We all know about this trauma while reinstall the stock firmware or doing normal update to our phone, also we've try a lot of guides on Google and no one it's work? no problems, in this final solution I'll help you how to get device restores with worked baseband and no rebooting anymore, just sit, read carefully and apply the steps.
P.S.: if there're any similar guide feel free to remove it, I'm not sure about that.
Requirements:
TWRP 3.0.2 ( I use the one from Honor 4C which contain the option to wipe Cust partition).
Single Sim unbrick files or.
Dual Sim unbrick files. (to download the correct firmware for your variant just check Chapter 4: Unbricking.
Unlocked bootloader (you know how to do that).
Fastboot tools that you'll find inside unbrick files roms.
Balong patch: check attached files, put into phone memory in a folder called dload and flash via Local Update (do this step ONLY after flash the firmware and see BalongV100R001C50B311 or similar)
Compatible Roms:
Emui 3.1 both single and dual sim.
Emui 4.0 not tested yet, but should work.
Same thing for OTA update, in case of getting problems just download the full rom and extract
the cust partition of same installed ota version then follow steps solve reboot problems
Steps
Once the firmware is booted fine, you'll see the stock aosp background and missed applications and features which is gone, that's mean the cust partition is not flashed at 100%, here how to fix the problem.
Download the TWRP of Honor 4C (don't worry they are similar phone, tested by myself).
Rename the image to twrp.img and pust inside fastboot folder, reboot phone into fastboot mode and run fastboot flash recovery twrp.img .
Reboot into recovery, click on Wipe then choose ONLY Cust partition.
Reboot to Bootloader from Reboot menu inside recovery.
All you have to do is reflashing cust image by fastboot flash cust cust.img .
IF you see signal of sim and it operator name, your device and missed apps or features has been fixed and restored as well.
IF you see Balong bug in "Build Number" in about setting, just flash the update.app that you have to put it inside dload folder and download from attached files to resolve the problem, if you see this tutorial is helped you, just hit thank
I know something like this was asked before , but i've got confused and need help with that .
i have Chinese Dual sim version EVA - AL00 and i want to convert it to international dual sim version EVA-L19.
Is that possible ?
I've unlocked bootloader , i also found Software for L19 (all needed files : recovery, boot, userdata, firmware) . i even found Nougat (android 7.0) firwmare ..
So , can i cross flesh them ? and how can i do that?
L19 firmwares
http://huaweidevices.ru/category/huawei-p9-eva-l19 (marshmallow files)
http://www.gizrom.com/android-7-0-emui-5-0-huawei-p9-eva-l19-2/ (nougat files)
*#*#2846579#*#*
And then update from sdcard doesn't work!
use adb/fastboot to flash system, boot, cust and recovery image from L19 marshmallow and next flash with sd card method nougat update

Hmm , you did that before?
i mean in theory i understand it's possible and i did something similar to other brands (like htc m7) years ago , but don't really want to brick this one , because i really like it
anyway what's order ?
1) fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
2)fastboot flash boot boot.img
3) fastboot flash Userdata ?? (don't think i've ever used this one before)
4) fastboot flash system update.app
this one confuses me more then others, because there is only "update.app" and not system.img or something like that ...
Ok so i've bricked it , because fastboot flash system update.app didn't work because of error
"targed data reported max download size ..."
no i'm just waiting for huawei Erecovery to download file
Install Adb/Fastboot, download lastest Marshmallow ROM for L19, download and extract Huawei Extractor, extract update.app with Huawei Extractor(system, boot, recovery, cust image), connect phone to pc with enabled debugging and flash images with commands :
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot reboot
After flashing make factory reset.

Huawei Erecovery reinstalled software with no problem, so there is still a chance..
I was excepting exact that thing .
now our goal is to find system.img or fastboot command to flash update.app , installing boot and recovery was quite easy and had no problem with it after i unlocked bootloader (again)

I've unlocked bootloader
then connected phone with fastboot mode (power off , then Vol down and plug usb)
and then i flashed boot and recovery which caused soft-bricking (bootloop) , because boot/recovery was for L19 and system still was AL00 .
i just need to flash system.img somehow and it will work ...

No i didn't .
I'll try that too , but without system.img , or update.app flashing command which i don't know , i'm most likely stuck with this

I wanted to try changing oeminfo and then flashing again , but after flashing firmware with Erecovery , it relocked bootloader and i don't really want to got same processes again , i mean unlocking bootloader will reset device and i'm tired of removing HIXX crap and installing google things (esspecialy contacts)
if there is at least 90% of chance with flashing L19 firmware , then i'll do that , but for now i think i'll stuck with this , at least for some days
Anyone with more info about this stuff?
I did converted AL00C00 to L19C432..... Everything working fine.... Anyone interested.... I can share.... It z quite simple....
Hi, could you share the steps to do the conversion.? Many thanks
Bootloader : Unlocked
Recovery : Revolution Nougat Recovery for p9 lite
Device : GT3 NMO-L22 (NEM-L22 oeminfo flashed)
So I've soft bricked my phone pretty much, I have tried plenty of methods to try and rollback to MM but have had absolutely no luck. I have been able to flash boot images, recovery images and system image files extracted from nougat update.app files and marshmallow update.app files but the phone will hang on "device is now booting" .
Either the dload method will keep giving errors or the extracted files wont work I have tried flashing some roms but still nothing. sort of dont know what to do but would flashing another devices oem info help to install update.app files via dload method ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers
take image files from b100 update.App
Hi i got exactly same problem as your, i tried everything for like 8 hours and nothing successful, then i tried "Huawei Multiool" and flash recovery for honor 5c emui 5.0 then i rebooted my phone and it works i was ****ing happy because twrm not work for me
Sorry for my english
btw it doesnt depend whats your model there are also custom recoveries for p9 lite
links please Ive found links for both suggestions but not sure if Ive found the right ones thanks
Update : Okay so I need help still guys and didnt want to start another thread but I still have been unable to find an update package that will install using dload method. Please help I've tried everything including extracted img files using huawei update extractor. like i said in the op i dont know which update to download as I have tried alot and none of them seem to be doing the trick. please any help would be much appreciated
Edit : Have also tried the recommended fixes but none have made a difference unless im downloading the wrong files of course every single update file gives me the same error using dload method "incompatibiltiy with current version please download the correct update package"
so after what i thought would be an impossible fix i've finally found my solution, I dont know if this will work for everyone else but its definitely the easiest method I found through trial and error and trying way to many other methods i was hoping would work but here it goes.
Through the twrp 3.0.2 recovery recommended above I flashed hw_EU.zip recommended by user DRUGER in another thread for changing firmware to EU NEM-L51
after that I simply downloaded both the update.zip and update_data_full_hw_eu.zip for NEM-l51C432B120 and extracted only the update.zip file and placed the update.app file in a dload folder on the root of my SD card
I then wiped every partition apart from internal storage, oeminfo and sd card.
After that I tried to flash the update.zip giving me error 7 but I ignored it and then went on to flash the update_data_full_hw_eu.zip after that I wiped the cache and powered off the phone.
After that I used the 3 button method to go through to the update mode and for the first time ever I was able to install the update with no hitches, I am now on B130 build and honestly couldn't be happier I tried so many different firmware recommended everywhere but this was the only method that worked for me, It may not be the original model firmware and it may not work for other people but it worked for me so Im glad.
Also I may have made some unnecessary steps along the way but its better to include everything I did in case someone else decides to give this a try Im just happy to have a working phone again
Hey I need Nem L22 OEM can you please share here?
Fixed your device?
Just the device with proper OEM you can dload with proper update. App of yours oem.
After dload, not booting, all you need is to reboot to stock recovery and giving it a factory reset.
Hello everyone, I'm trying to relock my Huawei P10 bootloader but I'm getting the error "failed: root type is risk" when I give the locking command. I had already flashed stock recovery, recovey2 and boot but somehow it still sees the root.
So now I understand that to lock bootloader I have to flash the stock rom, but I don't know how. I have already downloaded the full-ota for my model with firmware finder (the android app). How do I install it?
Thank you

TRY PC and HWOTA and your correct firmware type!
search your phone type and click on filelist and download the 3 files. It may be the latest one.
update.zip
update_data_public.zip
update_VTR-L29_hw_eu.zip (for your phone!)
rename update.zip, update_all_hw.zip, update_data_public.zip
then put it in the HWOTA/update directory
then run the update.bat file with administrator privilege.
This puts the device in the factory and closes the bootloader.

Thank you. Will i have to flash dual sim version or i can use my actual version (L09C02)?
Ahh. Something went wrong and i haven't been able to flash .imgs anymore via fastboot.
Status: can't relock, no twrp recovery, frp locked* and grayed out in settings and thus cannot flash anything. Tried the dload method with the .APP file but the installing got stuck at 5%.
Seems DC-unlock is the only chance now. Gosh, one can't really relax with this device
*interestingly there's a command to unlock the frp via fastboot, but it asks for a password! Tried few ones (google acc., bootloader code, perosnal pin) but didn't work.

NO! your phone 1 sim card and vodafone branded!
You need L09C02 firmware (vodafone) or debrand option in HWOTA L09C02--to--L29C432.
You need 1 debrand flash and 1 same brand flash one after another.
in this case the warranty will be lost but there will be a 2 sim card phone retail eu firmware.
HI
A newbie here. I have a P30 Pro VOG L09 single sim UK stuck in boot loop. All methods to recover have failed so I am going to try flashing the firmware
I have downloaded this VOGUE-L09C 10.1.0.150(C431E19R2P5)_Firmware_EMUI10.1.0_05016TKC can you please confirm it is correct please.
I have extracted from the zip file above the file named dload. Do I need to just add this as is to pendrive or do the zip files inside need to extracted also?
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated ( in simple terms please)
Many thanks
