My dad has my former SM-T813 tablet. He often complains the tablet is at low battery in the morning but I do not know what happened before. Maybe the tablet startet itself and therefore drained, but I am not quite sure.
Could you tell me which one is the best Custom ROM for this tablet? I eye on battery lifetime (yes I know this tablet has poor battery). The newest Android version is not needed, Android 7 is sufficient.
I currently have the latest stock lite from Svan987 installed:
[ROM] [7.0] Nougat [Abandoned] - Stock Lite v8 [T713-T813]
[ROM] [7.0] Nougat - Stock Lite v8 [T713-T813] Be aware that flashing this rom will void your warrranty ! If you decide to use a custom rom you will be the person at fault if something went wrong. Based on XXS2BSG1 for the SM-T813 Based on...

I have finished rooting my phone (XT1097) and now I'm looking at changing ROMs but before I do, I want to know what benefits there are of CM 12.1 (or another ROM) over the stock retail (Wind Mobile) ROM. There isn't much bloat on my phone and what's there is providing benefits (okay, maybe not spotlight). What would you say is the biggest benefit of removing the stock rom (now that it's rooted) and replacing it with [ROM OF YOUR CHOICE]? This assumes I get the stock 5.1 ROM soon.
More features, nice little additions. Some cases there may be better performance and battery life. I suggest you try everything and see what works for you best
I've been using Tesla ROM (Android 6.0) for a few months now, but it suffers from stability issues. I'm at the stage now where I don't care one bit about running the latest Android version or features, I could go back to Jellybean for all I care.
So I ask - what, in your experience, has been the most stable and battery-friendly firmware so far for the Xperia Z, completely ignoring features or "flavor"? Stock Jellybean? I do prefer the AOSP look and feel at this stage, but if there is no AOSP as good as stock then I'm willing to settle.
Thanks for your feedback!
I am using Slimkat 4.4.4 for butter smooth performance. And also the battery life is impressive. though I flashed KMA kernel to this rom and tweaked it by Kernel auditor. Now overall performance is best in the line.
i'm sure KK roms are way better than LP or MM Roms in battery aspects.
and personally i prefer miui 7 .because its based on stock KK (.283/.292) with all of sony stock features including sony camera, bravia engine,..... and miui look and feel.

stock 5.1.1 100% stable, even with custom kernel.
AOSP/CM/etc. lp/mm not stable.
Stock LP has horrible battery life.
Yeah, using MIUI for the moment. I actually ordered a new Redmi Note 4, so it's goodbye to the Yuga for me!

What do you think it is the best custom stock ROM for this device?

Recently i was using N Developer Preview (Android 7 from Z3). It was pretty fast and smooth but problem was with battery (it sucks). Now im on stock LP 5.1.1 rooted (not a Slim rom).
Thanks for suggestions went from stock and modified it balls to the walls
Hi,
I've been on 6.0.1 with kernel 3.10.84-OM5Z (rooted) for about a year now, but would like to update to the current best rom for fully functioning camera (with DRM patch), battery life and heat.
Have been watching and waiting regarding Nougat. What's the opinion? Which is the best stock-based rom/patched kernel combo to go for at the moment?
BR.
I am currently on android 7 of Miui and i don't really think that it is providing me sufficient battery backup. I really want to go back to android 6. Is there any way ?
I might also root my device.I am also looking for flashing a custom rom like lineage or ressurection remix mayb. Will i then be able to revert to official marshmallow or nougat ?
Just curious to know that will flashing the official Rom reset my device to the original state i bought it and the procedure to do it !
