Is there any way to know and read tab s2 t710 (probably same for t713) display id or name or how to call it?
I am in situation to buy old t710 for really funny price but device is white and screen black. Clearly changed. No problem for purpose I plan for it just if screen is original...
Thanks

Hey guys, just wondering if you can help me at all...
I have an HTC S720/Libra, my cell phone carrier likes to have you sign 3 year contracts, but only offers 1 year warranty on their phones. Anyways, thats beside the point... (F-in hate Telus...)
So my back light is no longer working on the screen... The LCD itself still works, I can navigate around, and text message still... I took it apart, and it is apart at the moment, so I was just wondering if you guys know if maybe I can fix this screen, or where I can buy a new one? (I would prefer to just buy a new one and install it)
On the LCD itself, the sticker says:
S/N: <Serial Number Here>
P/N: 60H00073-00M
L5F3059P00
712AS
419740007
I dont know what those last 3 lines are, but thats how they appear on the sticker. I didnt include the serial, because I dont see why it would be needed.
I may be corrected on this; a backlight problem is usually not the screen but the driver circuit not providing enough juice. I say this from experience switching LCDs on HTC units.

yes,its hardware issue.
So my Galaxy S is broken
Is it really a hardwere issue ?
I have this too, but i recently had my screen replaced, I don't remember noticing it before (maybe i forgot). I think it is normal due to the sub-pixel (RGBG instead of RGB) make-up of the screen.
I have searched for it and it appears most people have it or don't notice it (We must be very eagle eyed). However I would like confirmation from someone with a SGS that has bought it new without a screen replacement.
Btw Rider17 is yours new? Has it had the screen replaced at any point? Can you post a picture? (I can't find my charger for my camera )
I bought it new,and if i notice i don't think so that it was replaced ,also i checked on google, and most if SGS users have this,i will take a picture and post it .
I have it on my Galaxy S, but the line is so small I barely notice it unless im looking for it.. and i only notice it on white backgrounds. But my screen is a replaced one and I cant remember if I had it before. But maybe your line is larger.. do you notice it on black backgrounds?
No it's only on white background noticeble ,it so tiny i hope it stay tiny
Go take it back. Why should you have to deal with a hardware issue if it's still within warranty and your warranty covers it?
Yea i have warranty but the line is not noticeble only if i put phone 1cm/inch to my eye,i read that a lot of users have same thing.
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which i recently bought, I dropped it and the screen is broken now. I tried to replace it but i tried with three different screens and it is still showing some sort of pixelated images and icons with orange colors, its pretty much weird. I thought that it was probably an issue with the software i changed it but the screen is still that color so I am not sure about what happened, does anybody has an idea of what could be happening?

Hi guys I have just bought another Samsung Galaxy Tab S this time the Tab S2 T719Y. It has the same problem as my other Tab S. That is the screen just goes blank if it is moved from the vertical, while reading or sometimes just because it can, sometimes it just wakes up if you move it a fraction of an inch and then goes black again. It is frustrating the hell out of me. I have not rooted it yet I was hoping there is an easier fix, even opening up and resoldering was done on the Tab S but it made no real difference. Is this a common pain for Samsung tablets if so is there an easy fix. rooting if necessary if that will fix it. I dont need the latest and greatest ROM just a stable tablet on 7.0 is fine. Thanks for any advice.
It looks like the cover, ebay purchase, may be a factor.

I have this line in my screen, I try to update and restart the phone and nothing work...
This line can dissappear for a few seconds but appears again, I call Huawei and they will repair the phone, but... anyone with the same problem?
(Sorry English, I'm Spanish)
Regards.
The line isn't clear at least when looking at your pic on my tablet. You might want to post a shot against a dark background so it's easier to see.
If it's a vertical line from top to bottom that is always in exactly the same place I have seen that type of thing when a phone was repaired but the display wasn't reattached to the motherboard properly.

This line always see in the same place.
If I use a dark background this not show, because AMOLED system don't turn on pixels.
This show in vivid colors, I can't shot better photo because this is very difficult.
Sorry.

I think only a black background doesn't turn on pixels--dark backgrounds still emit light. In any case that sounds like a defect but I haven't read about others having that issue. I did read that Huawei swapped out the displays on some phones returned with LG displays and put in BOE displays. If there's any chance you have a refurb instead of a brand new phone that would make the problem you are describing a lot more likely. You could try doing a factory reset but it probably won't help. If you have a warranty you should return your phone or get it serviced.

This is not a software problem, it is a hardware problem.
I asked to my friends, and they tell me that curved screens have this problems.
I called Huawei and they will go to send me a new device.

Are you talking about folded amoled displays because slightly curved displays have been around for years and I never heard of what you described being a common problem.
In any case at least you're getting it resolved.
