Coud not update in the end, got a version mismatch error on hisuite, seems these are for dual sim.
using all the software here:https://ictfix.net/install-google-for-huawei-solution-2/
I gave it a try as well, I get a "no internet connection" and not sure why. My settings are good as is the proxy. For reference I used HiSuite 11.0.0.500 OVE on my P40 Pro ELS-N04C792 on file 499427.

you need to use Hisuite version 10, get in the link I posted
And probably not any version from 10 ... try 10.0.0.510.

Hey djrush, you quoted version 11.0.0.130, I dont see that version in the firmware finder, did you mean .133 ?
I also have version 10.1.0.183 ...
I'm presuming this is why they update Hisuite to allow it to retrieve ver emui 11, but the program hisuite proxi dosnt work with current version.
Is there not away of using the download option from firmware finder and updating manually /locally? Similar to the huawei Update USB option.

I see only version 11.0.0.130.
I believe the version mismatch error is because emui 11 is just out for the dual sim variable of the phone, we have to waita bit more.

Yes, search your region code "C636" for example and find suitable CUST and Preload for your model. ELS-N29 for me for example.

I tried Nougat Beta for L09 on my EVA-AL10 and bricked my phone. I used a factory rom and lost important partitions.
I'd advice against it. Maybe you should wait for them to official launch Nougat for AL10.
But you should just keep a full backup of all the partitions. TWRP backup isn't enough.

I think odd numbered builds are single-SIM and even numbered are dual-SIM. So I have B181 on my single-SIM phone, others are using B182 which is the same build but for dual-SIM.
Now on FirmwareFinder are ...191 and ...193 fw. No one 192, 194, 196 or 198...
And we have 181, 183, but the 181 is 182...
?

If fw 175 has two SIM cards, then 191 or 193 can be two cards ...
For me, for 182 firmware writes to 191 ver.105838 that it can be installed. I tried, downloaded, started installation and stopped with 2% "Update error" message.

B181 with number 101454, download succesfull, reboot and after 1% error "system update failed"
After reading many things on internet i try HCU Client from DC unlocker and successfully unlock my bootloader.
I buy 4 credits on the site (1 credit = 1 euro) =, after that i install the drivers, download the update of client, put the phone in manufacture mode and a little pray, finally get a unlock code.
I just go to Tool all in one and try the code and finally unlock the Mate 10 Pro.

It's fine on Android 8, BUT it was patched in firmware starting June (some later). For example, on C432 it stopped working as of B145. B145 can be downgraded to B142 where it does work. B146 and later can not be downgraded.
For Mate 9 it's still working on latest Oreo.

And finally works with new firmware and rebrand the phone from C25 (Claro Latin-america) to C432.

I don't even understand the language of the guide but with google translator of chrome it was not a problem.
I was getting to many troubles with windows 10.
I got a second laptop and installed Windows 7 and everything works like a charm.
I use the drivers from DC-Unlocker for the Windows 7 and don't install the Hisuite.
Then for do everything I used the HWOTA8_Mate10

Omg I did it last last night aswell, rebranded it from version bla_l09 132 (768) up To bla_l09 156 (c432)
Succeeded rebranding C782B132 -> C432B156.
No issues on Windows 10 using latest Hisuite drivers and HWOTA8(Hisuite closed during process) and no need to apply OTA twice. Butter smooth!

Hi, some of us have already rebranded to L09C432(EU unbranded) to get the latest Huawei updates. Latest official non-beta version is 8.0.0.156. However, be aware that rebranding takes a little work and risk, of course.

Did you install latest drivers and checked ADB/Fastboot are working? Unlocking via AIO is usually straightforward.
I'm currently running BLA-L29 8.0.0.143 (C636patch01) I have the dual sim Mate 10 Pro. What software version should I be on? See that you guys are using BLA-L09 which I believe is a single sim. Isn't that for different hardware than my version?
I no longer have a windows 7 device. Will it work on windows 10 with the compatibility modes?
Is there anyway to rollback firmware in p20 pro?

Yes - from 9.0 to 8.1. Takes a while to download - but I have done it a couple of times.

Make sure you have the latest version of HiSuite loaded ( on a Winblows box ). Connect usb - accept installing client of phone - choose Upgrade - and select the downgrade option.
I don't have that option ?

Once you select 'OK' - does it not ask if you want to downgrade? Mine does. If it doesn't present that option - not sure why.

You can downgrade using old hi suite and rollback firmware from funky huawei (paid) or try to use firmware finder erecovery method. There are manuals here on xda, just do little search.
You can also try to upgrade to latest official version and then downgrade to oreo using official channels mentioned above.

Select a 8.1 firmware for downgrade. You find clear instructions at the linked page.
Model ELS-N04 - Don't install EMUI 11 without GMS installed first
As the title says. I fully upgraded my P40 Pro to 11.0.0.118
None of the methods to install GMS work (with or without computer)
Uninstalling backup to install the older version of backup doesn't work. It just says I have a newer version, even though backup is uninstalled.
You need to downgrade the software using Hisense before installing gms.

You need to use firmware finder. After that, I used:

I can't figure out how to install the EMUI 11 update for my ELS-N04. Also, I'm stuck on version .148. It seems other models have gotten a lot more updates. Is this the latest version for the Canadian varient?

I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I seen a few days ago on the Telus website (phone company here in Canada) that they expected release of EMUI 11 on the 16th of Dec. Obviously didn't happen yet and according to the Telus forums it may still be a long wait for us.

I just got this phone through Telus in Canada as well. ELS-N04 with Build Model 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1).
I couldn't find the appropriate firmware either reading all the Googlefier guides and firmware downgrade links.
Have you guys had any further luck?
Also, just curious why the release of EMUI 11 is important? Based on the current methods for getting GMS installed, we need to do this prior to EMUI 11 being loaded, so isn't the release date for it irrelevant?
