Is the colour if the S Pen visible from the outside of the phone?

My Grey note 2 came without an S Pen, and T mobile said it will take up to 10 days to send me one. But looking at what is available to pre order on sites atm, it could end up being white. Will this matter?
Is there a faster way to get an S Pen that I could keep as a spare once mine comes from T mobile?
Thanks.

I`m asuming you mean T-mobile in the UK as the usa does not have the Note 2 but Just say there is something wrong with your note and have it swapped out and the new one should have a S-pen
No it doesn't as the chrome Samsung logo is the first thing seen when the s-pen is pulled out as it extends about a inch until some color is seen
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Ok thanks.
Yeah I'm in the UK, the Note 2s are out of stock atm so I thought it would be quicker to jyst get the pen. You can get them from South Korea on Ebay, so I might try one of the more expensive delivery options.

You can buy a spen for the note 1. as you can see, it s smaller and rounded but not as good as the spen for the note 2 (subjective).

Yes. The phone is invisible and you will be able to see everything.

Screen not fitted properly?

Hi guys,
Looking at my phone closely I see that the left side is close together with the chassis but on the right side there is more separation and not close together. What I mean is the black surrounding the screen.
Is this normal?

Mine is like that as well. I remember reading a while back that quite a few people have experienced this where one side has a reasonable gap. You could try getting it swapped?

I've contacted Sony, let's see what they say.

Just realised mine is like this too, only a tiny bit on the top right corner. I wouldn't have even noticed if I didn't see this thread, but doesnt bother me too much - or would it cause probelms etc? Bit annoying that Sony always seem to have something wrong with 50% of their phones & then the other 50% is fine =/
Anyone else?

What? I never mentioned anything about the glass??& I can clearly see the shatterproof protector is nowehere connected to the edge
Ive contacted them, they told me to go to the shop. Will let you guys know!
Anyone else???
Out of curiosity, what manufacturer is your screen? Refer to this thread for how to check. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182432&highlight=screen+manufacturer
Mine is from Sharp and appears to be 100% perfectly symetrical
I'm getting my mobile replaced. The guy on the shop never seen a z like this.
I'm not root and I don't feel like doing experiments, I'm going to send the phone next week.
Enviado desde mi C6603 usando Tapatalk 2
The top right part on mine seemed to be like this, but after a closer inspection it seems only the shatterproof film is not fitted edge to edge. The glass panel itself seems to be ok.
The gaps on all sides of my phone look equal in width.

You don't need to root to see what display you have. Go to page 21 in the thread listed above. There's an app a guy has made you can download that shows you.

Fingerprint sensor

Hello everyone!
I found something interesting with the fingerprint sensor today, so I thought I share it.
I held the phone upside down swiped down with my registered fingers and they got recognised!
All the fingers I registered got recognised.
Not only that it recognised much better!
So I re-registered all my prints while the phone is held upside down, so when in correct orientation, the fingers will be recognised even better!
So much happier. Love my Note 4. [emoji16]

I like the way a device which we paid a lot makes us turn upside down to work as it should. You should not be happy about it IMHO ☺ though I can count meself happy owning this device, I regret not getting an ip6 from time to time.

Ip6? Booooo. With 5.1.1 hopefully our beast phone can be a beast again! From the looks of Russian 5.1.1 review (YouTube) it doesn't have any new features apart from performance improvement. But still good!
Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
That's interesting I'm gonna test that on my N910C.
Lol. This actually works. U can swipe pretty quick and it still registers! Wtf! Lol. But this is pretty neat discovery. Basically u just hold the phone upsidedown while u register fingers. Thats only one timr thing.
Then u can use it normally when u unlock.
Thanks for this thread. Very helpful.
I've been a, "it always works for me" person when people complain about the fingerprint scanner. I didn't thought it was people not doing it right.
I just tried this and, wow! It really does make it better. I barely even had to touch the scanner with my finger.
Guys, did you try to use a non-registered finger when unlocking? lol just a thought

It is what it is, 6 inch is never small and the camera is OK with sufficient light. Better look for the new 5X. its smaller and has a better camera.

In answer to your question, personally, yes I think the Nexus 6 is still a good option. As a matter of fact, I just bought a Google Motorola Nexus 6 (2014) off Amazon.com last month (December 2015) for $250 + Tax and I love it. I know the camera isn't the best, there's NO fingerprint scanner, and its only 32-bit instead of 64-bit like the Nexus 5x, but for me, the overall performance, the QHD screen, front facing speakers, VoLTE (especially for T-Mobile), stock android with timely android updates and more makes for a really cool phablet. And I mean phablet, this phone is big, but not as big as my previous daily driver the Huawei Ascend Mate 2. Hope my answer helps.

Do keep in mind, my Nexus 6 is rooted running stock rom and I use greenify, so my battery life is good for me, I have the notification LED (have to root and buy an app to get), I use Nova Launcher with double tap to sleep through an app. It's all in what you want in a smartphone and more so, what you don't want. To me, this time around on buying a new smartphone, it was simple, it had to be a Nexus. With my budget, it came down to the Nexus 6 vs Nexus 5x. I feel like I made a good choice especially for the money, but I haven't used the camera while sightseeing yet. It should be fine.

I just bought my Nexus 6 about 3 months ago. It was my first Nexus device, but even after this short anount of time I can say pretty firmly that I will never buy another phone that isn't a Nexus! Stock battery life on Marshmallow has been great compared to the Note 4 that I had before this. In addition, stock, unbloated Android is truly a work of art that you should experience at least one. Also, it is a big phone but you will definitely get used to the size after a few days. I'm not sure if Swappa is available in your country, but I got my Nexus 6 off of Swappa for $220 a few months ago. Worth every penny IMO and renewed my love of Android.

I love stock Android also. Have a S3 and that's all what I want. A stock Android. What is really stopping me from buying a Nexus 6 is the size . If fit in my pockets that will not be a problem. I have a 4,8' phone and I really wanted a big phone!

My 200$ N6 may be.
Only defects are poor grade AMOLED display(not a expression. it's a cheap module.) and finishing.

Visually impaired and Vr?

Anyone tried? Samsung has a program for visually impaired. I have only 20% vision on my left eye and my feild of vision is also very small. Should be great to know if simeone tried.
Kind regards

I'm presbyopic, meaning cannot see well close up.
Unfortunately when I tried the VR setup it insisted resetting all settings to make things larger, then I couldn't see the screen at all when used as phone. So cannot use the VR headset
