Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a gaming mode port from Oxygen OS available which can be used in custom roms or if the same feature can be replicated using some third party app or any other setting. I tried searching for it but couldn't find, so if anyone knows about it please do tell. Thanks

Yes. Install a relatively recent version of CM7 to get the feature support. Then you simply enable it by selecting the Focus Mode "Touch".
Most custom roms should have this. But you could also use apps in the market.
I remember camera360 had that feature.

I've just bought the hdmi adapter for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 but when I connect the tablet to the tv the image is 90° rotated.
I found in the forum there is this issue in the overcome rom.
Do you think there's any app that let you rotate the tv out?
There is also another strange thing, subtitles in movies are not rotated... I can read them perfectly...
the overcome rom is based on a 10.1 rom, that's why it is rotated, contact the rom developer to see if anything can be made.
Mmmh... ok, I understand that the rom i based on the 10.1... but I do not understand why they should act in a different way. They are both "horizontal" tablets.

I have the same issue with HDMI out. I also tried the aosp and cm ics roms and still same problem. Did you find anything out? If u did please share. Thanks.
no I also tried to modify the build.prop because there a line which is the ro.hdmi.mirror.enable that could be set to true but I just messed up the system and I had to restore a backup... so, don't try to do it.
I also found an apk called hdmimirroring.apk, but it works on motorola atrix...
so, you are telling me that all the roms have the same problem... oh, i'm sad...

I recently switched to MoKee and had to find out, that mirrorlink does not work/come with aosp/cm.
Has anybody found a way to get it back to work? Which files need to be placed where, or better: are there simple 3rd party apps which can do the same, or an exposed module?

I have searched around all the custom roms and have seen many good features from many different roms, but since most are based off the cm12.1 source, there is the fish eye bug when using the camera.
I appreciate this is an ongoing issue, and will eventually be sorted out.. however I quite like the stock camera especially with the 20MP Superior auto module via xposed.
Can anyone recommend a decent slim rom with a working camera as good as stock or above? Is it possible to restore the DRM keys back and use the standard camera app with a custom rom?

As far as i know, stock camera app doesn't have a face retouching/smoothing feature, right ?
