yellow tinge to photos, especially foliage...

Hi, is it just me or do photos (especially landscape and/or ones of foliage) have a yellow tinge or cast to them? is there any fix for this, I have tried various various 3rd party camera apps and though some fix the blurry right side of some photos non fix the yellow cast...

gCam (modded) & best config *foto+video* (update: EOL)

In these thread i try to collect the best working gCam Version for the Xiaomi Mi A2 with the best functional and stable config. I get a lot of private messages because of the lack of good configurations. I try nearly every gCam version in the wild and always check the website from "celsoazevedo" for newer ones. Big THX to him, for the nice collection (www.celsoazevedo.com) and the Devs of the different kind of gCam mods. This mods are incredible and a game changer in the smartphone market! THX

Info: Focus Dots on clear blue sky can be reproduced. On yellow (i have just a yellow book and a banana) is nothing to see. I will added the strengh of focus dots to my criteria. In the attachment are three cropped pictrure (1/9 of the pic - center/focus) of clear bright blue sky, a bookcover with an own structure and a banana - all in heavy sunlight. The dots are just slithly visible in the sky... The Focus Dots on SkulShady builds are way stronger and bigger. I will test more builds in the next days.
Whats not working (with this version+config):
- 1080p in 60fps (heavy zoom - every gCam Version)
- 4K Video (Fatal Error - every gCam Version)
- Motion Pictures ('No HDR' & 'HDR+' - brake frontcam in normal mode)
Missing Features:
- Google Lens (need build 5.3.x)
- 20MP front-cam mode (just 5MP - every gCam Version, because camera2api limitation)
Working:
- All Photo features front+back
(Panorama, Photo Spehre, Focus Effect, Portrait)
- No HDR, HDR+, HDR+ enchased
- 1080p (30fps)
- Slow Motion Video (120fps)
- RAW+JPEG
- front focus led in 'No HDR' pictures

Update (06.10.2018): A new (older release) gladiator entered the arena to mess with Arnovas release. In reason of focus dots i played around with this version of gcam (THX to saneklic):

Unfortunatly its very cloudy in marroco, but first tests show no focus dots. More tests and a deep comparision (even with longer exposure pics) will follow. The important thing is, this release support the same video and photo capabilities. But more tests will come... At first this release is the new compatitor. The settings are complete different and i think, maybe low light might be difficult to beat, compared to Arnovas release - but we will
Update ENdOfLife: My device rebooted and stayed in a bootloop. I tryed to flash just the boot img etc. but the storage mmc gets corrupted :silly: all my vacation pics are gone. Thank sou Xiaomi. I send the device back and bought a OnePlus 6. Thats why im out here - sorry! :crying:

Im actually for 10days in Marraco and make every picrure with the gCam (bright, dark, high contrast pictures) and cant recognize any focus dots :fingers-crossed. But i will take care about that dots
Update: i made some bright blue sky pics and can see the dots. I will try to find a plane yellow surface. But actually all seems fine. (I know, Arnova posted about a wrong raw mode from the dual camera driver - but still, i cant the any dot).
Update2: On a yellow book i photographed is nothing to see. But i put my attention to the strengh of the dots
Update 3: yellow banana in bright sun - no dots.

Can't see them on the display much, at the PC, different story. Be careful about blues and yellows

Check Settings for: „use classic smartburst“, restart App (close complete and Start) and voila
Im sure, front cam just works right now, when you switch at first to portrait mode and then switch to frontcam.

Which settings use you?

Monochrome combined with depth feature

I'm considering buying the Nokia 9 and I am wondering if the camera can use the depth changing feature (bokeh) when taking monochrome pictures. I really enjoyed the monochrome camera on my old Huawei P10, and adding bokeh on black and white photos would be nice.

I know it's an old post, but for the ones wondering, there is no Depht setting for monochrome picture. Also, the picture is taken with one of the side B/W sensor, but the screen show what the centered sensor see. So in the end the photo is not centered as seen on screen when the photo was taken.

The thing is ... if the Nokia 9 PureView when shooting in black and white, it does so only using hardware, this is its three monochrome lenses (as it was said that Huawei Mate 10 Pro) or on the contrary (as it seems be that it does) uses the 5 lenses, the 3 monochromes and the two RGB and then desatura with software filter the image ...
If the case, it is confirmed that it is the latter, without problem in the depth map, in fact it seems better option to shoot the Pro mode (capture in RAW) and then in the edition from Adobe Lighroom desaturate the image, without being deceived, since "purely" by hardware, it seems "not to carry it out" in the same way that when the camera captures in color, the five lenses are always used together

it uses the 3 monochrome sensors.. I don't know who tells the opposite... the preview before you shot is from center rgb sensor desaturated.. but if you cover the 3 monochrome sensors and shot.. innthe start you ll see the image of preview.. but when fusing complete you'll see only a black picture

Black and white photos/videos except one object or colour

Hey guys, how to shoot/take video of scene where everything is black except one object or one colour?

try AI colour Mode

I don't know if this is what you mean but one way to achieve such effect is to take picture in aperture mode then view it and in the upper right corner of the picture there will be small lense icon, touch it and from the filter at the bottom pick mono filter which should desaturate the background.

Camera depth of colour changed since upgrade to emu 10

can you help.
Since upgrading the depth in colour on the camera is very poor.
I sell vacuum cleaners mainly online and used to love how the pictures came out. Now they look very weak in colour with no depth.
I won't lie. When i first got the camera I can't remember if i made any settings changes but I have been playing around with it and can't seem to re-create it.
One thing I used to touch the screen to focus on a point and the picture used to darken slightly which looked good. Also it was a circle. Now it's a square and the picture goes lighter which I hate.
Can you guys help..?
I did try to roll back to EMU 9 through hi suite but it won't give me the option. I did enable HDB etc but it still does not give me the option. If you guys can't help with the camera settings, is there any other way to rollback..? I don't care about security etc and new features, the main use was for the pictures.

I was wondering if you saw the option to revert to factory settings in camera when you open settings? Try doing that?
As for darkening the photo, when you touch the place you want to focus, the little sun appears on the side of the square. Try swiping up or down to lighten or darken the photo.
