After restart my phone asks for PIN code but there is no "enter" button, only the "back button". How can I enter the PIN code ?
After you type last correct digit it should automatically move you to main screen.

My Kaiser is set up to request a PIN to access phone services. If I use comm manager to switch off the phone reception then switch it back on again, I don't get the screen up asking me to enter the PIN. If I press the green 'call' button it comes up then. It used to bring up the enter PIN screen as soon as I switched the phone mode back on but it's stopped doing it automatically - seems to coincide with setting an option in SPB backup to auto enter the pin after a reset (which coincidentally didn't work!)
Can anyone think of a way to get the PIN screen to come back on like it used to?
Thanks
Hi,
perhaps there's a very simple answer to my question. After booting my DIAMOND, there's the original dialpad for a very short time. I couldn't enter the pin. Then it shows "network unreachable". Ok, without Pin, it's ok. But why i can't enter my pin after booting?

im not sure if the problem i have is related, but about 50% of the time when i reboot the phone it goes to windows home screen without asking for a PIN.
It does not load TF3D its just a plane black today screen with calander at the bottom.
If i go comm manager and turn off then on "phone" or "airplane mode" this forces the device to ask for the PIN
after successful PIN entry the phone works as normal!!! bizzare
This has happened with every ROM i have tried so i can only assume its a problem with my device or the 3rd party software i introduce to it after i flash the ROM.

I have this too. But I just press the "Phone call" hardware button and then the screen where you can enter the PIN appears.

How can I make it so when I enter my PIN, it automatically unlocks when I'm finished entering it? I find the extra keystroke of hitting that "enter" key annoying hundreds of times over
Laziness is not an option... The enter button is an important key feature in securing your phone... The enter key triggers a count for each pin input you do and having excessive incorrect pin input would cause your phone to lockdown.
Bummer....i know the iPhone doesn't require a press of the enter button and the option to bypass enter is on CM 10. Oh well....guess for the moment I'll just have to increase the period of time before a PIN is required. I wouldn't normally require a PIN but my corporate email requires it.
I'm trying to understand device encryption. If I encrypt my device, do I need to use an alphanumeric password each time I unlock my phone or only when it powers on? I'd rather use a pattern for regular use but am happy to enter a passcode on startup.
You have to use a PIN code as encryption is tied to the PIN code by default. With root, the boot password and PIN code can be set independently and the unlock PIN code can be replaced by a swipe pattern or nothing at all based on your location (using Xposed and the No Lock Home module for example).
