Hello everyone,
I got different feedbacks when reading or watching online videos.
An article on XDA pointed that the Find X5 Pro would embark a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 : https://www.xda-developers.com/mediatek-confirms-oppo-find-x5-dimensity-9000/
Despite the specs sheet list pointed a SD 8Gen1 : https://www.xda-developers.com/oppo-find-x5-pro-specifications-renders-leak/
Today, I came across this :
The device being given by OPPO, I guess he's been given the official specs sheet (he said SD 8Gen1).
So, are we arriving in a Samsung-like situation, where some countries will have Dimensity 9000 instead of a SD 8Gen1?
I haven't seen any official statement on OPPO's website, and I'be curious to have a final statement from @OPPO Ambassador Team.
If anyone could bring some lights to this little confusion of mine, it will be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Just got my answer through this article: https://www.xda-developers.com/oppo-find-x5-pro-enco-x2-launch/
SD 888 for standard version, and SD 8Gen1 for Pro version. Thanks, XDA.

Thanks for your question~ Yes, as the answer you find, the SoC of OPPO Find X5 Pro is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while that of OPPO Find X5 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. That's one difference. For more details, the website pages have been ready. Here you can get:
OPPO Find X5 Pro: https://www.oppo.com/en/smartphones/series-find-x/find-x5-pro/specs/

I have been looking and waiting for months and months, searched a lot so I apologize if I missed it somewhere.......
Is this going to be officially released in a US version
this is/was pretty much exactly what I was looking for......but don't know if it is ever going to happen.
Thanks.
It is supposed to be coming, although I have not checked in a while as I am wanting the Touch Pro now O_O
Anywho its called the HTC Wings 200, quickly looking for some links for you shows not much of an update, I thought it was due out later this year but I am not positive, there is some info on it here. Specs look exactly the same except theres two more UMTS bands for somewhat better US support.
There's another few sites online that have that same spec sheet but not a lot of info. There's a few threads floating around this site discussing some information on it but they have not been updated in a while.

Interesting stuff. Looks great in the specs, relese date Feb. 2008 is what I've seen elsewhere also. I guess we need more info on when/if this may happen for real.
The touch pro is a Pocket PC right, I'm liking the smartphone idea a little bit. I'm running a Tilt now tricked out and it's pretty good, but this S730/Wings 200 has had my eye for a long time, simplicity and everything in one.
The tilt suffers from the Pocket PC os issues as all other Windows Mobile touch screen devices.
Thanks for the reply, I hope someone knows or can point us to a bit more.
I guess this is just a dead issue. Bummer, I was really looking forward to this phone.
It's a shame, the smartphone in this form by HTC would be very cool.
At this point I wouldnt hold out much hope for it, although the s740 could make it over...
Does anyone know whether the Mi Mix will get the Nougat update? And if not, whether it is possible to install a clean android version on there?
I have contacted Xiaomi in every country to see if anyone is able to give me a direct answer. I'll post it here, when i get one.

Supposedly mix will get nougat, when who knows.
Probably within a few months would not count on it sooner than that really.
Hey
I can buy one of these phones used 1-2 months for similar good prcice. And I have dilema.
The most important for me is camera(quality in night condition also matters) - I have no idea which one is better in this field.
Also I pay attention to screen and design - I guess in this regards Nokia win. However I have some doubts about 3gb ram in Nokia, it seems too little, but maybe its enough because of pure android?
I have also option to buy LG G6 but for similar price, but it would be used about 12months.
What do you think?
Hi there,
There are threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
I will have to close this one. Thanks for understanding.

Naaah. Don't think it is in any way worth it... Maybe the S23 Ultra.

Hi,
I am a man from France half time of my life or more already. I am a computer scientist and GNU/Linux daily user.
I am a user of Android phone.
My historical phones were in the beginning Motorola (Startac), Ericsson (t18s), Nokia 3210, Alcatel one touch, Sony Experia Arc S, Sony Experia X3, and in the end of the 2010s I got a one plus 5T, and my current phone one plus 8T.
I found your forum because I was recently searching still a solution to get updated my Android Os on the One
Plus 5T.
I am a Linux user and I find very shame this impossibility to put freely the last version of Android and be able to use phone that hardware is sufficient but that os had been stopped. For ecology and the earth, This is bad thing and it should be possible to be able to change phone only when it doesn't work anymore in term of software but not hardware.
That's for the creation of this very helper forum .
Regards,
Ses Specs
