Good morning, maybe not the place to ask this but I would like to know if any of you could help me to do the rebrand to RNE-L21C432. I have already done the Rebrand from RNE-L03C25 to RNE-L23C605 and it works without problems (4G, camera and everything), but when I try to RNE-L21C432 4G does not work and if I apply a patch that appears on the internet it appears with 3 gb of ram etc.

I am flashing the OEMINFO that I found on this website https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...other-development/oeminfo-collection-t3762385 and I am using the HWOTA to install the system but I see the errors that I mentioned in my first post. I read that the problem could be that that OEMINFO is from android 7 and I'm trying to do the rebrand in android 8. Thanks for asking.

Do note that you first need to rebrand to C432, then update to the same firmware you have installed.
Else you end up with a frankenfirmware, or half broken
So first rebrand and flash using HWOTA8, then same cust update

when I enter the mobile networks available and scanned manually to see 4g networks, only 3g and 2g appear. Does the oeminfo have anything to do with the 4g bands of the cell phone?

It shouldn't. But it does contain IMEI/MEID/IMEI2/SN (At least on phones released with Oreo).
On Mate 10, for example, HWOTA edits your own oeminfo to the target cust.
You could look into that, it runs a binary included in HWOTA that edits your oeminfo, so you could check script to see what exactly it does and try to execute it in TWRP for your device.
Just keep a backup of your own oeminfo in case anything goes wrong
HWOTA for Mate 10 download: https://mega.nz/#!oeATEQQb!qiP3mYlQQgZYlaS3dbY_QCwNJ-urTKyLQ2zKOA9KP8g
Mankindtw removed it since he believed it caused bricks, but it was actually because of firmware. (New bootloader)

Hello, I have been slow to respond, but I can say that 4G does not work for me with the CUST C432 (Europe), C636 (Asia) and C675 (India). I have been reading and researching and in those regions I do not use band 4 (1700/2100) for 4G, in my country my operator uses band 4 for 4g and the only CUST dual sim that works for me as I mentioned is C605, This CUST is the one used in Colombia and is for band 4 of 4g. This version does not update as fast as the C432, C635 and C675, if someone can tell me how to solve this problem I would appreciate it very much
that is the link of someone who explains that when you change cust you can lose the signal and I think that in my case I lost the 4g signal for that reason

Did someone try to change the firmware on any UL00 device to L09 and uptade to B303?
I changed my Location from UL00-C00B120 to UL00-C433B114 without any Problems.
If i try to change to L09-C432B114 the same way (change build.id etc.) an error appears "incompatible with current version"
Changed Build.id to L09-C432B114/B000 and then tried to update to B114/B145 without success.

From memory I think OEMINFO needs to be hw/eu for L09
But I would need to check when I get home in about 2 hours time
You'll then need to install the CRR-L09C432B114 firmware, which will them collect OTA update to B145...then you can install the B303 MM Beta from the other forum post

I had to do a factory reset before I could get the update to install?
You may still be on the UL00 version....check your settings to see if you have things like the permissions manager and the mobile data package details (you know the place where you can change your monthly data allowance and cycle date) because if you still have thm then your still on the UL00 firmware.
I had this happen even though my build was showing as L09.
I took the update.app from the CRR-L09C432B144 zip and placed it in the dload/ folder on the root of the device, and then when it tried to update it said not compatiable, and then asked me if I wanted to download the full package, which it did....but a factory reset was needed in the end for me.
---------- Post added at 05:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:20 PM ----------
Also, something else which I think I had to do was to switch off and then hold both power + and - then press the power on...This took me to a firmware update screen (before booting) where it used my wifi to download the latestest firmware....maybe you could try this....im not certain on the volume button combo...it was either just the - and power on, or just the + and power on or like i said both the + and - and power on

like i already said. after changeing the oeminfo and edititing the build.prop, the factory reset always fails at 3%. i also can´t use any update.app file. tried using the update.app from the b145.zip but didn´t work either. i also don´t get an message to download the correct update.
what exactly did you write into the build.prop?
i currently have no permission manager and no mobile data manager

The languagesupport kinda sucks for german users, if you use the chinese UL00. To have better support, i changed my location from UL00-C00B160 to UL00-C433B112. This way i have got a better language implementation but lost some features which i´m missing now. I´m not using the dual-sim function which is why there are no cons for me.
But since i have the chinese hardware, maybe it would be possible to activate the dual-sim function.
There are two lines in the Buld.prop
persist.sys.dualcards=false
ro.dual.sim.phone=false
changeing these and some other options could help maybe.

If you do, you could change that string "ro..dual.sim.phone" into TRUE and see what happens. It would be absolutely great if that was possible!

Flashed all files and then tried a clean update. Didn´t work. My Mate S shows the right Build and Vendor but i´m still not able to use the C432 Update.app´s.
Are you able to update manually?
Is your phone originally an L09 or UL00 device? If it´s an UL00 Mate S, could you tell me exactly what you did?
My phone is originally an L09, but i broke it in UL00C00, can't get back to L09, recovery don't boot, flash via fastboot lead to freeze at boot
Yesterday I figured to debrand my VNS-l21. Everything is fine, updated manualy to latest ROM B130. But, CUSTC has changed from C02 (Vodafone EU) to C900 (Global). In P7 thread there someone posted small update.app file (around 18 kb, http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/help/p7-l10-defect-report-reminders-t2952124) that after flashing will change the CUSTC back to C432 (EU open market).
Have someone idea where to get this file for VNS-l21?

Nice work with the toolkit Years before I had unlocked & rooted every of my smartphones but, last two years I need to work with some apps that recognizing rooted device and won't work (bank app etc.). So if there no chance to change the region back to C432 without rooting the device, I will stay on that Global CUSTC (after two days of deep testing, there's no problem with it). Maybe later someone will do that update.app file or will be included in future update ROM.

First, if you can build that update.app for l21/l31, it would be amazing, because that will be BIG help for everyone who want only to debrand our P9 Lite's without lose warranty or brick it.
Second, nice to have there someone, who taking care of this phone :good:
Hello dear developers...Recently I bought a used Huawei p9 lite vns-l21c150b106 single sim...It is cosmote branded and I want to debrand it cause I found out by searching that there are several updates such as b150...When I try to update my phone it says that has the latest updates...I wanted to ask if there is a way to debrand it and return to official Europe stock rom without void my warranty...I found a way in the internet through local update via sd card but I don't find the stock rom Europe(I live in Greece)for my single sim vns-l21...I found only vns-l21c432b160 which is for dual sim...I think that vns-l21c150b160 must be for my single device,i suppose that the difference is c150 and c432...any solution please???
Hi I have the Dual Sim Version of the p9. Everything is working well with both Sims except I can not disable the second Sim. But this is essential for me since I want to disable my work Sim when I leave the office. Huawei Website says one has to use the Dual sim Manager...which my phone has not Installed. Tried it with an app from the play Store but found out p9 is not yet supported by the App.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
It should be in the settings menu standard.

Hi, I read that too. The thing is I don't have the Dual Sim section in the settings.
Edit:
I´m confused: I just read that dual sim version is L19 only. But I have L09 (bought on amazon)... but both sims working fine... only the managing setting is missing.
I get two IMEI numbers when using *#06#
What is going on here?
What do you have L19 or L29?
as edited in the post before : Confusingly I have L09 but both sim cards are working like a charm, only the setting does not show up
very interesting can you try nfc? L19 dont have nfc and dual sim L09 have nfc and single sim.
May be someones flash L09 rom your L19 phone.

I can confirm: NFC not working.
That phone was bought via amazon but the merchant was in hong kong. So maybe they took the chinese L19 and flashed the european L09 version.
In this case I won´t be able to activate the dual sim management setting I guess.
Damn! This is bad.
No not bad, you can flash L19C432Bxxx full version with dload method very easy. Look the warehouse topic
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1079/g104/v52786/f1/full/update.zip extract UPDATE.APP to sd card dload folder shutdown phone and vol+ vol - power buttons, all 3 press same time. Wait and you will see upgade your phone.
sure I can do that, but since this is half a work phone now I didnt wanted to root or flash anything since there are company certificates installed. I guess if I flash there are no OTA updates possible?
This method is official, no need unlock bootloader or root. There is dont reason will ota update but i dont sure.

No, LTE will work, but if you happen to be using 4G+ (or LTE+, or LTE-A, or whatever you want to call it) in Europe, this means that i am right, and you can trade sim managment for better 4G. Because the EVA-L19 has limited 4G+ capabilities (note: not 4G capabilities).

How to install Dual SIM CardManager.
Your phone must be rooted. Use filemanager with root access, for example Root Browser, ES File Explorer, Solid Explorer.
Go to directory root - system - hw_oem - EVA-L09 - xml.
Open file unstall_apk.xml using text editor, delete text /system/app/HWCardManager.apk; and save.
Open file APKInstallList.txt and insert text /system/app/HWCardManager/HWCardManager.apk and save.
Permissions must be -rw-r--r--.
Reboot phone and Dual SIM CardManager will be installed.
If you want to change the model number and build number:
Go to directory root - cust - special_cust - EVA-L09 - hw - eu
Open file local.prop using text editor, change in ro.build.display.id, ro.build.description and ro.buid.fingerprint EVA-L09 to EVA-L19. Save.
Permissions must be -rw-r--r--.
Reboot phone.
Your phone is now identified as EVA-L19, but the customization is EVA-L09. This is not a problem, it works very well.
Thanks for the Tutorial but rooting is nit an option since this is a business phone.
Hello everyone!
I just bought an used P9 (EVA-L19) in pristine condition. It arrived with the nougat update but it is missing all Huawei apps. I don't think I really mind not having those (less bloat, hurray!), but I really want at least the camera app! What should I try? This thing is full stock (unrooted), and I'd rather keep it that way... Should I just flash the full stock firmware? HiSuite claims my phone is up to date, but I've got no idea how to check what build my current firmware is.
Thanks!
Oooh... the build seems to be NRD90M "test-keys", which appears to be an old beta build from my googling. Do I have to go back to MM and then upgrade to Nougat? Hopefully I can do all that without a custom recovery...
You have an intermediate firmware.
Search here the B378 for C432 if you want the european version (wich is working fine; some other last updates may have some problems - for example, with B383 me and others have problems with the battery).
Where are you from ??

I'm from Brazil, but I know for a fact this phone isn't brazilian. It comes with a bunch of stuff written in spanish rather than portuguese, and a warranty certificate citing a bunch of spanish-spekaing latin american countries. I'm browsing through the forums and trying to find out what is my Cust yet. But thanks for the response.
Also, if I have to flash something, is it better to stick with Nougat or is Marshmallow more hassle-free?
(I've attached a screenshot of the status screen from Huawei P9 Tool, this is all the data I could gather so far)
I can't read the screenshot ...
On the "About the phone - Version number" what do you have ??
For example, mine has EVA-L19C432B378, where:
-EVA-L19 is the phone model (P9 dual sim);
-C432 is the european version;
-B378 is the firmware version.
Also, you can read that thread too ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/how-to-downgrade-nrd90m-to-marshmallow-t3541400

All it says on "Version number" is "NRD90M test-keys". I've read that thread, but to downgrade you need a ROM, and without knowing my Cust ID I'm not sure which ROM I should get.
The screenshot shows my serial number (XVV7N16425001010), the model (EVA-L19 - Dual Sim 32GB Rom 3GB RAM) and a weird build string (eng.jenkin.20161230.130431)

Hello,
do you have dual sim , or single sim and NFC ?
Dual sim: EVA-L19 ou L29
Single sim and NFC EVA-L09 (Européan version)

Dual SIM EVA-L19 - No idea if I've got NFC or not. Can't find anything NFC-related on the menus, but it might be that I do not know where to look. Long time Windows Phone user here, just migrated back to Android

NFC is an connectivity option.

It does have dual SIM, and is the EVA-L19. So no NFC then. Does it help? I'm currently looking for debranding guides because I can't find what branding this phone originally had.
Oooh well... so far:
1- *#*#2846579#*#* doesn't work (nothing happens), can't enable Manufacturer mode for DC Unlocker
2- The HUAWEI EMUI site doesn't give me a bootloader unlock code, so can't unlock the bootloader with the official method
So, so far, I can't install TWRP, so I can't flash a C432 oeminfo.bin
Also, the Rollback instructions at https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/rollback-eva-l19-android-7-0-emui-5-0-t3496091 fail, as the rollback intermediate firmware just fails at 5% claiming to be incompatible with my device.
Aside from blindly trying to flash random firmwares with the three button method, do you guys have ANY ideas at all? I need a rest, just wasted the whole day trying to get this damned thing fixed
Sad thing: even with a borked firmware install this is still orders of magnitude better than my old Lumia 930.
EDIT: GODDAMMIT, BLUETOOTH ALSO DOESN'T WORK!

Ok so you've got to google this or to find on xda some answers.

I'll give the instructions of the first post a try, though they did not work for the OP.
EDIT: AAAAAND the 800mb file is downloading at 28kbps... this won't be fun
I'm not sure if it would've been better to edit the last post or add a new one, so if this is agains the rules (I've read them and couldn't find it), please inform me and I'll change things accordingly... buuuut.... IT WORKED.
The OP on the topic absynte pointed out never really posted the outcome of his issue and it looked like he never got it to work, so here is what I did:
Flashed the zip file
I flashed the zip file linked in this post through starting up with vol up + vol down + power. Exactly like the guy over there it did not solve my issue, but did uncover I had exactly the same build as him (EVA-L19C185B361 - Middle East / Asia)
Flashed the intermediate firmware
I download the correct intermediate firmware (C185B300) from here and flashed the same way. The *#*#... menu did not work (as in the menu itself didn't show up)
Flashed a MM build
I downloaded and flashed C185B180 for whatever reason (could've gone with tha latest MM build right away AFAIK). Worked great, all stock apps were there and so was bluetooth
Let the phone update itself through OTA
It updated itself to B210 (or B220, don't remember well) and then B385. Seems to be working fine, but I haven't given the battery a fair chance (constantly flashing and updating stuff) to judge its performance.
Thanks everyone for the help!

I did exactly what I said in the last post: flashed C185B300 (from http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/downgrade-huawei-p9-nougat-marshmallow-os-middle-east-russia/), then flashed C185B180 (from http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/download-huawei-p9-b180-marshmallow-update-l09l19-middle-east/)

thanks for your answer my friend , i will try and update u
---------- Post added at 01:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 PM ----------
working my friend , but be sure to backup first because u will lost everything
My previous build was ELS-N29 10.1.0.176(C432E8R6P1) and no EMUI 11 for me through regular channels (Settings/System & updates and Support App), so i decided test update through eRecovery and voilá, now I have EMUI 11 build 11.0.0.151(C432E3R6P4)
I followed these steps:
1. Boot into Recovery, USB cable connected to the device and to the PC/Charger, with device switched off press VOL+ and Power ON, maintain both pressed till you see the Recovery, then select "Update mode".
2. Select "eRecovery mode".
3. Select "Update and recover system"
4. Select "Download update and recover"
5. "Enabling Wi-Fi..."
6. "Connecting to Wi-Fi network..." select yours, add password and select "Connect"
7. If the "Downloading Package..." is EMUI 11, wait till the all process ends, in case is not, then you can cancel and restart the device.
Enjoy!!
Notes:
- Takes a little bit longer "verifying package..."
- During update you'll see "Recovering system", Do not remove the battery or storage device. !!!
- Data partition won't be wiped.
- If your are not happy with EMUI 11, because you still with Android 10, not 11 as I have expected, HiSuite_11.0.0.500_OVE offer a rollback to EMUI 10.1.0, in my case for ELS-N29 10.1.0.176(C432E8R6P1), BUT this time the data partition will be wiped.
* ATTENTION: YOU are choosing to install this firmware at your own risk.
* I do not take responsibility for any problems with your device.

Any chance that your internet provider is barring to the device contact Huawei servers?
Can you check with different one?

same error as you, we have the one sim version it seems
@cmoss9946, @mynameisalvaro
Your firmware is customized for one service provider?
Your devices have only one SIM active because they are locked by firmware?
So, they decided disable this feature to maintained the contract, if not this FW would set you free, i think!!!

Nope, I got the firmware from firmware finder, only one SIM because of the tray, this is a different model than the international one that has dual SIM. Its just there is no emui 11 yet for our specific model I belive.

This is what happens once you downgraded your firmware using hisuite proxy. Software updates are now broken.

Not really , it's probably because we have different phone versions than the european, my version is the one for America so no Emui 11 yet
Right.
EMUI 11 does not come for all areas at the same time. And not for all models.
In time, it will come for everyone ... probably (for the announced models)
The steps worked for me. I have the international version which is dual sim (ELS-NX9).

Not really, only if you choose firmware for a different region.
