As I understand it, there are two main versions of the E4 Plus, a USA version with a Snapdragon 427 and an international version with a Mediatek MT6737. Is there much of a difference between performance or anything else between these two versions?
Thanks

Yes.. I don't think you can use the mtk version in US tho.. Not really International for Americans
If someone could help me find out if its possible to pre-order or buy the s10 International (Exynos) variants from USA. Thanks
I think Bestbuy will be the best place to look.

Here's the info about usa Pre order and trade in.
Tried to pre order from the UK site, and they wont ship to the US. Not sure which version the unlocked version will be - they dont post model numbers... following for sure.

Thanks for the tip. Gonna pull the trigger on this. Really wanted prism green. Just need to get cracking on getting S-Pay to work on it.

I pulled the trigger on the Prism Green S10+ (G975F/DS) from them on Thursday. Looks like it is shipping out on Monday (I thought it might be last Friday) since they claimed it was in stock. I've bought a few phones from them before and they've always delivered so am hoping that they come through!
Reading on down that Ebay listing I see one thing in the specs that has me wondering.
"OS Android 9.0 (Pie); One UI
ChipsetExynos 9820 Octa (8 nm) - EMEA
Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) - USA/LATAM, China"
That doesn't mean that they will ship a Snapdragon model to the US does it bacause it sure reads that way unless that's just a copy/paste of Samsung's specs.
You're reading too much into it. It's just a copy paste.

When buying crap off Ebay, I never read too much into it.
Sorry for the bit off topic question but why would you even want the Exynos version? AFAIK the 855 beats the 9820 benchmark wise. The only reason I see to get the Exynos version is its 8K video recording potential (if we can hack it to work).

That's not really true from what I have seen, the Exynos beats out the Snapdragon in both single core & multicore, correct me if I'm wrong......

If Samsung's history with the past several S models remains the same, the Exynos version will have a fully unlocked bootloader, while the USA 855 models will be fully locked down.

You have a point there, but there is a possibility of network incompatibilities with US carriers. I heard that some T-Mobile bands are unsupported.

I can't speak to the S10 models, but I have both a T-Mobile (Qualcomm) and international (Exyonos) S7. I've never seen a difference in connectivity or download speeds between the two of them. I'm guessing the situation will be similar with the S10, but only time will tell. The reality for me is that the current speed and quality of connection I get is terrific, and I'd assume that either S10 version will at least equal and probably better what I'm getting now. Our needs all vary, of course, but I'll sacrifice some download speed (if that even ends up being the case) for an unlocked bootloader every time.
Is the SM-N9600 the same as the SM-N960 ??
I'm a little confused here lol
No, 9600 is the snapdragon variant for China and some other places in the world, it is usually dual sim and rootable.

Does anyone knows the difference between the tencent version 8/128 and 12/512. im only talking about the tencent version because i know that the 12/512 has a 4x4 mimo while the 8/128 only has a 2x2.

That's weird... have you actually seen a 512gb Tencent logo version in person, like in a store or something? Or just online sales? If just online, they could just be using the same picture for both...
its just in grey market they bought it from china.

I wonder too whats the different, I pre-ordered 12GB-RAM/512GB Tencent Version from local store (in Malaysia). Saw in Youtube/Facebook someone unboxing 12/512 tencent version, box is hexagon shape with active cooler 2 & 30 watt charger right out of the box. I guess maybe the ROM is in china version

From what I've seen, all the 8gb/128gb versions share the same bands, and all the 12gb/512gb versions share the same bands, regardless of ROM... but then again there is a ton of conflicting info out there, and I wasn't even aware there was a 512gb Tencent model, so I really can't say for sure.

Folks, i have now both versions at home from Tencent... the 8GB/128GB and 12GB/512GB... just happened so that first I ordered the 8GB version and then I noticed that LTE band 20 is missing... what was important for me. The shp told me that the 12 GB version has the LTE band 20. So I ordered the 12 GB and need to return the 8GB. But as I have them now both side by side, maybe I can answer some questions here until I will send back the 8 GB version.
The 12 GB had the Aero Cooler and 30W charger with 2 cables (USB type A to C, and USB Type C to C). The 8 GB did not come with this accessories. The cover from 8GB versin was a transparent plastic cover, the 12 GB version comes with this skeleton look case.. (forgot that name).

Apparently, they are selling the 128 GB version on INDIA too. And it isn't the Tencent VErsion. It is the global version one, with the aero case, but with the 18W charger and no cooler.

The Indian model is listed as having VoLTE and the only retailer I can find that has it listed is Flipkart. They list the model number as
ZS660KL-1A017IN
I'm guessing India is getting their own special version. IIRC Indian law requires a certain percentage of the phone to be manufactured in India.

I checked Kimovil yesterday regarding tencent version's supported bands for India, and it has all the necessary ones. Which leads me to believe that the phone will be very similar to the tencent version, with some better stuff like aero case and global firmware, but not that far off. For those without a ROG 2 yet it seems worth it to get it form there, but without expecting any additional bands IMO.

I said that the tencent version already has all LTE Bands for India, so the "India version", however different it may be with the aero case, global firmware, etc., most likely won't have a change of LTE Bands. At least that's what I think.
