Hey M31 community, this is my first thread posting, so I am pretty excited
In this thread, I will provide you the boot.img.tar for Android 11 (M315FXXU2BUAD) for you to root your device with Magisk v21. You can flash it through Heimdall or Odin (I am not sure it will work on Odin since Odin checks the file). You can ask your questions down below.
Tar file.

Download Odin (find it online) and flash the TAR file using the AP option. Your bootlocker should be unlocked and you should be in download mode. (Search download mode for your device online)

You should have problems with Odin on your computer. I have never seen that in the newest version. If you are not using the newest version, please upgrade. Also, Heimdall is an open source alternative to Odin. You can flash firmwares with Heimdall too, but you should be careful because unlike Odin, it flashes any file to any partition which can make your device unbootlable.
can u patch my boot.img pls? idk why my magisk manager is failing. or tell me what masgisk manager are u using to patch it.

It's always recommended to use the original one to avoid issues.

You CAN or CANT access download mode ? If you can, simply flash a stock ROM via ODIN.

Yes I can, I tried to downgrade to GB but it failed as well :/
I don't really clearly understood your issue.
But if you want to flash a Stock ICS Rom, start ODIN PC, start your SGNote in download mode (button volume down + home + power), then connect your SGNote to your PC and flash via ODIN PC.
If you don't know exactly how to use ODIN PC, check tutos on the forum.

When you say "it failed" you are going to have to be more specific. Please give us an error message. Did you get a NAND write start and factoryfs.img and it just freeze after that in Odin?

Reinstall your ADB/USB drivers, make sure you're using USB2.0 port - for me USB3.0 always results in failed flash, ultimately switch USB ports.

The file you download from dr. Ketan is a .rar file, unzip it once and you get a .tar file. Flash that file with Odin in pda section. So don`t unzip the .tar file again.

The problem was the ROM itself
I flashed a new 4.0.3 and it worked perfectly
Thanks a lot.

To start with - you need root to flash this custom ROM, so unrooting your device was a mistake, you have to root it again.
Now, i've never flashed Criskelo's ROM, but from what i've read in the thread, you need to root your device, flash Chainfire's ICS repack via mobile odin, and then flash criskelo rom via CWM. Do not unpack the .zip file, you need to point CWM to that file.

When you boot into recovery, is it CWM recovery?
If you are talking about not seeing the CWM app, don't worry about that.

So you have to flash the CWM.zip file found in drketan's thread in android development.
I followed everything via this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147852 and successfully flashed CWM to my GT-I8190.
The problem arises when I attempt to boot into recovery mode. Every time I attempt it, I am taken to the stock android recovery screen and not CWM. I've tried different versions of Odin... the touch version of CWM.. using a different computer... all to no avail.
I even downloaded Rom Manager thru Google Play and attempted to flash/update CWM from there (as it said it was, indeed, installed on my phone) but it wouldn't let me reboot the phone into recovery from Rom Manager - I imagine because I am not rooted.
I'm attempting to root my phone and flashing CWM is the first step. Like I said, the flash was, indeed, successful but the problem is that it always takes me into stock recovery instead of CWM.
Thanks in advanced, guys!
try another custom recovery, for example this one.
Wait until Odin says "success" and then reboot into recovery via Vol+ Home and Power

Thanks, guys! I'll post back with my results.
Same deal, xXPR0T0TYPEXx... I extract the .zip to find merely an image file.. I tried it with Odin anyway but Odin will not recognize it.
Hmmmmm.... I may have to go with vROOT if you tell me it's safe to use.
Another way of root is by flashing unsecure kernel. You can do it easily by Android Toolkit.

put the extracted firmware files into c:\odin
delete hidden.img and cache.img
then the command in cygwin to change to that directory would be
cd /cydrive/c/odin
then enter the re-tar command as described in my guide and flash the n910f.tar file with odin! this will work 100%!

Ok finally got through the change directory, created the tar as described and flashed it with Odin. Stuck in bootloop. Tried installing twrp recovery, either failed with odin or when trying to boot into recovery it automatically went into download mode.
Flashed my regions stock rom through kies emergency recovery. Boots up fine, works fine. Next flashed the 5.1.1 Tar image. Same problem, endless booting sequence (gets up to home page and then reboots).
Anyone have some suggestions?
I rooted my Exynos S10 and I now need to flash it back to stock. What do I need to do in order to get there? It's been awhile.

Install Stock ROM with Odin. Download last version with Frija. Or try open Recovery Mode and in Recovery Mode make factory/reset, restart phone. After this you will lost all what you installed.

Ok well new problem. I can't seem to get it to recognize the phone on my computer when I plug in the USB cable. It charges though. WTF?
Did you install the latest driver? Try change USB socket. Open ODIN as Administrator.
