As the Title says I'm consistently getting a "USB Device not Recognized" error when I plug My SGA GT-S5830D in while in Download mode only. I've tried removing drivers and reinstalling every USB driver for my phone I could find with Windows 8 and no luck. I need download mode as i'm going to upgrade my phone and need to get it back to stock to trade it in. Any ideas? is there a way to reflash a stock rom and recovery with out ODIN? ARGGGGG!!!!

Great! I'm glad you've solved your problem
USB device not recognised error appears everytime, with every usb cable on every port. Phone is 100% working, comp 100% working, Windows 10. Am I have older version of Windows? What's the problem, it's so annoying I want to flash stock firmware and cannot do it due to this stupid bug.
Use another computer
So on my One, it is bootlooped so when i go onto TWRP and plug in my USB (connected to my computer) nothing happens, i have tried multiple USB's which work with other devices. Any ideas ?
Thanks

Connect the phone to your PC, then head to the "Android System" on your silent notifications, find "Charging this device via USB", tap on it and you'll be taken to the USB page, then tap on "File Transfer"

i tried to connect type c handfree with it but not working.
Sounds like your port is broken, might need a replacement.

if it's broken, why it's doing full turbo change on default cable.
