I just got a note 9 and I connected it to my radio an Alpine i209-wra and it allows for voice command. I had a pixel xl and it worked fine when I hit the mic button but now with the note 9 it doesn't. Do I need to do something in settings or is it bixby or what? Any Help is greatly appreciated.

I just have a quick question.. and hopefully the answer is quick as well..
I have a Galaxy Note 4 and a Dell XPS 13 early 2015 model. Both have bluetooth so I thought I would use the laptop speakers as speakers for the note 4, but when I paired the devices up, there's no settings for audio...
All I can do is transfer files and like remotely control the note 4 with my computer.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Based on the google research I did regarding my problem, it seems like it is possible, and rather simple. Am I missing a driver or something?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
tried the same thing with my M4800 and nothing worked. I guess the laptop is missing the profile to act as a bluetooth speaker.
Hello,
Trying to find a way to connect two different bluetooth speakers same time, find in developers options could be change to 3, but no luck, in android pie should be option for duo setup, like is in samsung s9, but missing in p20 pro. Anyone can help or give advice how to make it work? Many thanks.
Since some of recent updates I lost the voice control over my Parrot bluetooth car device. When I use my magic word PHONE or click the activation button of the Parrot, Note 9 screen shows 2 options - BIXBY and Google Assistant. And somehow does not return the command to the car device.
The calls work fine, but I used to make voice commands to make calls with voice commands.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Hello, I would like to know how can I activate the Wi-Fi Hotspot of my Note 8 (with Android Pie) when I get in the car (Bluetooth connection).
On Android 8.0 Oreo, I had it working with Tasker, but after updating it to Android Pie it doesn't work anymore.
:crying::crying::crying:
Any advices would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone!
Pixel 4a 5g, February 2022 update, both of my bluetooth earphones (Melomania Touch & Melomania 1+) work...but not the microphone. No problem with Android 11.
The microphone doesn't work with phone calls, WhatsApp, Signal etc., my phone only uses it's native microphone, not the bluetooth one.
Am I the only one?
Thanks for your help!

I have the same issue. I haven't been on xda for about 10 years so my phone is stock. I called Google and they couldn't figure it out. If you find anything please let me know! Thanks

Actually...it was working...it's just the Signal app on Android which doesn't use the bluetooth microphone.
