I rooted my galaxy s with the one click and everything was fine. Bought the rom manager premium and then downloaded a beta rom something blackhole and now when my phone boots all it has is a launcher pro that doesnt work. No contacts no apps no nothing! I tried to unroot using the one click unroot but there is no reinstall packages option in the menu anymore. Please help i just want my phone back to stock working again!
Please don't post in Development; it's intended to be used for the actual development side of Android.
Can you get into recovery or download mode? If you can, try performing a factory reset in recovery. If that doesn't work (it probably won't) then go into Download mode, download a stock ROM from samfirmware.com and flash it.
Hello! I recently flashed my GT-I9000 with Darkys. I now became more interested in ROMs like Cyanogenmod and MIUI. Could somebody please tell me how to change from custom rom to another? Is it different? How about lagfixes? Do i need to disable something? Step by step guide would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you got lagfix enabled? If you have you should disable this first
The ROMs you are referring to have full install instructions. If you wanted to start from a stock ROM you can flash using Odin then start from scratch

Nice to see some other fin's
You are on 2.2 stock rom right?
(You may skip this if you've already done)
First, root your phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
Then, go to Market with your phone and install ROM Manager and flash ClockWorkMod trought it
(You can get to Clockworkmod by pressing Volume UP + MENU + Power On when phone is off)
(Start here)
Read this and flash the file in it trough CWM (=Clockworkmod). (install zip from sd-card>choose zip)
Before it do a nandroid backup with Clockworkmod.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047924
After flashing it, (I suggest you to use the Cyanogenmod ROM, its much better than MIUI IMO) just see this guide and download Cyanogenmod and flash it trough CWM

Hi, I have CSL MI 410, rooted and installed with MIUI, & i have been really stupid that i didn't take backup of Recovery Image before rooting.
I want to go back to Stock OS now and i need the Stock recovery image for that.
Can someone please help me with getting the Recovery image?
Also, if i use the SUT LR to install the Stock OS, do i need the Stock Recovery?

Using SUT LR to install or flash stock OS will automatically replace the recovery image file to the stock recovery image file you are looking for.
Also try to learn to search this forum properly. You will find out that Most of your the questions you have has already been answered.
Goodluck.

Hello !!
I have a LG Thrill P925G Rooted + CWM Im getting tired of CWM and want to remove it ? is there any possible way i can remove it without bricking my phone ? I Want It To Go Back To Stock Everything
Please If Someone Can Help Me With This Situation
- ROM MANAGER IS NOT GOOD
Either flash back to stock using whatever tool you used to upgrade to ICS or you can try twrp recovery.
Twrp is my favorite. You can use the aio tool listed in the android development section to get to twrp. Doesn't list a stock recovery to flash in the aio tool.

Its not necessary to use TWRP or CWM but its recommended because its better than stock recovery.. That's up to you whether you want to use it or not.. If you want to use either TWRP or CWM then download the appropriate CoCore E kernel because it has any one of them (depending on what version you downloaded)... You can refer the kernel's thread for instructions on how to install it..
Alternative you can use CWM with stock kernel too...
