Downgrade for MM 6.0.1 Binary By Pass - Binary 3 - Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime / J7 On NXT (Exynos7870)

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE ANY PART OF THIS ROM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
Attention
The rom and the bootloader provided in this topic and to be used in a device where the Bootloader Binary has been changed to 3, devices where the binary has not been altered that is in Binary 1 or 2, it is not necessary to use these files to Downgrade. If you use and come, there is an error such as: Loss of IMEI, Battery Bug, Super Heating, Boot Random. I am not responsible for any errors caused by user error or misuse.
Instruction:
1º Download the most recent version of Odin or it can be the version also v3.10.
2nd Download the files needed to downgrade.
3º Open Odin, and in the AP put the file with the name (bootloaderDowngrade.tar) of the start to start the procedure. The unit will restart by itself. Go back in download mode again and in AP put the file (DowngradeMM6.0.1Binario.tar) of the start again leaves until the device restarts normally.
Note: The first start of it may take 5 to 10 minutes.
4º After the procedure is finished, the phone will restart with ROM STOCK MM 6.0.1, NO ROOT and NO MODIFICATION (ROM IS FACTORY). However this procedure did not allow updating by OTA, because in this procedure the Binary will still continue with B3 and file is with binary combination. But when installing any other ROM STOCK when passing them on ODIN, just do not put the Bootloader of 7.0 or 8.1.0 in the BL option. Only use the stock files as standard AP, CP and CSC.

And how can I root and repair my imei with binary 3?

This method you do not lose the imei, this file and the original stock, it is only with the combination of binaries so you can downgrade. Now if you've lost the imei for another reason. I do not know if you do this procedure, your IMEI will return.

To recover the imei by z3x, you have to use the last version and the box .... and this method that is in the topic. after the procedure you can put root in it without problems, this rom supports root like any other rom.

After the "Pie system" we go back to the "Marshmallow system"? Why and for what reasons?

Friend did you read the topic? Because I made it clear that it is for those who have the Binary 3. That I did not allow to go back to Stock I am not referring to the custom rom. A rom AOSP PIE is not stocked. Sorry, but in your question there is no link to the topic.

not the problem is not the rom, is that as I already have the BL with binary 3 I am left in a boot restart, until not return to flash the stock rom.

My device is with Binario 3 and the procedure works without anything with 6.0.1 or 7.0. If you follow the procedure correctly the phone does not have a random loop.

You can use root supersu or magisk, there is nothing different about rom. It is a stock like another from Samsung but with the combination of binaries.

could you pass me some root method? I tried installing twrp and cf auto root and it appeared '' recovery not seandroid function ''

Sorry, I just saw that it really is not allowing root, due to the binary signature. I will try to find a solution !!!

I already mentioned Odin and the I tried 30.7 and the previous versions
no, Odin is a tool for flashing files to your phone.
What are you flashing?
Use this method as it's pain free.
Why use this Root Method? Well the main reasons are:
- You have a complete Odin Flashable ROM Package.
- No Insecure Kernels are used or required.
- You can flash these packages on Non-Rooted devices
- The Binary Flash Counter will NOT increase when flashing these ROM Packages.
- The Red Exclamation Mark will NOT appear at boot up.
- And finally, you only have to flash one file in Odin and you have a complete firmware including Root Permissions.
What Root Package is used in these ROMs?
- Busybox 1.20.2 (Newer ROMs)
- SuperSU 0.99 (Newer ROMs)
Previously released ROMs may have an older Busybox and SuperSU package installed.

No, you must upgrade to the marshmallow bootloader and unlock that one by following the directions in hsbadr's other thread. Then you flash the Stock Restore in Odin.
So i have a developer edition, can i just odin this and go? or do i have to install and unlock a bootloader as well? root/unlocking took so long i didnt keep up.
Is the safe upgrade PD1 rom is Pre-rooted.

It probably isn't, since it's not a custom ROM but just a set of Stock firmware files.

The only time you guys can flash directly any MM ROM is when you already on MM Unlocked bootloader and rooted. If you are on 5.1.1 Unlocked and rooted, you have to follow the OP instructions, doesn't matter if you have retails or Dev Edition.
And here we go.
Anyone have any recommendations on how to backup my Android install before I flash this?

Are you rooted? You should be able to backup in recovery if you are.
This won't replace Recovery, right?

The first link goes to the BPA1 download. I didn't notice, and ended up waiting about 30 minutes for it to download before I saw it .
This method is exclusively for Developer Editions, right? Retail users have to follow the steps listed in this thread? Otherwise both methods get users to CPD1?
Never mind, I see it says Retail/Dev in the thread title...
Missing Applications Manager?
So I went through this process twice, the first time because wifi wasn't working and the application manager (Settings -> Application) was missing.
On the second shot, wifi was working again, but I'm still missing the app manager.
Where I expect Applications, I see Application Settings (the part where you can set the default program, etc.)
Did this happened to anyone else?
Anyone have a fix for this?
I have a developer edition Note 4 and am currently on 4.4.4 ANJ5. If I upgrade to CPD1, can I safely downgrade to any prior release (4.4, 5.0, 5.1, etc.)?
Would I follow the same process as going from 4.4 to 5.1 and vice versa?
I've found that I like 4.4 better than any of the 5.0 ROM's, but I want to try 6.0 now that it is out.
Thank in advance for your help!
I'm curious as anyone been able to root this.

If you unlock it and install twrp, you can try flashing SuperSu then. But if you root the stock rom it might not boot, that was the case with LL. Had to flash custom kernel.

If you use the Jasmine ROM v6.0.1 by hsbadr - which is almost like stock MM - you can get root. Jasmine ROM has the custom Multisystem kernel for MM to root.

I did, but not with the Applications manager. After going ODIN back to 5.1.1, unlocking and upgrading the bootloader and then applying the MM Safe upgrade, twice, I got wifi, but not Applications manager.
I ended up using the full firmware found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...mware-firmware-kernel-modem-recovery-t2942937 and just flashing straight to 6.0.1.
I don't have root, a locked boot loader, complaints about dm-verity and DRK in recovery mode, but I have a working MM with Wifi and Applications manager and Android Pay.
I'm happy at the moment, thanks for the help.

I'm using same firmware and baseband as mentioned in first post, i didn't tried your firmware because there is userdata partition inside of archive and i don't want to delete my data, at least before i root my phone and make good backup
Please help with root.
Edit: root works with adb after installing patched image

1. Odin @diart firmware
2. Odin diar-uca_root.zip

I got same "unauthorized actions has been detected" notice like you, but fail to add root with chainfire supersu. Trying all one click root fail too. Can you help to describe your step?

Ah, ic.
Still cannot root my phone even with other rooting tools (not try furious gold chimera yet, doesn't have it). But thanks for you @diart & @zogu anyway. you two give us hope that there's any possibility to root our AT&T S6 Edge phone.
Can someone tell me how to do it, please?
Boot image from first post is engineering boot image and it should works with all 6.0 firmwares.
I'm new to samsung, but i read that with this image is possible to remount system rw. Well on AT&T is impossible.
It is impossible to root phone with this image, but we can do a lot of useful things using adb, disable aps with pm disable, we have full access to data partition, making backups etc...
Actually i don't need root at all, i hate branding (specially if that includes some services, like at&t mail, phonebook...) on any device and i want to change firmware to some international.
All this is maybe possible with eng sboot. There is online available for 12 usd and this is not expensive, but i'm still not shure will i be able to change sboot to 925f.
Theoretically it should boot any kernel and recovery without even tripping knox, and maybe with this image is possible to install twrp, kernel, root and everything else. But also sometimes everything does not work (i read that with eng sboot fingerprint sensor does not work, it probably skip keys reading, without keys no fingerprint).
If someone is able to get sboot pj1 or pf1, please send me PM
P.S. One good thing with this eng boot is that my network selection menu has much more bands, even when i restored stock kernel. Don;t konow how, but it is there

Just rename from md5 to tar. File name should be sm-g925a_uca_601.tar, flash it using odin (AP) and that's it.

Is any way to get OTA updates so that the root is preserved? Even if there TWRP will be broken, the main thing is to keep the root access.
Can i not downgrade my phone to android 7 and just unlock the bootloader? or is it necessary to downgrade it? i have nokia 5 android 8.1 btw..

I downgraded my android to 7.1, then unlocked the bootloader. Problem is how to run that twrp, i renamed it to recovery.img and copied it to the ADB file, is this correct? or should i just type the command "flash recovery recovery.img"? and after downloading the oreo update zip in the last part, in what file should i put it in?
thanks in advance to anyone who will reply

Do I needed to format data for this?
Can you install viper4android from xda labs on stock android 10 with magisk.
Install viper4android, reboot and recheck magisk to see if it still works.
Cuz for Android 9, the moment I install any magisk modules and reboot, the magisk breaks and I have only partial root access ( root access given to apps before still works but access to newer apps doesn't)
Also what do you mean by open stock recovery folder? You mean stock rom we download from samfirm

yes, when you download the stock rom from samfirm, it becomes a folder with your stock .tar.md5 files inside, that's your stock rom folder I speak of. I do not know if it works for 9. give it a try and let us know. I have 10 and once you update, you cant downgrade due to samsungs fuse set.
FYI, you can remove the .md5 from the stock rom files for faster loading but odin wont check the integrity of the file.
also, did you know that viper is Los based? other custom roms base off of Los so just replace Los in the guide with the rom of your choice. should work but I don't know, I only stick with Los or Stock.

good morning friend I did all the steps you told me and it remains in the lineage logo I believe that the Roms you sent me is from an A705FN and my model is an A705MN that is why it does not configure because it stays in the logo and then it restarts me in twrp

my model is a705mn as it says in my signature below, your missing a step somewhere, did you format data properly? I flashed my device while writing the steps then again following the steps. also, I didn't post any stock roms and the los rom works with all a70 devices.
in twrp click wipe, then click format data and type yes and hit enter or the check on the keyboard.
when installing los, step 7 requires format data and step 9 requires format data so in the Los guide there will me format data done twice. these steps are for android 10 users, I have a guide for android 9 users that im transferring here but it will be some time. if your on android 9, pm me and ill link that guide to you, otherwise, try that format data or start from scratch by flashing the entire stock rom.

sorry excuse my friend so much but in the step of formatting what should I do or could you give me the steps to follow and sorry for so much inconvenience

as long as you haven't done anything else trying to get it running(if you have, start from scratch by flahing the entire stock rom using odin) otherwise, boot to twrp, click wipe, click format data, type yes and hit the check box in lower right corner, reboot.
if your on 9, use this guide, its a bit outdated but as I said im working on it.

Viper4android is not a rom
It's a sound driver
It's magisk module.
What I meant is can you install this magisk model or download viper4android v2.7.6.1 from xda labs, install, reboot and check if magisk is still functional on stock Samsung Android 10 rom.
Also isn't android 10 and android 9 bootloader of Samsung rom same... V5 bootloader? Why would it mess with downgrading.?

Just assumed it was a rom, my apologies. I will check that for you when i have time but ive tested many modules with magisk and they work as well as magisk. Android 10 was an overhaul, not the same rom as 9 but still V5, however, thats not really the issue other then for twrp. Samsung devices has a fuse set, when a samsung devices bootloader is upgraded, the device trips or as we say "burns" out a fuse. The device can not be downgraded. After an update from 9 to 10, if you power off, hold both vol keys and plug into pc, in download mode at the top will tell you if a fuse has been triggered and provisioned. This means you cant go from 10 back to 9.

Thank you. Please do report back with viper4android. It's proper working with magisk is critical for me.
I understand your explanation about e-fuse.
But then that last android 10 upgrade that had this charging pcb issue, people did downgraded back successfully to Android 9 then.
How did they do that if e-fuse got triggered?
Lets leave this argument here.
I don't want to sidetrack you from your twrp and root work for Android 10.
Please tell me how to delete img files from the AP file
Or do I just need to replace img files with lz.4 files

No one with a galaxy A70 has updated to Android 10 stock and then went back to Android 9 stock. Viper worked fine and i kept root.

Extract the contents of AP file using peazip into a new folder on your desktop. Name the folder AP. Inside the new folder will be the files you need to delete or move out depending on what guide you following. When youve made the necessary changes, repack that new folder with peazip into a .TAR and now its flashable. Do not worry about the .lz4 extension. To delete, as long as its not zipped, right click the file, choose delete. To move the file, right click and hold, drag and drop to wherever and choose move here.
Fyi everyone, ill be making some youtube videos of the instructions for newbies by end of the week. It will have start to finish including bootloader unlock.

no,youll be using twrp to root stock 10 this method allows you to keep root and use modules. twrp does not work with android 10 stock due to some changes in 10. it does however work with custom roms. you can either have twrp, custom rom and magisk root or have stock rom and magisk root.
