Good day,
I have done a bit of searching on this topic and have not found an answer to a rather surprising issue.
I just got my GNote and have paired it with my Voyager Pro+ AD2P BT headset.
Much to my surprise even though calls and VLingo are routed to my BT headset I come to discover that event notifications are sent to BOTH the GNote's speaker AND my BT headset (with a slight delay\echo as a result).
This to me is not how it should be. All my other phones would totally mute the speaker and redirect ALL sounds to the connected headset automatically, whether it was WM, iPhone, whatever.
In my searches I see others have had the same issues with Android phones.
Am I missing something here?
Is this happening to other GNote owners, be it wired headsets or with BT headsets?
Is there an App that corrects this issue?
Is this a basic Android OS oversight?
I am shocked and can only imagine that I will have to remember to put myphone into silent mode each time I want to use my BT headset and not have notificationscome over the built in speaker. I have yet to try this as I fear it will also silence the notifications sent to my BT headset.
Curious to hear from others on this matter.
Thanks,
Hi everybody. I have just got my new HTC One and I am really loving it. But I seem to have run into a major problem which I couldn't solve despite trying everything. Whenever I receive or dial a phone call while using a wired headset or bluetooth headset, I can hear the sound in the headset for a couple of seconds but then the call is routed by default to the internal speakers and mic. All this while the phone shows that the output is going to the headset. If I change it to the internal speaker and back again to the headset (wired or bluetooth), everything works normally and I can talk and hear through the headset. This problem only occurs with phone calls and I am able to listen to the music through headsets normally without any sound quality issue. I have searched on various internet forums but all in vain. A few more people were having this problem but no solution was in sight. I thought may be an upgrade would solve this problem but alas even after upgrading to the latest 4.3 update, the problems remains. Hope somebody here can help me with this problem.
I just got my device, and immediatly the first annoyance popped up. I started listening to music through my JayBird BlueBuds X headset, and the audio just stops going to the headset at random times. If I activate the voice dialer and cancel, it will resume for another 2 - 10 minutes before the audio cuts out again. Has anyone had any similar issue?
I am using Google Music only.
Can you see if your buds have a software available. I using 4 Bluetooth devices no issue. My Bose sound link did but after upgrade issue was gone.
BAD ASS NOTE 4
No issues with my bluebud x's like that. Used them for 3 hours straight the other day doing yard work. Try re-pairing or maybe you have some battery management tool stopping bluetooth?
Weird... Its only happebeing with my blue buds. Big Jambox and car Bluetooth don't have the issue.
I'm experiencing the same thing with the same headphones. Except the issue occurs with all of my bluetooth devices.
It is hands down the most unacceptably annoying feature that I can't believe comes bundled with an $800 device.
Anyway in this thread a member suggested turning off S-Health, which kinda sucks. I just did it a few hours ago so I can't verify whether it works or not yet.

so, that should tell you its the headphones, NOT the phones' issue
Hi I'm having issues with my LG Tone Wireless Bluetooth Headset after upgrading to Marshmallow. The track skip button and play button doesn't work anymore. The headset still connects to my phone and the volume controls works but all of the other functions doesn't work. Has anyone else ran into this issued after upgrading to Marshmallow and know anyway for me to fix it?
Oh the pain of being an early adopter
I am running the latest Android 14. And recently whenever I use the Bluetooth in my truck I can hear whoever I call but they cant hear me. It plays music just fine. And this extends to calls made from Messenger and Signal as well. And just today I was in my wifes car which is a 2020 and I could not hear the person I was talking to after I disconnected and reconnected Bluetooth. I had to call them back and then it worked. Maybe not related but I was having trouble getting the speaker to work on my phone on the same call. And I am not having this issue at all in my car which has a new Pioneer system in it.
I did the usual troubleshooting as well so that is covered. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
