hello, I'm here to ask for your help.
I have tried all the methods on this forum but I cannot get my dz.natixis.prod banking application to work
with root,
i have already tried all the methods starting with magisk hide, renaming magisk manager, blacklisting the app on edexposed, renaming the TWRP folder, deleting the data and cache from google services and play store, nothing
netflix, snapshat and revolut work very well
I manage to pass the safetynet checks, I am on the latest version of magisk, and the latest version canary yahfa from edxposed
busybox installed
luckypatcher installed.Thanks
I'm thinking that for bank app it's Better device without root.

My first guess would be the app who must not be named that you have installed.
I suggest uninstalling it, mainly for all the bad things it is doing to your karma but it's also on many apps detection lists.

Both me and my friend's Snapchats are crashing before it even opens. Only things we have in common is that both of us are using latest Android (through Custom ROMs, but they're not the same), latest TWRP and Magisk. I use AICP and he uses TeslaOS.
No, for me it works fine. Latest magisk

I am having a similar problem, as of 8/15/17 snapchat on the latest update is not working on my phone.
I have a rooted oneplus 3t with supersu and twrp, some side apps like flashify, root explorer, etc I cant seem to find the app or program that is triggering snapchat's safety feature causing it to repeatedly crash and not let you log in. I also currently do not have magisk.
from some searching it seems some people were able to solve this problem by unrooting and uninstalling magisk modules from their phone, or by using a root hide module from magisk.
Im not an expert but I plan to try the magisk root hide thing and if that doesnt work, do a full nandroid backup and re add one thing back at a time from titanium backup until I find what is causing the problem. there may also be modded snapchat apks out there that bypasses that error but I haven't checked yet. I'm still a noob at this so I would greatly appreciate any help or insight by anyone who's dealt with this problem before!
Try clearing cache/data for Snapchat. It was working fine for me yesterday, but this afternoon I randomly started getting force closes. After clearing cache/data and signing back in it works fine. I highly doubt it's a Magisk issue.
Also, Snapchat was an example, other apps, like Kung Fury: Street Rage, crash too, but only Snapchat actually gives the crash message, the others just keep closing

Snapchat has root/tampering detection. Can't help there (since I don't use Snapchat)...
Kung Fury does not have root detection (I just tested it). If a bunch of apps are crashing/force closing when you have Magisk installed (and MagiskHide active), your ROM might have an issue with WebView. Hard to know without a logcat from the crash though... If it is WebView, installing Chrome Beta and choosing it as your WebView implementation might fix it.

Changing WebView to Chrome Beta didn't solve it. How do I get a logcat of the crash?

snap only utilizes safetynet during login.
Hello Man, i have the same problem on aicp. I have install another rom (CRdroid) and it's work like a charm. I think magisk is not fully compatible with all ROMs. Send a message to the dev of ur ROM for know it.
All apps started working after I uninstalled magisk

I just re-read your first post... Does MagiskHide even work on your device? Can you pass SafetyNet or hide root from a root app (by adding it to the Hide list)?

When I tried, I could pass Pokémon GO's safetynet. In Snapchat case, when the problem was safetynet, it loaded but I couldn't log in, this time it simply didn't open at all, when the app tried to launch it immediately closed and showed a crash message.

Did you ever find a fix for Snapchat?
Hello together,
I would like to continue using my banking app that worked in the past aside my magisk installation. I simply had to activate hide in magisk manager and I was fine to go without issues.
Since latest updates, this banking app only works if I have uninstalled the magisk manager app. I think this way of "app detection" is different compared to normal su or safetynet checks...right?
As there is a feature in settings that randomizes the package name, what might be the problem that the banking app nowadays recognizes my manager app? I really just have to uninstall the manager apk, then everything is fine again.
It probably detects "Magisk" in the app name (rather than the package name that you can randomise). There are plans to circumvent this as well. No ETA...

Thanks for letting me know. Is there a thread or feature you could name?

Latest Magisk already does this...
Hello,
I've a problem with this app and can't find out why it still detects root. (In fact apps says that it can't reach servers to authenticate)
Magisk is installed, hided, renamed, dialer is hided and so other Google apps or apps related to Colruyt group. (Makers of Xtra app). I've uninstalled all apps requiring root such as adaway.
Safetynet is passed and device is certified.
I've tried with safetypatch module.
None of what I've tested here works. Can anyone help me please?
Some other apps such as banking apps, etc that detects rooted phone don't detects that my phone is rooted with what I've done to hide etc.
Here's the link of the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.colruyt.xtra
Thanks.
I'm on OnePlus 6 with evolution ROM 4.20.2
Magisk 20.4 and magisk manager 7.5.1
I just created an account with this app five minutes ago and it never warned me about my phone being rooted
Magisk saftynet : all ko
Magisk hide : Google framework, services and store, play services and xtra

That's all I've done and more :'( . Android services library, carrier services, framework of google services, Google play services, dial services, Google dialer, Xtra app, etc...
I'm gonna try to reflash my rom, then magisk and see what's going on.
Thanks for the help

I've reinstalled my rom without magisk, then the app, added my credentials, installed magisk app to see if the apps detected it, but it didn't. So I installed magisk in TWRP. Hided Magisk, renamed it, hided play framework services, etc
And Voilà, it's working.
I think there has been some kind of mess last time I updated my rom.
Thanks for your help
Maybe the app had some kind of memory, did you try to delete app cache&app before reinstalling the whole rom.
Anyway, glad you fixed the problem
My issue is with magisk hide; when I try to check the box to hide GSF (com.google.android.gsf) it will enable hide but as soon as I exit magiskhide and reopen GSF is unchecked. I have tried everything I can think of including - clearing data gsf, reinstalling magisk manager, installing Canary manager and nothing works. Lastly if anyone has any advice for hiding root from chase bank app, I'd like to hear from you as well, I have tried locking bootloader, uninstalling, and installing within work profile using island, so far nothing works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would even be willing to pay for help with chase root detection.
Thank you all!! :fingers-crossed:

Normally changing Magisk Manager's name to anything else other than 'Magisk Manager' or 'Manager' and enabling Hide for the banking app does the trick for me, but I'm using other bank from another country.

You are awesome thank you, I tried using different search engines to find answers and for some reason this git page didn't show up. I don't know how this wouldn't be considered a bug, every other app has no issues staying selected (visually) but gsf can't keep a visual checkmark.
Hopefully it truly is hidden, and the gui bug is the only issue.
Hello, Before I used xposed I used only Magisk and used the hide option with my banking app *Otherwise, it prompts an error and couldn't be used). Now that I've flash xposed, the app shows the same message again, even though I've turned xposed hide... is there a way to fix it?
tnx

Use LSPosed instead of EdXposed. It compromises SafetyNet now

Thank you.
So should I unistall xposed manager and removed the modul from Magsik?
Ive download it and now my apps works. However there are a lot of apps that cant be found on this LSposed app.
Can I used xposed app with this app? and if so how?

You should delete EdXposed from Magisk and flash LSPosed framework instead.
LSPosed has different approach than EdXposed. All apps are blacklisted by default, you have to check those which are to be hooked by a module. Please read this: https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed/wiki/How-to-use-it
Additionally, check filters in LSPosed Manager. Possibly you have all system apps hidden.

If the user who has used EDXposed has to make sure that there is nothing left in the directory, EDXposed can easily leave the files in the system and directory to cause detection
