canbus for kia sportage - MTCB Android Head Units General

hi everyone
last week i bought an canbus with harnas cables of hyundai/kia , i connected all cables an canbus with my universal android car unit, it works fine, exept the canbus still disconnected, and i tried to setup in factory setting and it display : no canbus.
is anyone had same problem? can anyone help me to resolve this issue ?

Hi,
which canbus and harnas have you bought? As you are talking about a universal android car unit, are you sure your canbus is connected to the headunit? Maybe you have a pinout of your unit? Normaly I would expect there should be two cables between the canbus adapter and the unit called something like CanRX and CanTX.
Beside of this, you have to select inside the factory setting the correct canbus adapter.
Ciao

Anyone know this unit? Need some help before purchasing..

Hi! The unit is listed at Autopumpkin, but I can`t make external links yet, need 10 posts.. Search for SKU: CN03-03101B-US-A to find it.
I want to use it in my 2007 Skoda Octavia, and according to Autopumpkin it should fit (I sent pictures..) The big black power and speaker connector seems to be the same as the original unit, which is a Blaupunkt Nexus.
I`ve already asked a few questions to Autopumpkin, and got some answers, but there are still a few things that I need to know. I want to replace the original roof antenna with one that has DAB, FM and 3G, like partnumber 6R0035501D. Many to be found on eBay. I think I found the necessary cable for FM, with white female FAKRA connectors in each end. There are two white male FAKRA connectors on the head unit , I guess one is FM, don`t know what the other is. I think the antenna has red FAKRA female connector for 3G, I don`t know what the head unit has? Maybe one of the three SMA female connectors? I can read "Wifi" on one of them, but can`t read the other two. There are also two white multi pin connectors on the head unit that I don`t know what is used for.
I want to get the DAB+ module. FM is shutting down soon here in Norway, and this is the main reason for replacing the original head unit. I can`t see from the picture what antenna connector is on the DAB+ module , maybe SMB female? I think the roof antenna has a black FAKRA female connector for DAB. The antenna also has GPS, but some say it is better to use the enclosed GPS-antenna?
Not sure how the roof-antenna is powered. I can`t see any extra lead for power. If it is phantom powered from the radio I guess this must be done externally, or does the head unit provide phantom power on the antenna connector(s) ?
If anyone has an installation manual, or some other useful information on installation or issues with this head unit it would be great!

Usb-C to 3.5mm aux not working

Hi,
My car has a 3.5mm aux port which I'd like to connect my p20 pro so that I can listen to Spotify. I've purchased a usb-c to 3.5mm cable but I can't get it working. It just plays all the audio through the phone. I know I can get Bluetooth adapters etc but I don't understand why this solution isn't working.
I don't know if this makes a difference but I'm not using the adapter that came in the box, I'm using a single 3.5mm to usb c cable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

My phone came with an adapter in the box, which works fine.
My old unbranded one does not work.
I've purchased a genuine Huawei one, and that also works.
The Huawei one I bought was only £4.50 on Amazon.
i bought the razer one of amazon and that works well. i've used one that came off an Essential phone and that also works well...only trouble is that my p20 tells me i'm not using genuine adapters, even when i actually do

Have you tried some 3.5mm headphones, or just the cable to the car? Maybe it's that lead that's not working?

HELP PLZ

This is a Joying for a vw. Running android 8.
There is two usb connections at the back. Left and right.
The one marked 2.o (left one looking at the front) works with the DAB adapter and Zlink Apple car play. All is good.
Q1:
If i connect to the right usb the iphone then zlink wont connect. Why? (Im assuming its USB1.0) Can I use one of the zjinnova adapters to get carplay on this usb port?
Q2:
If i connect the DAB adapter to the right usb it works but the sound stutters enough for it to be annoying to listen to.
Anything i can do to help this? Im assuming its a data speed issue.
Q3:
Any tips on getting both DAB and Apple carplay to work?
Regards Kurt

CANBUS not working?

Hi all, i have bought a Chinese Android Head Unit for my Skoda, everything seem to work fine, except for the Steering Wheel Controls and all the other info (Open/Closed Doors, RPM, Outside temp and so on) are not showing in the Unit. Changing the Canbus Protocols doesn't have worked, the cables are well connected (The CANBUS too) but i'm starting to think that maybe some other cables needs to be connected, like the two cables in the picture below. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
the two cable do not need to be connected. But you probably missed the white connector that can be seen on the left side of the picture. I expect this cable used by canbus box to comunicate wuth your Head Unit. The other end should be connected to the canbus box connector.

So, the White connector in the picture, need to be connected in the Head Unit? Because the other end it's already connected on the canbus box.
Yes, the white connector has to be connected in the Head Unit.
