As the title says, is there any way to access your Samsung Notes from a website? I haven't found any way but it seems kinda ridiculous not to have this as an option.

If you have Windows 10, you can download Samsung Notes from the Windows Store. Login with your Samsung ID and away you go.

You could download the microsoft samsung notes app on your pc and link it up.
Thanks guys, I will download it to my personal computer but was hoping for a web based work option. I may just switch to a different note app that has the capability.
Samsung Notes on PC is far from good. Does not sync automatically and no search in handwriting. I do prefer Onenote for that, but onenote is far less powerful on the handset. It's a bummer. I often do on screen notes in meetings and they go straight into Samsung notes.

I have a galaxy note internatiol version N7000 and I LOVE the email application on it. I have purchased the one x, the galaxy s3 on AT&T and the galaxy nexus. All those other phones have HORRIBLE email applications. What I have to have is the ability to see the whole email and the note allows that via pinch in to zoom out.
So my question is this. Is it possible to package up the note's email app and install it on another phone? I don't want to root or mod unless I absolutely have to. This would solve the only problem I have with these other phones. Frankly I can't believe this is not a bigger topic of conversation. My wife won't touch android because of this, (her iphone does it without even pinching to zoom out) and I am getting sick of moving the email around to read the text.
So any super programmers out there interested in getting that email app off of the note and making it a package to install on the S3 or other new phone?
why don't you just download it from internet...
I upload the email.apk with exchange service.apk from my note

LOL. Why do people say that when K9 does not do that at all. I have not seen not one single email app on android do anything like the iphone email app in regard to sizing emails. The only one that has come close is the galaxy note email app. It does it but you have to pinch it every time. I'm starting to think its an apple copyright thing because it makes no sense why even GMAIL does not have pinch to zoom at this point in its career. No K9 breaks the html to fit in the window thats it. The emails look even worse.
Hi all ...Just wanted to know is there a way to convert my windows 8 to android?

This question has been asked all the way back to the WP7 days and has been duplicated on this forum.. This is NOT possible. Your only option is to just buy an Android phone.
The main key is unlock bootloader, until we found it, i think it's almost impossible. Just my opinion.

So you installed and counted ALL the apps from WP marketplace and decided the count is just too small?
Samsung just did it with a new convertible laptop/tablet named Ativ Q. Seems that they could run Android on a VM over Windows 8. You can even put an android app link on the windows 8 desktop. Search it on youtube.

You don't need to count apps. Try to find a Google plus app or a good app.net app. Not possible. You have to go with webapps.
I'm very disappointed with WP8. It feels like Microsoft has already given up the platform and only Nokia is keeping it alive.

Anyone have any luck with any EWS clients? I've been using AquaMail, which works well, but is tough on the battery. It must be an OWA or EWS compatible app. The reason for this is, any Activesync app causes my companies security policies to ban my email access because I do not have Maas360 installed. I refuse to install Maas360 and give my company that much access to my personal phone. Also, it wont work with my device being rooted. I would also prefer the app handles email like AquaMail does. Thanks for any recommendations.
I wish there was a way to make NineMail work, that app is excellent.

I just recently installed the exchangesservices.apk and it runs through my GMail app. Works fine, no issues. I used this one here and just installed like normal.
Thanks @palosjr. Does your work email have extensive security features? Ill try it and see how it works for me. How do you stay on top of app updates? Thanks.

We are pretty locked down... our IT department is tough when it comes to permissions and such.
Normally I just keep a look out on reddit.com/r/android and when I see that an update for Play Services has been released, I look into it and see what it entails.

Unfortunately, this did not work. I got it installed and setup. Got my emails synced and bam! Blocked by Maas360. My experience has shown me that if the app doesn't access email via OWA or EMS, I will get blocked. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Have you tried CloudMagic? I think they use owa

Best is always samsung stock for me. It can show my company contacts name company position numbers etc. There ia no app can do that. And colored signature.
I tried boxer (cm mail app now), cloudmagic, nine, gingermail. None of them work likw i want it to. If your company have office 360 work you can use Microsoft app ews outlook. Ita really nice and themed like windows phone.
Just happened to come across this post in a Google search and hoping someone could ban the following spammers that posted above..
The OP specifically said no ActiveSync apps and specifically not Nine (which uses ActiveSync). CloudMagic / Newton Mail is a SpyWare / email harvesting application that collects your mail on their servers.

Any particular preference here. Only difference I see is that Samsung's allows videos to play in preview form.
(btw neither will play videos in original form beyond :10sec...which I knew but it's the same if using YouTube or Google Links.
Sucks
Ive been using Textra for the past year or so. I did try Samsung's for a little bit when I first got the phone but ended up going back to Textra. The stock Android one is pretty terrible, IMO.

I like the interface, the customizability, and the fact that it doesn't break long messages up. There's probably a slew of others that I'm not aware of too.

Next sms....best popup in the business. IMHO.
Between the two, I prefer Android. Admittedly, it's mostly because I can send more pictures per message. I send a ton of messages to my parents of my kids, etc. It also works better (imho) with Google Assistant.

Why do you say that? The only thing I see that separates VZW messages + is it works/syncs with your other VZW devices. I used it for a while with my tablets and watches. Also it was one of the very few apps that allowed scheduling texts. But also one of the few that didn't allow blocking texts. I don't use it anymore. Dumped it for Sammy messages app. I really enjoy the Bixby integration.

I think it also does things like suggest emojis for predictive text, if you want to be one of the kewl kids. I thought it was sort of interesting at first, but at my age the kids would just roll their eyes

I say this because I like it better than Samsung's offering. I don't care about blocking texts, as I don't find myself in the need for something that does that. I've also found that it works a lot more quickly on my Note 4. I always had a bit of lag with the Samsung messenger.
And I do love the integration with other devices. I have it installed on all of my computers, tablets, etc. It works well on any device.

Personally i use Samsung. I use digits, and with the built in integration between dialer, digits, rcs, and their app moving away and using something else breaks how well it works for me.

Before I switch to Galaxy Note 9, I used iTunes to backup my iPhone or send files from PC.
Then I'm confused while I'm trying to find the similar official tool on Samsung's website.
I still remember there was a software called Kies that works fine when I was using Galaxy Note 2, and I have it installed on my PC.
The problem is that Kies seems outdated, it dones't work with Note 9 at all.
Am I using Kies in a wrong way? Or is there another official tool that I don't know yet?
---Update---
It seems like Samsung separate those functions into multiple products.
And finally I found a solution:
Backup: Samsung Smart Switch
File transfer: Samsung Flow
Sync: OneDrive (Didn't find Samsung's official tool. So I choose Microsoft's official one.)

Sounds like you're after Google backup and drive. Samsung are just a maker of android phones. Unlike Apple, you have an operating system that does a bunch of stuff then the manufacturer puts some stuff on top.
Most of what you are after is built into the os.

It looks like what I want. But bad news is that SideSync in Google Play is not compatible with Note 9. Also on its website, it says that SideSync is not available for the S9/S9+, as well as Note 9. But I will try it with an apk file anyway.
