"Erik Day, Dell's director of marketing for EMEA, has confirmed that the Dell Streak 7 will be getting an upgrade to Android 3.2 (Honeycomb).
Speaking to Thinq, Day demoed the softare on the 7-inch tablets at IFA 2011, but wasn't able to say when the Honeycomb update would come to existing Wi-Fi only Dell Streak 7s."

Can anyone explain me the reason, why Dell dont want Update the 3G Model of the Streak7
Because there is no 3G version. The 4G version is under the control of T-Mobile as to whether or not they want to upgrade it.

There is a 3G Version . Here i have the 3G Version-Sells by Dell in germany.
Without any brandings or simlock.
3G Unlocked version is for Europe http://www.dell.com/uk/p/mobile-streak-7/pd?oc=n00lg702&model_id=mobile-streak-7&
the retail/unlocked s7 3/4g's likely have a new rom.
If anyone has purchased a 3/4g in europe that isnt an imported tmo one could they post info on their rom/dump it with nvflash?
This might be a dumb question but when the wifi only version is released is it possible to flash that rom to a 4g model? I really could care less if I had any service other than wifi. I have never used a sim and never will-I bought it new for $100 and only wan wifi.
It should work but there's a pretty good chance that it will break all cell service (but as you mentioned that's not important).
Dell stopped selling the wifi only model in europe and only sells the 3/4g model there now.
If they release HC for wifi they'll hopefully release it for the unlocked 3/4g one sold there.
Did you buy it on contract or not? i'd like a $100 s7

[Q] Does anyone have the overview of the different versions and sizes of Galaxy Tab?
What I've heard of so far without knowing what is released or not is and with no claim to accuracy
1. The original 7 inch (gsm and cdma)
2. Wifi only version
3. The 1010
4. 8.9 inch version
5. 7.7 inch version
6. 5.4 inch version
7. A new 7 inch version SGT + (or is this the same as the 7.7 ??)
Sent from my GT-P1000 running Boca 2.3.7
P1010 and Wifi are not the same?
-10.1 with HC
-Latin America versions [P1000l/N]
-Verizon, Sprint CDMA tabs
-never heard about 5.4 inch

Before anything greetings to all I have a query I have the tablet galaxy tab s2 model sm-t815c from taiwan or china (one of the two is) I'm waiting and waiting but does not appear the update to marshmallow, is still in lollipop 5.02, I was looking for information on various websites but nothing for my model, which I wanted to know is, if I install the rom from another model i.e. galaxy tab s2 sm-t815N0 of Korea , It has marshmallow, I doubt because with Android as much as I did was to put his hand to a galaxy s2 and then never more it touches anything, would have some problem of bricks or something so? The two devices have the same hardware, processor, connectivity etc, just change the bands, the other question that arises is that the lte bands are different, my country uses lte 4 aws which have rom Korean, and the mi has it, if I change it the bw4 on my device to be activated in order to use it?
Forgiveness by ask both, not want to put the leg and meet me with a super brick.

Recent 855(+) Snapdragon phones are Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) compatible for example the Note 10+ and the Oppo Reno 5G (tested myself a global version with 802.11 ax).
Now it same that the ViVo Nex 3 "could" not have Wi-Fi 6 ... For a flagship launched in september with a brand new Snapdragon 855+ fully hardware compatible with Wi-Fi 6 that's would be really strange ?
If it's really the case, is that something that can be add with an update in the future ?
I think i will response myself to this question before the end of the week because a "delivery man" should be coming knocking on my door with a "little" surprise for me
Wi-Fi is a little bit faster in comparaison to my NeX (1) but most important Dual Wi-Fi work !!! You can use 2 Wi-Fi Network 2.4 and 5Ghz in the same time !!! Really cool ?
Tnx
