Recover data after display defective - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

My Huawei p9 is broken recently after a fall to the ground. The screen remains black all the time. If I try to turn it on, it vibrates briefly but the screen remains black even on the charger only the red signal light for charging lights up. But now I want to save all my phone data with the laptop. The laptop is running Windows 10. At the beginning when I tried to connect it to the laptop came the message device not recognized. I would like to recover all my data. Usb debbuging is not enabled and I don't know my screen lock code anymore

[Q] USB/Auto Rotation problem in Galaxy S

Hallo,
I have Oct/2010 Galaxy S bought from Germany. I have the 3 button recovery mode enable model. So following are the problems I am facing simultaneously...but first the story how it begins...
The day it started
I was making a video of my girl when she was taking a shower..lol..she caught the phone and tried to snatched it...and in this bloody joke act, the phone fell off in the sink about 1-1.5 feet below. I immediately took it and checked if everything was ok. I found that the home screen was fixed to horizontal display, and wouldn't change even after numerous re-starts or rese/selecting the automatic rotation option.
Problems
1. Stuck Horizontal Display
The phone is 99% time stuck to horizontal display with exception of the call log or dialer option or games which run only in portrait mode. Auto-rotation selection-deselection and horizontal calibration doesn't help at all. *Till 2-3 days back, if the phones battery is exhausted and switches off automatically, and then if the charging USB cable is connected, the phone restarts and turns normal to the normal portrait mode*. And stays like this till the next manual restart. Now, this is also not working anymore. I can play the accelerometer games perfectly, those also which run in portrait mode only. Also, the phone never charges if it is switched off..I mean if you connect charger USB cable/power cable when the phone is switched off...the phone turns on and then start to charge. Before(when all was ok), I had this big battery indicator on screen while at the time of switched-off charging. Also, if a power cable charging method is used...the touch screen behaves like crazy and you cant use it at all. You can't even slide to unlock the screen but all the buttons work completely fine. In case of USB cable charging...everything goes normal and I can use the touch screen and buttons like normal.
2. USB Mode
So the USB cable is charging the cellphone whenever connected to any USB port. When connected to a computer, its the wish of the cellphone if its wants to connect or not. The USB mode is detected by a computer/laptop only when the phone is turned on after a complete battery discharge in a normal portrait mode (read the lines above marked with *). That too I have to reinstall the drivers of the phone on the laptop/pc again. All the other times when phone is only have horizontal display, USB mode of any type...mass storage, kies, music player is not detected.
Some how i have upgraded to recently released 2.3.4 XXJVR from my previous 2.3.3 XXJVK but the problem has not gone. It started while using XXJVK only. I have reset everything...erased the phone/sd card memory but nothing happened and also restoring to the factory reset option.
Anyone who can help!!
Try flashing a FULL rom with 3 files and .pit again
Hope it helps

Screen stays dark, but white led notification

So today right before i was about to go into class my phone was dieing so i plugged it into my laptop about a minute later the computer dinged, the phone shut off then the phone would not boot up and all i see is the white lcd notification. I is plugged in now trying to see if it will charge and re-boot, but anyone have an idea of what to do.
EDIT:
Never mind it was my laptops fault, the usb ports decided to short out at the same time i plugged into my phone.

green light in atrix hd mb886 i cant turn it on.

it all started two weeks ago
the atrix hd suddenly started close the firefox app,
three days ago it freezed and black screen, i tried press the power button but nothing!
it only came back when i connected the charger, the green led blinked two times and it powered up normally with the red motorola logo etc.
i was feeling that this phone was dying so for security i made one backup of important files less one that i forgot, and i am needing this file right now.
today i was checking my emails when it freezed and black screen, tried press power button and nothing.
charger ... nothing!
so i checked in the internet and saw the " special modes/special menus"
so i pressed power and vol down and entered in fastboot mode, and pressed power so the phone restarted.
but it freezed in the home screen.
repeat it all over again and i could use it normally.
again i was using my phone and black screen.
but this time the phone does not even enter in fastboot mode.
the only signal of "life" is the green led when i plug my charger or when i connect the usb cable in the pc,
in the linux the terminal cant recognize the phone with lsusb command.nothing appears.
i tried disconnect the battery for two minutes but nothing happend.
the last time it freezed it was with 23% of charge.
it is more than two hours in the charger but nothing happens.
i am using an eb40 battery,it was hardly used, lately it only could 6 hours of activity.
i think months ago when i used to use an pirate charger it damaged my phone doing the things worse now in the present , because the pirate charger provided more current than my atrix hd could take. so the touch became nuts /crazy detecting more touches than the real in ramdon places of the screen. happilly i found an old n900 charger and the problems ceased/stopped.
sometimes the green led blinks two times
sometimes the green led continues "solid" only stopping if i disconnect the charger
sometimes it only stops when i press power and vol down buttons and after continues when i finished press the power and vol down buttons.
observation:
i loose the screw that hold the battery because if the screw is tight not even the green led appears,so i think it could be an bad contact of battery.
so if someone have a tip of improvisation i would appreciate.
except the fact that i unlocked the operator this smartphone is virgin, i do not touched in the software(rooted or unlocked botloader )
this mb886 is an at&t one, i am not an american citizen so i could not ask an repair from at&t
as i said i am needing an file, so nothing about hard reset or things that could erase the memory.

Stuck in boot loop, but need to backup files!

So my phone fell from a very high height and the LCD screen is broken. When I try to turn it on, the led does the blue light that typically means that its booting. It will sit like this for hours until it dies. Since the LCD is broken, I can not tell what it is doing or where it is getting hung up. When the phone is off and plugged into my computer, the computer recognizes it as a Samsung phone but it won't mount it. When the phone is trying to boot, it doesn't see the phone at all. Any suggestions or help?

Water Damage S4 Active

Hello Gurus, my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active AT&T is water damaged. I removed the battery and buried phone in a box of rice for more than 24 hours. The battery is fat now and when I inserted the battery and tried to turn it on, there is no display. However, it vibrated when I pressed the power key to turn and also vibrated when the charger was connected.
I wanted to know what is the easiest way to get the display fixed.
I also want to retrieve data from the phone and my phone was pattern locked. Is it a possible to retrieve data from a damaged phone which is pattern locked?
Looking forward for your help.
If the phone vibrates it means that something it's still alive, but probably not the entire phone. In any case, there is no easier way to change display than another one: if the display is gone than change the display, but you could not know if there is something else damaged, so the expense of the display itself should be useless. However, if the phone is alive you could connect the phone to the pc and try to transfer any data to the pc unlocking the phone with the computer and than copying files
