Help Please - MTCB Android Head Units General

I installed an Android head unit in my wife's VW some 3 or 4 years ago.
Most features work just fine but there are three problems.
The RDS AF (auto follow) does not work even though the AF box is checked. So as we drive out of the area of one transmitter in a network the radio does not automatically retune to the next one. This is her number 1 complaint.
There is a small battery drain when the keys are removed from the car so after a 2 or 3 week holiday the battery is flat.
The boot time is very slow
Can these problems be solved with an update?
Thanks
diacong

[Q] wrong utc gps date

HI,when I record a gps track my note is showing the wrong date in the gps file.
It is always showing the next day..I checked UTC time using GPStest and utc date is incorrect.
Is there a way to change it? what's the matter?
Thank you
I noticed this problem in my Samsung Galaxy S when using GPS Test app. I first contact GPS Test app developer thinking it was a leap year problem, but he answered that he already knew the problem, that is started on february (so it isn't a leap year problem) and that it doesn't happen in all android devices. So I checked GPS Test UTC date in my wife's Sony Xperia Neo V and the UTC date was OK!
Then, I checked UTC date in my phone using a differente app (GPS Essentials), and again UTC date reported was wrong.
I'm wondering if it could be an Android-related problem or a GPS-Chip hardware problem.

NFC on G900A Marshmallow

So up till now I hadn't really tried using NFC on my phone since Android Pay didn't support Chase. For the past month or two I've been trying to get it work without any luck.
These are the things I've tried already,
Turning S-Beam Off, leaving Android Beam On
Tried transferring images with HTC M8 (Android Pay works on this one), didn't work, not even a beep
Wiping Data and Cache, to see if any of the apps might have been causing problems.
I'm starting to think my device hardware might be at fault, but before I jump the gun, is NFC/Android Pay working for any of you guys on latest software?

Nougat Upgrade problem NOTE5 SM-N920A

AT&T recently updated my Galaxy NOTE 5 (N920A) to Android Version 7.0 Ever since this update certain audio stops working and I have to re-boot in order to fix it. This happens 1-3 times a day at random times. The phone stops ringing & all notifications stop playing. So far the only audio files that will play are music files with the Music app that came with the phone.
I backed up my phone and did a Factory data reset. With the basic factory default settings and programs the same thing happens. I recently installed SiriusXM and noticed when this happens if I run the SiriusXM App the audio from the SeriusXM app does not play. I installed VLC player to play misc audio files from the phone and when this happens and I try to play a file with VLC it stops responding and has to be closed. Once I reset the phone it all starts working.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Switching Front Camera Off & Firmware update

Hello Guys
1 - When car moves, I got "No Video Signal' warning several times in a minute. (Stops everything, radio etc. and cannot interfere. Than disappears and again...)
When car don't move, no problem.
Someone said it maybe because of front camera option. (If it is "on" in the settings but not plugged). (There is no camera btw)
But I couldn't find anything related in Settings!
Edit: More dramatically, it happens on 2nd, 4th and 6th gear (!?) (Gear 1-3-5 ok)
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA?

What should I look for/be carefull when updating/looking for firmwares?
May I load: V7.3.1_20170610.110122_KED1-mod
or: V7.3.2_20171116.202256_KED1-mod for exaple?
Thanks in advance...
I canceled CAM_LINE cable going in HU.
Problem disappeared.
But camera connection canceled as well !
But what is the relation between reverse gear and 2-4-6? How may it happen?
What kind of need may there be in the car to differentiate 1-3-5 gears from 2-4-6 so that this can happen?
This happens in Dualogic (Automatic Fiat).
In manual car, no problem...

Wandefoo Android 8 Opel Astra H connectivity issue

Hi all,
I hope you can help me with the following issue.
I purchased a Wandefoo Android 8 head unit on AliExpress for my Opel Astra H. Great unit, I love it. It has only one big issue;
Every now and again (one or two times per week) the Bluetooth and wifi connectivity appear to crash/go offline. When that happens you cannot connect blue tooth devices, it doesn't connect to any familiar devices or connect to wifi. The buttons are there but they appear to be irresponsive. Wifi is in off status unable to set it to on. Bluetooth opens the bluetooth menu but it doesn't do anything. It remains this way until one or a combination of the steps below are taken:
Only solutions are (a mix) of these step:
- Reboot the device by holding power button (Most of the time do that twice).
- If that doesn't solve it; reset the wifi/bluetooth settings in the systems menu.
- If that doesn't solve it; go the the recovery menu and delete the cache.
Then it will run for a couple of rides.
It never happens when it is working and you are driving. It changes after shutting down the car and thus the radio. I also tried to change the quick wake to a regular reboot everytime, but that doesn't prevent the issue from occurring.
I hope any of you can help me with this, or by fixing the issues or applying the proper updates/patches to this device. I have seen a tremendous amount of devices here and I don't know what fits my device. These are my specs:

For those that might stumble on to this;
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...ifi-bluetooth-waking-t3852206/page6?nocache=1
Might have some solutions for you. I'm still in the middle of checking and testing and can't confirm yet.
It basically says two things;
1. Resetting the internal USB (hub) module through root and a script might solve some issues.
2. As it appears some new chips have been released solving these issues.
Hope it helps anyone.
Cheers Ben
