I was using my note to control my Google TV when it restarted. It stuck at the first splash screen, the black and white one before the Samsung boot animation. Restarting the phone either by holding the power button or pulling the battery has no effect. I booted to stock recovery and wiped the cache to see if that helped, but it didn't. And now I can't boot to recovery, it just restarts when it gets to the recovery screen now. I can still boot to download, and seeing as the symptoms looked similar to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034859 I copied what he did and used Odin to flash the stock rooted gingerbread rom from the toolbox by dr.ketan http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801341. The flash succeeded, but it still won't boot, and now I can't even get to the recovery screen, but download mode still works.
I'm not sure what to do, should I try and flash an unrooted GB rom?
BTW, I was using a rooted stock JB rom XXLSA before this went wrong, and I hadn't installed anything that day. Also, I hadn't noticed until today but although there is no yellow triangle the download mode has a count of 1, is there a way to fix this if I need to send it back?

Flash a gb rom with odin.. And Triangle away app will reset the flash counter in download mode
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Its worth trying a GB rom which has WIPE written next to it from Dr Ketans thread. install using odin a see what happens
Not sure what fixed it, but it's working now.
I just left it plugged in to the mains on the boot screen and it eventually booted up into the stock GB rom, and now the recovery mode works. If I try flashing the XXLSA again it locks up still, not sure why, but it won't boot. I've gone back to using CM10.1 nightlies as I was before trying the stock JB, and that is working as well as can be expected.
I was on CM11 / android 4.4.4 and I've wanted to flash a custom kernel. The only one which I found to be compatible is NayakKernel.I downloaded it on my phone and I've flashed it by PHLIZ recovery, everything was fine until I rebooted,I saw that the screen was red and green and the DPI was set to 500 or more. Now the touchscreen works and the display has the same problem.Im sure that this is a software problem because when I boot my phone the kernel is image appears with normal colors. The problem is that I cant enter in recovery and I cant flash the stock firmware via flashtool because when the flashing process starts my phone automatically reboots showing the charging battery. But Im able to enter flash mode or fastboot. Please guys help I really need this phone :crying:
HI! My D5833 was with cyanogenmod but I want the stock rom, so flashed with flashtool and everything went fine but the phone now is stuck in a loop with three red light blinks (dead battery, but I flash with 100% battery) any ideas how can I use the phone again??
When that happens flashing stock with flashtool usually fixes the problem. Considered your are writing in the wrong forum, are you sure you flashed the correct firmware? Also if you have a backup check wipe userdata in flashtool when flashing
i have an htc desire 626ph model: 0PM1100
I downloaded an official update thru ota but when i installed it The system was wiped and it kept bootlooping into recovery.
So i tried to flash a new system with sp flashtool, i downloaded The right firmware and flashed it. everything went fine it gave a green check but when i tried on The phone it gave me nothing but a black screen.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
Extra information:
When i charge The phone it gives red led light.
I can reflash it with sp flashtool (tried but black screen again)
My computer recognizes it and i can access The files but it still has a black screen
It acts as if everything is fine screen timeout works but with a black screen
Hi... I was using custom ROM and decided to revert to stock rom. Downloaded a package from one of the forums and tried flashing it. After that mobile stuck at Yu yureka screen. It falls into bootloop. Am unable to to get into recovery mode or bootloader. Seems bootloader locked while flashing stock rom.
Only red notification light blinking while charging. While pressing volume down + power button, it shows boot into ffbm and restarts again. :crying:
Any help is appreciated.
