pop up message "check update" - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

Hello,
is there a solution to get rid of a pop up message "check update"?
I believe it has no function for this device but when clicking I suppose there is an install of perhaps uglie software.
I have checked it with Bitdefender and McAfee => no problem.
But it is very annoying, at random times it appears.
Thanks in advance for your answer.

[Q] Abnormal reset

My One Dev-ed 64 gb recently rebooted on it's own and when it came back up there was a notification circle on top with an exclamation mark. When I clicked on it, the message said: "There was an abnormal reset, do you want to tell HTC" This has happened about 4 times in three days. Any ideas?
Error Report abnormal reset ***after root
Having the same problem!!!
After rooted, there always is an "ERROR REPORT" after start up. It says "The phone just recovered from an abnormal reset".
Will this create any problem?

[Q] KNOX Notification manager problem

Hi,
few days ago I noticed a exclamation mark in a triangle (warning) in notification bar. It says "Security information - The device has detected an application attempting to perform actions that are not permitted ", when I click on it i have to options. Restart now and Restart later.
I googled and noticed few others have same problem. I tried holding notification, and delete cache and force stop KNOX notification manager, because it helped others. After 4-5 minutes however, notification was back. I even tried factory reset. Didn't help...
Next solution was to delete KNOX completly and when I tried to do it... KNOX wasn't even installed.
I find 3rd solution and in settings under security I unchecked Auto update security, because it helped a few Note 3 owners. Still nothing. After few minutes another notification.
At that point I ran out of options so if anyone got a solution I would really appriciate it.
There were a few solution, but all required rooted phone, and my S3 isn't rooted and never was.
cheers!

[Q] Software upgrade???

I was in the car and I needed to hurry up, and when I unlocked my screen a window popped up, having the title "Software Upgrade" and when I read it, it said "Your software needs to be upgraded in 30 days. Upgrade it now or after 30 days has passed" and I had the choice of picking Cancel or Upgrade, but as I was hurrying up, I chose "Cancel" and now I don't know if it was an application that had to be upgraded or my phone's system??? The apps I am using are WhatsApp and Viber, did the message come from one of them? I can't believe now that I canceled it..
