I'm finding Firefox on My Pixel is refusing to load pages and reports "This connection is untrusted', for all website apart from Firefox. Anyone else having this problem? Other browsers are working but Firefox runs uBlock Origin and Nano Defender.
Answering my own question; I factory reset my phone and the problem has gone.

The android browser does not keep me logged in. Whenever i close the browser, it logs off sites I was logged into and so very annoying. I have had this problem since I did the software update throught the settings. The Firefox or other browsers don't give this problem. But i find the android browser simpler and better to use. How do I fix it? I obviously tried clearing cache and passwords and all the options in there.*
I'm using a galaxy tab 8.9''.

Have you tried the chrome browser? It is overall similar to the android browser (thanks google!). It may help keep you logged in.
Downloaded application, consisting of XHTML files with Javascript, to SDCARD. Chrome runs application just fine except will not allow Javascript to create cookies. This is a much discussed "security measure". Google's only suggestion is to start chrome with option "--enable-file-cookies". How can this option be set for Chrome startup on Droid Turbo? Thanks.
[As new user cannot post this in development forum. Also, tried to post link to above discussion but that is not allowed for new users either.]
Update: discovered that not only does Google Chrome refuse to save cookies for "file:///" sourced web pages, Google Chrome also refuses to permit geo-location for "file:///" sourced web pages. Installed Mozilla FireFox on Droid Turbo, end of problem.
Well recently my fire updated itself to 5.3.3 without my permission. Now Firefox will not connect to the internet despite also updating to the latest. I was using a User Agent Switcher to fool some websites into thinking I am using a PC version of firefox but I disabled it. Anyone know what is wrong there?
Firefox ver. 68.1.1 set as default browser on Verizon Galaxy S10 auto starts frequently and loads 2 or 3 tabs. One tab is always Amazon. How do I stop this?
I have signed out of Amazon and have tried Force Stop on Firefox but no success.
Maybe some malware / adware you've installed with another app? Try scanning your phone with Malwarebytes or similar...and take a look over some suspicious apps on your phone.
Mostly, Android doesn't support autostart by itself, so maybe an app starts a service which opens URLs. Did you try it with a different standard browser?
OK, my head is spinning with bits covered in different threads on different forums, including the Huawei Community. Please bear with me as I ask a number of questions in one place!
I have a Mate 40 RS imported from China. I love technology but a: I'm 70 next year and b: I've never had an import with all these new issues, so go easy, and keep it simple
I'm trying to stay HMS and most things ported over with PhoneClone - I even have my Santander banking App, although I seem to have lost most of my favourite games and am struggling to find similar ones on the new phone, even with Petal Search
1: The on-board Video player doesn't load, but I've got VLC so not urgent, but why?
2: Celia doesn't load either? Same reason maybe? Is it any good/worth having, or is it another Bixby?
EDIT: No Today Newsfeed with a swipe to the left either.
3: I downloaded Vanced and got everything installed OK. However, every new day, it fails - it just says no internet! If I re-install, it works for another day. Any idea what's going wrong?
4: Huawei Browser - the first time I opened it, it was in Chinese. Not sure what I did but next time it looked like Google Chrome - I haven't downloaded it. I actually use Firefox, which I have downloaded and is fine. But, how is the built in browser, or is it just chrome? And finally browser wise, does it block sites? It wouldn't open the Vanced site or a Google site initially.
Thanks to anybody who replies, for your time and patience!
