Android 12 battery stats - Google Pixel 4 XL Questions & Answers

Hi,
Isn't it possible to get battery usage after charging?
My stats are not being reseted after a fully charge...
You can't choose stats after charging, just 24h

Reboot the phone to reset? You can also try the Accubattery app. EX Kernel Manager has a great battery monitor too.

Reboot doesn't Reset the stats, but i forgot about the stats in EX Manager.
It's shown correctly, thanks

[Q] Wipe Battery Stats

Hi!
I cannot get this option to appear in 3 Button Recovery Mode.
This option: "rm / data / system / batterystats.bin" serves to activate the wipe option in Recovery Mode or wipe it directly?
tks!!!
Try with this

Ofcourse, your SGS must be rooted....

I hear that to calibrate the battery, we need to make full charge/discharge several times. So when did we have to wipe battery stats? And why did we need to do it?
If wipe battery stats will reset the battery state to 100%, so it will be enough to charge the battery during the night to be sure it's full then do a wipe battery stat to make it calibrate with the real battery current state (full charge = 100%). Am I right?
I donot understand how the battery stat work? please help!
Thanks
In my experience wiping the battery stats is not necessary, the meter will calibrate itself with every cycle. If you want to speed up the process and be nice to your battery let it drop to 5-20% before recharging.
With some FW even a batterystat wipe won't help.
I have bad battery behaviour with JPY, also my wife which has even less apps who are active online, like K9-mail.
Hope with XXJQ3 the battery will last longer
Miro666,
Cant found at market the Tuxility, do you know another way to download? Tks

[Q] CyanogenMod and battery

I flashed Clockwork Recovery and CyanogenMod 7.2 successfully on Galaxy Mini. Everything works great. Hovewer, phone operates on battery for a very short time, even shorter than stock ROM! I know I have to format battery. I charged Mini to 100%, went into recovery, advanced -> format battery stats(or something like that). Then I started to discharge my phone - I played on it one hour, then I listened to the music for some time, now there is only 40% left! In background there are avast and JuiceDefender Ultimate. Is this normal for the first time or I format it incorrectly(I used this: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-fix-battery-drain-issue-on-a-rooted-android-device/)? Does it need to discharge without any help like playing or music? Maybe I should turn off JuiceDefender?
first thing juice defender runs in the background and consumes battery too
Some tips for improving battery life
1.turn off haptic feedback
2.turn off bluetooth, wifi and gps when not needed
3.keep the brightness of phone low
4.if not using 3g, check Enable 2g network only
I know, how to save battery, but it still discharges faster than on stock ROM with the same settings. I think JuiceDefender should save battery... especially that it has turned on CPU underclocking when screen is off and other files. Is it normal for first discharging after removing batterystats.bin? Or maybe there is another procedure of charging and discharging before and after removing file?
maybe your battery is not
calibrated
download app to calibrated from
from here forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=839169&d=1325511989
how to use: charge your battery to
100% then open the app and look
at the voltage if
if the voltage is 4200mv that mean
your battery is calibrate
but if the voltage is less than
4200mv at 100% at the same time
take out the battery and pute it in
back and turn on phone
there you battery should be lees
than 95%
wait till it meet 100% then open
the app and your battery should be
4200mv at 100% then presse on
calibrate
for all this procedure your charger
must be plug-in and 3G/wifi/ gps
must be desactivate
and use untutu battery saver from market ,better than juice defenders
If i helped you be sure to click
that THANKS button

[Q] Battery Percentage.

I'm Currently On Apocalypse Rom. I'm having Battery percentage issue.
I Charged 1Minute it can direct boost up to 100% Which mean it show Charged but when i plug off - the battery percentage drop directly. Anyway to fix this?
even i charged for 1 night, the battery can last only like 8hours.
The battery is new :O
i need real battery percentage =X
Search the market/ play for an app called "battery full notification"
It's light weight and non-invasive and will tell you when your battery its actually charged (your phone normally will say 100% long before it has competed it's charge. The only other way to tell if it has completely charged that i know of is to go to settings> about phone> status. The app has many options to let you know without disturbing you. Check it out.
Also, when you install a new ROM, do it with a full battery. You can help by calibrating your battery with an app or:
When your phone runs out of battery and dies, boot to recovery and wipe battery stats in the advanced menu of cwm. If you don't have enough charge to do this charge for a few seconds then boot to recovery.
Charge your phone until full and that's it.
Your battery on your ace is not great and if you use your phone as much as I do, 8 hours isn't bad!
I use my phone LOTS!

NC battery has been displayed 11%

NC battery can be charged, the indicator will turn green, the use of normal, NC battery has been displayed 11%,How to make the battery indicator to 100%?
Reset battery stats
Try rebooting into recovery and under advanced reset battery stats.

Click to collapse
i also have this issue, but stuck at 31%. nothing works... tried clearing nc batt stats, manually deleting the batt stat file, and the app which doesn't work since its waiting for batt to hit 100% and forcing it does nothing too.
Sent from my droid3 running stock rooted debloated... O_O
I had this same issue. I tried every app suggestion I could find online and even cleared the battery stats in recovery, but had no luck.
Eventually I think I had an OTA update break my root so I had an excuse to do a system wipe/update (from 1.2 to 1.3 I think it was) and while I was in clockwork mod recovery I did a complete system wipe (format everything, restored to 1.0.0) and reset the battery stats. When I finished the manual update to 1.3 and rooted, the problem had gone away.
I'm currently running eyeballer's CM9 nightly and have had no further problems with the battery indicator.

Battery Drain Issue

Hi guys I've a problem with the battery drain irrespective of the ROM I use. The battery discharges normally from 100 to 29 %. Then their is a sudden drop from 29% to 15%. Wiping the battery stats hasn't helped. Also if I allow the phone to automatically switch off and then I plug it in to charge and then allow the phone to charge upto 2 or 3% and then reboot the phone, the battery percentage after the phone reboots will have jumped to 33%. Any solution to get this faulty battery stats corrected?
It's a really frustrating problem. Any solutions plz.
What ROM did you use? If its MM based, try to use wakelock detector and amplify battery extender
