[Q]about rooting,custom rom,cwm,flashing on S5570I

hi everyone, its my first time to have a smartphone and i want to root it put custom rom,cwm, and do flashing on my S5570IDXLF2 but im confuse when i read like "S5570I" only. does it mean it support any kind of S5570I model? or there's only a specific model?

Well, GT-S5570I is different than other GT-S5570 handsets. So, roms made for GT-S5570 and it's variants like GT-S5570L can't be flashed in GT-S5570I. To root your handset, you can use the instructions I provided you. For other things such as clockwork mod recovery, there's a thread in development section and they have got CWM for galaxy pop plus (s5570i) as well. You might also find other information at that thread, so it's recommend to go through that one first.

last week I help my friend to root his phone hi has Samsung galaxy mini gt-s5570i this phone use sim card.i followed a tutorial and download a zip from this page but did not work then in the sd card I found this zip <bcmroot> my friend he doesn't know about this get to the sd card, he supuse the place unlock the phone maybe they put the zip in there so go to the recovery mod and flash it if your phone is the same it will work.im sorry for my bad English thanks.

Enter network lock control key ?

Hello dear friends ,
I brought a unlocked phone from amazon. galaxy note N7000 with 2.3.6 android. it worked fine in unitedstates. now i came to india and it worked fine in india too for first few days. the phone was updated to 4.0.4 by samsung kies yesterday and now i am not getting my calls or texts. when ever i switch on it shows me the message as " ENTER NETWORK LOCK CONTROL KEY " UNLOCK or DISMISS.
.. i dont know where to find my lock code . i dont know to which carrier my mobile is locked ? please help me with this issue ?
i didnt enter any unlock code till now . i didnt root or install any custom roms till now.
should i get it unlocked by unlocker.net website ?
should i downgrade to 4.0.3 ?
any input will be highly appreciated ..

i am on android 4.0,4 . can you please tell me how to root this ?

Samsung recently released the new XXLRQ (ICS 4.0.4) Update for the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 that combines features from Galaxy S III and the Note II, I'm pretty sure you all know about this.
So I flashed the update using ODIN and it worked perfectly, the ROM is great and all but the problem is the Network Lock Key !
I can't use my phone as AN ACTUAL PHONE! No calls, no texts, no mobile network, nothing!
Any help ??

No, you need to be rooted to gain admin rights.

Bluetooth no function .
Dr. Ketan my galaxy note n7000 use the tool number 18 to unlock the lock code is ok.
But now the Bluetooth can not function so what can I do?

are you on a safe kernel? If yes, do a wipe data / factory reset and check BT again

n7000 roms work for SGH-T879 t mobile note i cant find any threads for SGH-T879 help also can if there not can i use n7000 roms i really would like try sweet rom i got phone rooted all ready just cant wait try some roms thank you any help and sorry if this has been asked alot . google not get me any luck today

I don't think they will work as they use different cpus

N7000 roms will brick your device.

i guess you would have to surf once galaxy s3 xda android forum
u will find official kitkat of note is ported for some roms
hope devs will see my question and atleast try once

Thanks. I read that thread already. Someone already posted that n got grilled quite a bit. I'm not saying it's impossible (hopefully). I'm just saying that this question has been asked tad too many times which suggest u should read what's already in the thread. No offence though. Just a form of goodwill of reminder.

yeah that true
i had ported almost all custom rom successfully
but i have no idea about porting samsung stock
so im requesting devs

I read that to port a stock rom you must have the source code, which samsung will not release. That's the problem.

it is very difficult (nearly impossible) to make a port like that
but in S3 case the hardware of it is almost the same as N2

but now im gettin to know what is it..
im now downloading the tw 4.4 try my level best
if you know how to run bootstrap(/system/framework/)
of other device on mine one(is it possible....???)
or how could i merge cm11 framework_res.apk of mine with tw
please tell me

s2....you find it on s2 android development forums

now had changed every thing as required in the rom
only thing left is kernel
cm11 kernel is not getting unpacked
gives error "magic header not found"
i require a little help to unpack / repack cm11 kernel

i want to root and install custom ROM in NOTE 8, (i know all the procedure from my past phone S8 how to do that) now my question for the peoples of pakistan who living in pakistan and using custom ROM in NOTE 8 or any other phone please do let me know that as of new rules by PTA after 20 october 2018 Is custom ROMs are still working locally ? please reply thanks

Parent teacher Association? I don't see how custom Rom can be blocked by local regulation body as they don't see it.they only see imeib and phone model. Just make sure the correct csc is used and modem.

Lol...Pakistan telecommunications authority... You're right though, sounds like they are trying to avoid stolen devices and therefore need to register imei. Don't see any issue with custom roms.

Each and everyone works fine , no bugs , no issue .
I am using now a days ,, delux rom .
So go and frab one , be careful about your Css ,,

So what is position bro? are you using custom rom on note 8 without any restriction by PTA ? i want to install custom rooms on note 9 but if it can damage my device then i will stay away. any advice bro?

I went to pakistan twice for work and birth times using the note 8 on dr ketan rom.no issues roaming on telenor..
First trip to chiniot via lahore.
Second trip to rahim yar khan via hyderabad.

On a PTA approved phone, do I just flash the ROM normally like ppl tell us to do? Since it isn't VIP patched and the IMEI is registered, it should work without causing sim not registered issue?

To everyone having this question,
PTA wouldn't be able to detect a custom ROM in your devices. Also they wouldn't have any problem with that.
I have always been using different ROMs in different devices from Samsung/QMobile/Huawei/LG/Xiaomi for 6 years.
Just make sure to backup your NVRAM in twrp and copy it to a safe location if the device is patched otherwise you may lose your IMEI.
