Hi everyone,
I just replaced my LCD that I cracked with one I received from njbridges. It went in in about 10 minutes and was super easy to do, but I have a problem. If I go into the screen settings menu and click on "align screen", I can't actually do it. It shows the program and the cross hairs in the center of the screen, but when I touch it with the pointer, nothing registers. Now, the screen works perfectly, and appears that the touch alignment is exactly the same, but the issue I have is that I can now never hard reset to flash roms, etc, because if I do I will have to align the screen, which will not work.
Anyone else have this problem? I'm using a tilt, by the way.
Regards,
Jeff
which rom?

are you using the stock att tilt rom or a different. if different which one are you using. if your using dutty's rom with the cube the screen alignment is dissabled after the ROM and the initial alignment was made. also, if your using the tilt rom but downloaded the cube program separate that is another reason why as well. the alignment screen doesn't work with cube so they disable it when you install it. so, if you flash to a different rom the screen alignment will work fine. hope this helps, cheers....
Aaaahhhh!!!! Genius!!! You're all genius!
I'm running the stock ATT Rom, but I do have the cube running. So, if I uninstall the cube, the screen alignment will work again?

Okay, I uninstalled the biotouch cube, and it all works normally again!
Thanks so much!

Hi!
Back in the days with my old TyTn I used to use SPB Pocket plus' today screen plugin with a big TURN SCREEN OFF BUTTON on the screen and whenever I was done I would hit the button and turn my screen off. The problem is that this program comes with a lot off other stuff that I don't need. Does anybody know a small today screen plugin with a TURN THE SCREEN OFF capability
Hello all,
I would like to be able to lock the phone (disable touch screen and keyboard) without shuting down the screen and with the screen still displaying the running app.
Right now, when I press the handup button for the 2sec, it does lock the phone as expected but it also brings the Today screen back which is the concern.
I do not remember having that problem with WM6.0 but I definitively have it with WM6.1... could it be related?
Does anybody have a clue to help me with this ?
Thanks
David.
TyTN II - Taiwanese WM6.1 ROM (official from HTC)
Hmm I have 2 programs that have a "lock screen" command - QuickMenu and AEBPlus - and both will loch the screen on the currently focused app, not return to today screen.
Thanks for the info.
I ll try them and see if it helps.
Can anyone tell me how to change a screen from a Diamond? I have the mechanical manual but this jus show how to disamble the entire phone and not just the LCD screen.
Thanks in advanced
Willem
Hello, i hope someone can help me?
I have a problem with my T-Mobile compact 4 in that the screen goes out of alignment after time.
The phone has been sent back to tmobile for repair and they have replaced the inners, but the problem still creeps back?
The problem is that the right hand side of the screen seems to loose sensitivity and moves the area to click the icons to the right.
If i realign the screen the screen is ok for a while but then reverts back to the orignal problem.!
I just wondered if this is a common faul and if there is a fix for it?
Thanks all
Rob
