let's clear stuff up in here:
your battery drain is neither caused by whatsapp, nor maps.
the only important information is in the kernel wakelock pic. baseband wakelock is causing your battery drain. nothing else (at least not really, every app causes a bit battery drain ). this is a tegra 3 issue. there's no way to solve it for now.
And not are solutions?
i have the exact same problem, tried everything to solve it, changed the baseband with 20A from HK too, with no results...
randomly run out this issue, still cant settle this proble...
Can anyone compare battery life on 4.4 vs lollipop? Has it become tolerable on this phone?

Lollipop is bad! Google really messed up in lollipop with battery life. I can go about 13 hours with 2.5 hours SOT. And i have virtually nothing installed and a ton of stuff disabled. Just check the lollipop battery impressions thread in general section.
On lollipop

I have KitKat only one day

With how much standby though? i could do that easily if i just left my screen on the entire charge of the phone.
This is SOT, with this SOT standby is not very much, all time I use Tapatalk, GG, some game's and from 15 % battery I have battery saving mode automatic turned on. the average time SOT with me is from 5 hours to 7.

I havent really noticed much of a diff between 4.4.4 and 5.0. I'm usually getting 2 - 3 days on a full charge.
Hi Guys,
I have been using MI5 for over a month now and have noticed recently that there has been a real rapid battery drain on my phone even though on idle mode. And to my surprise, the top battery consumer is Nova Launcher. Now this is happening just since last week. There has been quite a time since I have been using Nova Prime (even on my earlier phones) and never has such bug been spotted.
Is there anyone else who has faced similar issue? If so, can someone help me with the solution?
(P.S. The app is not updated or something, I have tried clearing cache / data, even tried uninstalling-reinstalling).
Please help since Nova is my daily driver.
Thanks,
APA

Hi, i have a weird problem with all 4.1.3 or beta 5.
After excessive data usage, like using torrent, the mobile data connection on my phone dies completely. Needs a reboot to restart.
I'm pretty sure Resurrection Remix latest version had the same, but only after i installed latest firmware.
Now im on 4.1.3 and the problem still exists.
Is there a baseband collection anywhere, or can i even try any older radio for this OS version i am on right now?

There might be something to this since it usually appears after 2gb of data transfer (default cap i think). Switched to aosp at the moment and have to see whether i will encounter this problem again, since theres no option for this in aosp.
Hi.
Sorry for my bad English.
I install autonotification I have 7 day trial. I grand permission for notyfication. I enable GPS (device only) but i can't open notification category (in options autonotification) . When i try open this options i have info ... I chose OK i have next info "waiting for device" and next i have info with error "java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException"
Why i can't open this options? What i must do? Or i can't open this options on android Oreo? But dev João Dias can open this options on Oreo https://youtu.be/AcTVnop3M3s
But i can't know how ?

Try turning gps location fully on then go back into AutoNotification and enter notification categories again. Then associate a device, any device, when prompted to. 3rd and 4th screenshots.
@ktmom I make what you wrote. I enable fully GPS and go back to autonotyfication and try open notyfication category, and I have that's same error. I trying get GPS fix, and this don't help. I forgot I don't have root . I have stock Oreo 8.0 and LG G5 H850 from Orange.

Do you have a WiFi access with this device? Or, any Bluetooth devices paired?
Those are the type of devices that AtuoNotification is looking to associate with. I have an older N6 on Oreo and this works fine. Though come to think, I may have an older release since I don't often update that device.
@ktmom You have right! . Now It's work. I use Bluetooth and pared with another Android phone ... Thanks for help!
