Hi,
How to solve the adding device problem like I just said in tittle ?
same happened with me today on note 7
same happened with me today on redmi 4x
same happened with me today on note 7
me2 on pocophone f1 ... this happens, when i try to add the device to my mi account to enable unlocking the bootloader.
does anybody know, how the registration is done? do they try to send sms or something to another country or anything like this, which is probably forbidden?
i'm on miui 9.6 with android 8.1 and almost no settings changed.
i updated to latest miui 10.3.5 with android 9. i used a different mi account (directly registered to my phone number) and allowed every permission request. nothing changed.
The same problem
I have the same issue on my poco f1 global version. I'm from spain. Error code 10000... I bought the phone yesterday and cant found info about this. Seems to be a recient problem with Xiaomi server I think. This happend no miui 9 and new miui 10.0.4.
There are also other people getting this error:
https://c.mi.com/thread-2285993-1-0.html
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/cb28oc/error_10000_cant_associate_phone_and_mi_account/
Error 10000
Same problem in My 8 lite
I hope this proplem solve soon

They give me 186 hr waiting time on mi unlock don't Know why
Problem Solved
This morning I tryed to conect and it works. Now have to wait 72h.
@b00dymoon: you have a note 7, not a pocophone f1. the 72h limit is just for the pocophone, afaik: https://www.androidauthority.com/xiaomi-pocophone-f1-bootloader-unlock-902114/
Disable find device, this solved my problem and linked the account to my device, now i'm waiting for the 72h to pass ..
Hi everyone
I Update my MI 9 Global to android 10 ( MIUI 11.0.6 Stable QFAMIXM) but after setup finish and phone rebooted the touch screen dont work any more.
one month ago my phone touchscreen broke and replaced and worked great before update (android 9 on MIUI 10.2 I think )
but after update it does not react at all . i installed custom recover twrp and installed new rom from xiaomi.eu but nothing changed. :crying:
I connect optical mouse throw otg cable to phone and every thing works normal. sound , network , wifi , bluetooth , camera , .... all work great but touch screen doesnt respond .
I think the problem is kernel dont load driver for touchscreen properly or the new android dont load firmware for touchscreen.
it is dmesg output :
https://pastebin.com/i4Cfyden
if you look at dmesg log you can see some line with error like :
"Firmware in the chip different from the one that was burn! " and "fts_fw_update: firmware update failed again! ERROR 82080B02"
please help me to solve this problem . if I have to use custom kernel or change and compile the driver for new touchscreen ??
based on dmesg log (Read FW from BIN file st_fts_f1.ftb !) firmware must be in file "st_fts_f1.ftb" but I cant find this file in phone memory. I have root access to phone and searched all folder ( including vendor and persist partitions )
Just flash the previous Android version that worked. It sounds as if you bought an aftermarket screen with different hardware.

How Can I test that ? And yes all android 9 ( official or xiaomi.eu ) work but have some minor finger print problem . But The only Android 10 that has not problem with touch screen is GSI rom even GSI v220 ( based on android 10 ) works . I dont know how this is possible ? I based On this I am sure the problem is software not hardware . A question Sir : If touch screen driver in Kernel (boot.img) or in vendor ? I think If I can merge vendors or kernel from android 9 with system and other from android 10 the problem is solved. Thank you and Please any Of your help and info can solve the problem
I have the same problem, Mi9 running MIUI10 Global, want to upgrade to MIUI11 but after update the touchscreen doesn't work, only via otg USB mouse. Tried to flash MIUI12 ia TWRP, again touchscreen doesn't work.
Have you solved the problem?
Same problem
Guys, has anyone managed to solve this problem?
Mi 9 After changing the screen the touch locks after a few minutes of use
My Mi 9's screen broke and I had to change it, but after a few minutes of use the touch simply stops working.
It happens a lot when I lock the screen, and I try to unlock it after a while.
Guys, I've been looking for the solution for some time but I just don't think so. I even found some forums saying to downgrade to version V10 but I still have this problem.
The screen is original, imported from CHINA and is of high quality.
Has anyone had this problem and can share the solution?

unfortunately i dont find any solution yet. and i think no one is kind enough to help us . Now I am sure it is kernel problem. i installed GSI android 10 on android 9 vendor and touch screen works great ( but have some other problem with GIS like cant recieve or send sms messages) So the problem Is kernel used in android 10 . even i installed Quantic-Kernel on aosp and after that again touch screen stop working. Please if any senior member who is familiar with android kernel help us to compile or change touch screen driver used in version 9 and solve the problem . Please Please

You can install new Rom and see if the problem gone or no . I recommentd you install new stock android 10 with MIUI 12 or xiaomi.eu rom .
If after new install problem exist it may be some hardware problem . Even before install new rom you can reset factory your phone and see what happens ( backup up your data before reset factory)

Hi guys,
Has anyone bought the mi 11 Pro yet and if they have what do they think of it? I know it's China only but I'm interested in it compared to the Ultra which seems just too much (as a phone) and I ask here because the Pro and Ultra are very similar devices after seeing a tear down, only major difference are the camera modules except the main one.

I'm curious about the flashing side but I'm a bit of a novice and may stick with the China Rom and adapt to it and follow the guides in this forum.
I have a cn/mi 11 pro as well and would like to know if you just followed the instructions on the 1st page for the mi11pro/ultra thread to flash stanble 12.5 eu, my current firmware is china/cn 12.0.13 latest ota update I can get...been reading there that bootloop on fastboot is rampant and you need EDL to flash the original/global rom, scared to throw $30 for that
@Kaleidoscope1337
So i was also very nervous but i thought If i get into bootloop then i can call edl for unbricking my device. So IT would only cost me 30 Dollar and i also would be on global. EU Rom is better but edl cant flash EU
(CTTO, steps from xiaomi.eu)
Succeed to flash mi11PRO from 12.0.13CN to 12.5.3 .EU and my step as below...
1. Login Miflash tool
2. Setting phone to Fastboot mode
3. Unlocked phone and reboot
4. Quick setting and make sure can login to phone
5. Setting phone to Fastboot mode again
6. Open CMD as administrator
7. Go to folder platform-tools-windows as keying command
fastboot devices > check phone already link with PC
fastboot getvar current-slot > check slot is a or b, and my device show the slot on b
fastboot set_active a > change the slot from b to a
8. Back to extract file folder and keying command
windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat OR
./windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
9. Phone will auto reboot when finished (takes about 15mins to boot).
How does the EU rom compare to Chinese rom?
.eu rom is base on the chinese rom with tweak, for me its the smoothness, no bloatware and the battery, on cn rom im getting around 5-6hr sot only upon flashing .eu rom im hovering around 7-8hr sot easily, also i noticed on initial boot, ram was only around 4gb on .eu vs cn rom where it will eat around 5gb on boot

Go for the Mi 11 Pro if you don't need the zoom and just dislike the large camera bump because you're not missing out that much. They both share the same GN2 main sensor fortunately so most camera improvements usually affect the Pro too.

Which version do you have installed?? The stable or weekly??
I'm getting 4.5 SOT at best, also the phone overheats very easily.. do you have these issues??
I'm having connection issues with the following apps
Android Auto: Drops out after a couple of minutes, goes back to home screen
Dialler: Cannot have a phone conversation longer than 7-8 mins before disconnect
Messaging: Is constantly dropping out and reconnecting to my laptop
Zepp: Keeps giving connection message errors on phone and watch
I guess it's some setting but other than turn off any battery saving I'm buggered if I can find a solution.
I'm running eu rom 12.5.10

I have Mi 11 Pro and I'm very happy with it. I didn't want the ultra as the second screen by the camera is unnecessary for me and was more expensive. The battery is good, bigger than mi 11 and screen is excellent but I prefer the aspect ratio of my old Mi Max 3

Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help, as I don’t want to brick the new 11T pro Global Version Miui 13.0.3latest unlocked bootloader.
Ideally I would like to root but TWRP not working apparently on 13 so I want to downgrade to last stable MIUI 12.5
I checked the antiroll back and they appear to be all set at =1 which means flashing will be possible.
For some reason my PC wont run Flash.all.Bat file and I haven’t tried the Mi Flash tool as I don’t want to relock the bootloader or to brick.
Any proven methods that I could execute ?

yes,

be sure to check the CLEAN ALL (left side) before you click the FLASH button ..
the default MiFlash setting is always CLEAN ALL + LOCK !

If you (I) can't boot into ... Bootloader/Recovery/System
it is nessesarily possible, to use a .bin file to make it happen to boot again.
Who can tell my how it's got to be, to make it ( minimum the Fastboot ) boot again?
