Biggest difference is the network bands that are being used.
The 03 seems to be for EU/America's and the 33 seems to be for Asia.

Yup, I would have bought one in a heartbeat. Doesn't seem that dual sim is that popular in the US, but I'd use it to keep work and personal line on the same phone.

It's not that it won't work
It's just that some Asian bands aren't supported by the 03 version.

Z3 Dual ( sim ) model: D6633. D6643 support Digital TV service.
Z3 Compact has only 1 sim variants
Hello, so I'm interested in buying the Z3C from Clove, the D5803 model and I"m from India.
I've read that the only problem will be that I won't be able to use 4G.
So otherwise everything will work on Indian networks? Internet, calling, 3G??

Apparently the difference is in the 3g and 4g Bands.
Also the D5833 is the only one to have TD-LTE which is popular in Asia (According to wikipedia) So i'm guessing 5833 is the asian model and the other is the "rest of the world" model.

Thanks. Yeah, I read something about that.
I'm just wondering if I can use that model in Asia. Cause that's the only model available in Clove and that site has lowest price by far compared to any other online store. So I was just wondering if I could use the D5833 model in Asia.

If you are buying fro Clove because of the price difference please be aware that in most likelihood you will have to pay customs duty which will pretty much match up the price you will pay for it in India. I bought the D5833 model with the Indian LTE band from USA. My friend bought it for me and is now in Kerala. Waiting for him to courier it to me.

Alright, thanks for the warning. Although I checked using the duty calculator they provide and it says I have to pay around 4,000 to customs. That still makes it a lot lower than the Indian retail price. Although I'm not 100% sure it's accurate

I agree. However, given that the phone is already selling in india at a much higher rate and if the customs guys have any idea about its selling price in India, I would think that they would tax it to equate your invoice with the selling price in India. I'm not certain on this though. But there is indeed a chance. This is not discourage you. The phone is now available from ebay.in for 39990 with full sony india warranty.

Nobody knows, waiting on the same thing, right now some stores in china are selling a "international version" of the phone but is the same phone just with CM12.1 and only have the LTE bands supported in china, not the ones we use in USA, so unless they release a US specific version LTE will not work on the US.
I tired to contact ZUK sales to confirm the bands, but no reply from them.
zuk.hk only shows chinese bands, but I can't believe they would release a phone to international markets without proper bands. That would be like shooting their own legs.
The chinese version would work for me though, only "semi-needed" band would be 4G band 20 (800MHz), which is quite new in Finland and used mainly outside bigger cities. Price of Z1 though is a killer, even though it is not as high spec'd as OnePlus Two, it is still an upgrade for OPO with cheaper price tag...
The only spec that the OnePlus 2 has higher than the Z1 is the CPU, but I prefer a SD 801 way more than a SD810 and his heating problems

What I've heard is that SD810 doesn't heat so much with the OnePlus 2, but maybe that's because it's underclocked (or that's what I've heard).
Other than that, they are quite similar. OnePlus 2 has 1GB more ram in the 64GB version though, but who needs 4gigs in a phone, really.... =)
But for me, ZUK Z1 seems like a good choice with bigger battery, USB-C 3.0 and cyanogen os out of the box. If I would buy these phones now, it would be (in euros):
OnePlus 2: ~425eur (incl. shipment) ~476USD
ZUK Z1: ~293eur (incl. shipment) ~328USD

There are quite a few reviews out now from people in the states. I saw one from zdnet this morning. And another from android headlines. It looks like they tried testing the device on T-Mobile and att and lte was not supported. From what I gather they got early release test devices that were in fact the international variant. So it looks like no lte for the states which is a major deal breaker. Otherwise this would have been the perfect phone for me.

My only hope is that they are testing the Chinese version with the International software..
There is no point in selling the international version to the US if it misses lte bands altogether..
I also hope that the new Zuk coming in January with the new Snapdragon will support all bands...
Is it me or all these international /Chinese brands always build the almost perfect phone? They get so close and mess up on the important stuff...

I was thinking the same thing. However I don't think missing the mark is just limited to the Chinese for example. The blu xl that just got released would have been absolutely perfect had it not been for it being 6 inches and bigger than the nexus 6! It is everything the new moto x pure is plus a finger print sensor for 349 US. Why in the hell they would stick with the sweet spot that everyone else is going with between 5.2 and 5.7 inches in beyond me. But yes lots of companies so close to the perfect phone this year. I can live without NFC even though I would really like to use Android pay. But no lte in the US is an absolute deal breaker.

Another example of a smaller brand getting almost everything right with the blu xl.
Blu has tons of phones and for their international debut they bring out this size "monster"..

Most likely they did test Chinese version with CM12.1 installed (not Cyanogen OS). There's bunch of sellers on Aliexpress that provide this phone with CM12.1 or similar ROM inside and Google Play also.
Still no confirmed information from Lenovo, ZUK or whatever, which brands are included in the "international" model. I agree that Chinese bands are a huge showstopper for US, but mainly OK for EU. Some bands missing, but nothing huge.

I think it has cyanogenmod or the cyanogen os preview. Check the pics its not zui for sure as it has play store.

VoLTE is not a feature that sony will omit from the Hong Kong version, I think all the service provider in Hong Kong supports VoLTE, but have to wait for the release before I can confirm, it should be available on the 16th.

Hmm interesting........ I have NO desire for the dual-SIM, HOWEVER.......... if the dual-sim version comes with VoLTE, then I will most certainly be interested in it!! I found out that, at least with my carrier (T-Mobile, I live in the Chicago area in the U.S.), even though the XP has Band 12/700 MHz capability, because it doesn't have VoLTE (single-sim), it WILL NOT be able to utilize Band 12 for voice during phone calls, only the data portion can be used on Band 12 during a call. But with VoLTE, I'd be able to use Band 12 for voice too............which is important because my area is going to have it very soon! Band 12/700 MHz spectrum is very valuable b/c it can penetrate buildings much better than the higher bandwidths can, which means BETTER reception while indoors! :victory: Right now it doesn't matter, but in 6-8 months when we WILL have it, it will.

I'm still considering the X or XP, The X will be available on the 7th whiles the XP is on the 16th, I think I heard the shop say this, but can't confirm yet, but it is before mid of this month for both.
If I do get one it will be from a local chain store in Hong Kong, that way I can inspect the unit before hand for scratches, dead pixels and other cosmetic defect or problem, HK only has the dual sim version, the second sim is a hybrid sim/micro sd, but that isn't a problem as I can get them both working together.
Once either one is released I can check for you, about the VoLTE, but cannot check the bands.
Initial finding of the bands for XP and X are:
LTE FDD 700/800/850900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600
LTE TDD 1900/2300/2500/2600
WCDMA 800/850/900/1700/1900/2100

Yeah I've already confirmed the XP has Band 12/700 MHz capability, so don't worry about that. But getting a version of the XP that HAS VoLTE would be VERY important to me! I HATE it when other people around me can get reception indoors but I can't (it doesn't happen often, but it does happen). Having VoLTE would most likely eliminate this from happening the majority (if not ALL) the time.

HK expansys is likely to get the Hong Kong version, it's also a 64GB version, the only reason for not working in the US is the band, the band is 700, but there are various version of the 700 band, so not sure if this is the band 12.

Expansys US' own customer service people told me that they ONLY sell the international versions (unless otherwise noted). So I think the one you guys are getting will be the INTERNATIONAL version kms, but it'll be sold there in HK. Both the single and dual SIM versions of the XP (F8131 & F8132) have Band 12/700 MHz. So I don't see why it would be any different here vs. in Hong Kong to be honest with you.

If you can confirm the information is correct, then it's ok, extra internal memory is bettery, even 32Gb is getting slightly small these days, so the more the better.

Volte won't work unless sony actually certifies the process with the carriers they intend to have it with. Volte will not work like the z5 didn't.

Correct. Anything that has LTE bands and Android 5.0 and up has volte capabilities

So what do you think MGS? Get the XP with the best camera but can't utilize Band 12 for voice on a call (so can't benefit from its improved indoor reception advantage) & no HD Voice, or get the HTC 10 which still has a very good camera and has the Band 12/VoLTE/HD Voice advantage? Tough choice, for me anyway.

Ethically I'd say htc 10 as htc wants your money as they listen to their fans for the most part and go the extra mile supporting all carrier features. On the other hand I'm a big sony fan and enjoy the value of their hardware but let's be honest sony really doesn't care about us. They force us to buy international versions to get full features and gimp us phones without giving us legitimate reasoning. Have you ever talked to sony mobile support they are as clueless as we are.

The fact that HTC STILL sells their phones through all the major carriers is an advantage all its own. I can go onto T-Mobile's website and buy the HTC 10 RIGHT NOW if I wanted to.

But I am at wit's end here with all this hassle I have to go through to buy the d*mn thing, and then in dealing with the BS that comes with the actual phone. The int'l version is cheaper (yet better) and is coming out sooner than the U.S. version, so I don't really care about that. But this VoLTE thing really p's me off cuz I won't get the BEST reception with it even though I really should. Plus having to buy it unlocked is dumb too.

You'd have to purchase an international unlocked version from a website like clove.co.uk
When you check out there is an option for them to open the box and insert a local sim card to unlock the device for use in other markets.

Cool, thank you for clarifying. About the band, are you sure, people are reporting it has LTE band71? Also do we know which is better, the Snapdragon for the 8gb version or Exynos for 6gb? I guess there's only root for the exynos, but I haven't rooted in years and not sure I'll mess with it.

I know the US Qualcomm has Band 71,but,every site,including Samsung's sites in overseas Qualcomm markets,do not show Band 71.
Perhaps once the T-Mobile US SIM Card is installed,it's activated,if that's even possible,with or without flashing T-Mobile US Firmware...... & IDK if T-Mobile US Firmware can be flashed on an international Qualcomm model.
It's still early in the game, surely someone will post here @ XDA in the coming days.
I'd like to know myself, so that I'm armed with the information for next year's Note 10.
Canada has an unlocked black model that uses the same bands as the US. Not sure about band 71, but probably the closest you'd get compatibility wise.

Ah k. So does that mean even if I buy the 8gb 512gb unlocked version from say Best Buy in the US it won't have band 71? Otherwise it sounds like the ideal situation would be if the TMobile firmware can be flashed to the international model? I guess Im wondering, are all 512gb unlocked versions lacking that band or just ones not bought in the US like from Best Buy? I know I want the 8gb 512gb version, in black if possible, but if Im without band 71 I can deal with the stupid blue colored one as long as I have the 8gb/512gb version. I'm pretty sure the US Unlocked version has Band 71,it's just not available in Black,at least for now.

Ah k. So safest bet for the 512gb variant is either the US carrier/tmobile for quickest updates but stupid colors and bloatware or thee US unlocked for slower updates but less bloatware..? What's the argument to get an unlocked version over carrier otherwise? I guess the price for getting it in black is no 71 band. Agreed, I wish I could have purchased a black one without having to jump through all the hoops and risk it not working as well.
I've got the exynos 512/8 midnight black and I will be working in the USA for a few months. Wondering what network over there will be the best fit. Usually it's either T Mobile or ATT as they are GSM... But his band 71 gig means that I am effectively unable to use tmo 4g?

No,T-Mobile has Bands 2/4/5/12/66/71
Band 71 deployment is sparse at best ATM.
Most of T-Mobile users are covered in the rest.
Depending on where you plan to use your phone the most is going to dictate who works best for you.
There is a lot of overlap in most densely populated markets,if you're going to be in the sparsely populated areas AT&T is probably your best bet.
Try out this site,it should give you a good indication of which carriers are best for you:

Thanks. Yes I know they provide slower speeds to MVNOs over there. In Europe they dont really do this so pre paid is as quick as a contract sim. I am on Three UK and I can use my data (I have 100gb allowance per month) in the USA for free so will only be using the pre paid for receiving calls. I am therefore able to pick either T Mobile or ATT when I am over there depending which one is best etc.
Anybody able to order yet for international delivery? Trying to get one here in USA... aliexpress & other seem not to have any yet Even though on sale......

I bought a P30 pro, 256GB with a Huawei Watch GT (a "gift") , at 3.dk in Denmark for DKK 5.160 i.e. ~ $ 775 + ~$7 a month more than I used to pay for the network. It is to be delivered next week.
I know nothing about the version no., but hope it is European 432. Dual-sim should be included.
I have been quite happy with my P20 pro, but unhappy with slow very slow updates. But after a year of updates the camera i absolutely faboulous now, which it was not to begin with.
According to our DXO friends in France the P30 pro is the absolutely best on photografing, so I am looking forward to see if they are right there

So Amazon UK has it for pre-order with delivery by April 6... was able to place an order here in the USA... Funny enough, Amazon France has it as well but won't... I'll see if they scrap my pre-order but in my recent experience with the Xiaomi Mi 9, if the order is in, it charges ok and then its golden... fingers cross. Should get it before April 9th!!!!

It should go through. I ordered the Huawei super car charger from there and it said couldn't be delivered to the US. I got it a few days later. Already placed my order for the P30 pro from Amazon UK.

Mine in black arrived today and it is nice. Was able to get a 256GB / 8GB setup from an overseas contact for a little of a shipping premium. It's awesome. Worth getting however you can:good:

Just about all new phones but my daily recently was Mate 20 Pro. I can say without a doubt this is better and better then S10 and Xiaomi Mi 9 and Google Pixel 3 XL and Nokia 9

TMobile of course but yes no wifi calling since its not a phone available in the US even though I heard TMobile overseas has it as an offering. I haven't dig into that aspect to see if I can. I do know that you can always do the the Google voice workaround but really isn't a factor for me currently :angel:

I purchased mine from TechnoLec U.K. and got the unlocked Global / U.K. version for use in the USA. I did not get the best deal, but I didn't want to mess with some of the other people on eBay that seemed a little sketchy. These guys are authorized and they had 100% ratings. Hopefully it works out.

Can you confirm the phone has VOLTE on TMO US?
Place a call with wifi off and see if it still says 4g LTE.
Or download Network Cell Info Lite from playstore and go to the Device + Sim and see if VoLTE capable says "Yes".

I believe one is International (VOG-L29) and the other is U.K. (VOG-L09). The bands are the same. Th VOG-L29 is "hybrid dual SIM"
