If I were to flash the latest U1 Oreo firmware onto my Verizon Note 9 would I lose features such as Wifi calling or HD Voice?

Before even answering that, what version are you on now? What does it say under settings>about phone>software version>baseband version

Don't do that. I'm pretty sure the J330G already have Android 8.0 Oreo. Go check your Device Software update (OTA) or flash manually on odin by this frimware: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-j3-pro/SM-J330G/

I guess you have wait for your carrier. Because if you flash manually with the other firmware region, it probably make your baseband goes unknown and breaks your network service.

Basically as the title suggest, I'm looking for guide on changing the CSC on my 960U VZW variant. There was one for my 950U and I was wondering if it would essentially be the same process?
What are you wanting to change it to?

Are you just trying to get the unlocked firmware? So you don't have the Verizon bloat?

Well unfortunately it's not possible with Verizon. If you're on the U1 firmware, then you have bloatfree firmware. Plus as you said you can stay on the official beta. If you need WiFi calling, you'll have to install the carrier firmware and flash the leaked builds. But of course that brings the bloatware. You can uninstall or disable a of it, but you'll be left with the Verizon boot animation.

Understood may not be all that bad to just stay on U1, especially being that WiFi calling would be my only benefit, other than being flash happy with leaked builds lol. Thanks boss

Looking to see if anyone on T-mobile has Android Pie 9.0 yet, the official download. That, or does anyone know when it'll come?

Nope. Probably within the next month I hope.
In the US, officially not yet. I think Verizon was the first one to update the Note 8 to Android 8... I'm not sure how quickly T-MOBILE updated their phones

Just for reference, the Note 8 on T-Mobile didn't get a stable build until May '18 (April '18 version got pulled, buggy).
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-36189
Since the Pie update isn't even on T-Mo's radar yet,I'm guessing we're looking at an equally long wait:

Nope. No bootloader update yet for the note 9 so you are safe to downgrade back to Oreo or even over to u1 firmware if you'd like.

I have N950UZKAXAA (USA Unlocked, carrier free) but about 8 months ago, i flashed the carrier version of Oreo with the hope that it supports AT&T wifi calling, but it was still blocklisted, so i moved on to Sprint. It gets monthly security patches up until February 1 (currently on N950USQS5CSA1).
I want to flash back the carrier free firmware, as i think it got Android Pie. Is it possible to flash Android Pie or Oreo again? If so, what version is good to flash?
Thanks
I think I can follow this below firmware ?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/how-to/guide-sm-n950u-u1-t3685884
Oreo
N950U1UEU3CRC1
with "Odin3_v3.13.1_3B_PatcheD" ??
The guide says : Note - If you are flashing Unlocked Firmware from Carrier Firmware you must use Prince Comsy Odin otherwise, use regular Odin.
But no prince comsy for Oreo !!!

The Z builds are all bets builds. If you're still on a beta build of Pie, you'll need to flash to an official release. I sold my Note 8, so I'm not sure what the current build number is.

Yes just flash the Us firmware (g960u) but you won't get any software updates on U model. Other than that, there's no way.
Or you can flash U1 csc XAA and get updates

Can I flash it with a U firmware and flash with U1 CSC? Can I do the mix and match thing?
I am interested in to get wifi calling and VoLTE with AT&T. I know I can get those features with a U firmware but what about U1?

I was on U firmware before and I was using XaC csc as well. But unfortunately i couldn't be able to get updates. Then I switch back to W firmwares and updates are back again.

So the mix and match does work but does not get updates. What about wifi calling on AT&T. Can we have wifi calling on U1 firmware? If I can get that on U1 then
there is no point keeping it as U which is more restricted.
