Okay, I just wanted to warn people about them. I'm not exactly sure why they have a really good deal of about $250 for the new Tilt (with plan), but I am now on my 4th Tilt today.
The first 3 all had numerous problems and I'm beginning to wonder if they were selling refurbished ones as new.
Anyways, I did another exchange today (my previous had a couple hot pixels) and they assured me it was brand new never opened.. lol all lies I tell ya.
I inspected the phone in the store and it looked like it was in solid condition, even the screen had no dead pixels and believe it or not, the camera is like a freaking nikon it's super smooth and takes awesome pictures (maybe it was sent back to htc and fixed? lol)
Well, I got home and began unpacking and getting ready to fully charge it before I do hard spl. I noticed the sd card slot was a tad open and I go to close it and find a 2gb SanDisk card in there. NEW IN BOX MY ASS. I went to the device info and see it had about 30 min of outgoing and incoming calls.
Anywho.. I got a free card out of it and a much better camera, but still.. they told me it was new and it wasn't. =\
-Eric
wow, i would definitely do something about that. tell them about it and maybe they will give you like a 100 dollar gift certifacate or something. can you post pics of the camera so that we can see how much/if better it is?
Yeah, I plan to.. I don't understand how it could be so slow on the previous ones and so much faster moving on this one (in light and dark).
Gonna be hard to show the quality of movement unless it's as smooth on video mode too..
i doubt they'll do anything. well, if it was best buy they wouldnt.
best buy has been busted a million times by selling old stuff as new. this is illegal by the way.
it happened to me and the manager told me that he would give me money back and that's it.
3 hours later, the remote control that I returned was again in the "new" bin
I just don't get it.. we as the consumer are paying good money for a NEW product. It should be that simple.
Go to "Best Buy Mobile" (there are stand-alone stores and store-in-store versions)... It's not best buy, it's Best Buy & Carphone Warehouse...
While I don't live abroad, I hear CPW has quiet a strong reputation
You will *never* get a phone that's previously been used (Unless you are using a loaner phone ;-)) -- And if you do, call 1-800-BESTBUY and let them know so they stop working for my company >:-( We don't want them.
Side note: Keep in mind a lot of phones have defects to begin with, certain phones recently released have had overheating issues (over 35% return rate so far for one particular model), others are spotty in terms of manufacturing; at least in some aspects... such as the tilt's D-Pad, or in another phones case, frequently touch sensors
wow thats cool. the camera really is better? it doesnt lag in the dark? has it ever crossed anyones mind...what if 2nd gen Kaisers are being made, ones with video drivers.
Lol, I highly doubt that. I'll post up some pictures of the quality but I'm not sure how to show the movement quality.. the video mode isn't as silky as the camera modes
Well, I got so sick and tired of the constant problems... I've finally ditched my ludicrously over-priced & under-performing TyTn 2 and upgraded to a 614c.
I'm bitterly disappointed in HTC and the quality of their products and I'll never entertain buying another one again.
The main (and most frustrating problem) was the fact the caller could rarely hear me, even with full signal. 6 months of "I can't hear you, you are fading in and out" just adds to the frustration regarding the video quality & bluetooth/parrot 3100 pairing issues.
I honestly don't know how HTC have the bare-faced cheek to sell, what is essentially, an unfinished product.
Performance-wise, my old Mio A701 walked all over the TyTn 2. It was quicker to startup, quicker during use and the video quality was FAR superior. Sure, the standard stylus breaks every few months but that's a £2.99 fix!
To give you an idea of how little use I've got from it, the total call timer says I've spent just 3hrs 28 minutes on the phone. I've spent longer on the phone to HTC trying to get the soddin' thing fixed.
// rant
sucks for you, but you definately had a defective unit. i've never had any problems with people hearing me, and have always had great voice quality. i also have no problems pairing with my bluetooth headset and using it flawlessly with voice command. good luck
omar
I agree with omaralt.. No problems on my side with the Tilt...
My ipaq 614c also ships from Clove tomorrow that is Monday.
I am not generally too unsatisfied with my TyTn II but it is the slow EDGE that is getting on my nerves.
Now I have taken a risk as I have never before used a non-HTC thing before.
Just hope the ipaq does not disappoint me as I am already hearing something about low external speaker volume and not so easy to use touch scroll wheel
Call quality is not a problem I hace ever had with my TyTN 2. Like others have said, maybe you had a defective unit.
never had that with mine *knock on wood
Please let us know about the 614c when it arrives.
I'm very interested in the performance of this device cause it is an interesting alternative to the Kaiser.
My entire office is using the kaiser, we've just had our phone/network provider in(orange) to talk about the multitude of problems.
Poor video quality(without a doubt), constantly losing connection to the network, poor reception(next to other phones), screen crashing, slow rotation, etc.
Theres a rule in the office, anyone who says 'i hate my phone' has to buy a round of drinks. Thats how bad it's got.
I never had these issues with my XDA, official rom(5 or 6) or not. I'd only recommend it to anyone if they buy it offline, qualifying them for manufacturer updates, which of course don't seem to appear from the network providers and don't work properly if you try anyways.
Thankfully i didn't pay anything for this piece of turd, i'd be really pissed if i did.
it sounds like your finding your self an excuse to move to another unit. if those problems were bothing you so much, why didnt you just post them here and there would most likey be fixes for all of them. NO device is perfect no matter how expencive it is. there will always be problems ehre and there and thats why people are constantly fixing them.
i personally am happy with my tilt i have never had any problems that you have mentioned before. its either the areea that your in or yes it oculd be that you have a bad phone.

If you had done your research before posting that, you would realise that I 'did' in fact post all the problems here and several people chimed in saying they'd had the same issues. After 6 months, 3 returns and several frustrated customers, I don't need to find an excuse to replace the unit. I'm replacing it because as many of you have already proven, it's a half-baked attempt at a decent PDA. The video issue is unforgivable, so too is the lack of response from HTC.

It's certainly not the area. I have had numerous phones over the years and never experienced these issues before. Nokia 3210, Nokia 7650, Sony/E T68Motorola V525, Mio A701 and they didn't struggle to get a signal. The TyTn 2 says it has full signal, but the microphone still fades in and out.

Apart from the keyboard, it's better equiped than the TyTn 2. How it looks really doesn't bother me... I'm more interested in useable functionality.
In terms of speed & video quality, it wipes the floor with the TyTn 2! I didn't expect a brand new, £480 smartphone to lag when scrolling! I have a 2210 here testing a new RDBMS system, and that runs perfectly.
You have to admit, HTC have dropped the ball in some areas!
Only problem I have had was when I first purchased the unit, swapped it out with a new one - no problems.
The video really is not that big of a deal - Coremedia player plays the video fine for what I require and not that picky. Everything is sweet!
Find it hard to think that the mass units sold of this device and the success HTC & ATT&T has had with it that only a selective few have problems.
Good luck with the new device..

i understand when people are frustrated over devices especially when they dont do what they are sappose to do. taht is one of the reasons why i spent so much money in the past swapping out phone because there was never one that would have to meet my expectations, but then i realized that in this day and age there cannot be "perfect"
i am sure when you swap out for the ipaq you are going to find things on that you dont like.
the ipaq is newer so..... could be a change
Hi Mike 19722
Why do you say so. Just because of the looks and size or do you have you experienced the device. You know I am worried because mine is on order from Clove as a replacement for my TyTn II. Hope I have not made a wrong decision.
Thanks and do let me know if it is just the looks which bother you.

Perhaps andaroo exaggerated a bit, but there is some truth behind it. With the exception of smaller size and the addition of GPS, the Kaiser is more or less on par with my years-old Blue Angel (which still works nice without a single patch or update). I have had so many phones, but the Kaiser gave me the maximum headaches, this is for sure. We're really doing field tests & debugging for HTC here.

this as posted by visionit, not by myself!
I disagree with the above statement!
moreover I would say the htc/se experia 1 is an unfinished product!
I understand why you would want to defend your own phone, but you cannot ignore the fact that HTC have done little to assist frustrated users wrt the gfx issues, laggy scrolling, slow functionality and the overall 'dated' feel of the product.
As I said earlier, the Mio A701 (whilst missing some of the functionality of the TyTn 2) still outperformed it in nearly every way. That is unforgivable! The TyTn 2 was nearly double the price and in my eyes, it's not even half as good.
Faulty products I can deal with, but pi$$ poor service AND a faulty product I cannot! 3 returns, countless telephone calls, 6 months, several angry customers... where would 'you' draw the line?
I'd disagree about the 614c being 'ugly', but I guess that's subjective. I couldn't care less if it was pink with frills; as long as it worked properly. The TyTn 2 (as good as it looks) just doesn't perform as well as it should. The hardware is good, but it's bottle-necked by something...
Hi Guys
heard this phone can be sluggish. If you apply the tweaks above, do you still thing the phone is sluggish and how long does the battery last? Ive also heard that the cellular reception is crap?
Please give me your honest thoughts.
Please factor in that i'm a power user. I use everything from Word/Excel/Pocket Outlook through to Internet Sharing ... almost constantly.
isn`t there enough reviews and opinion threads onto this device here already ? is it really needed to settle down another one ?
my answer : YES it`s worth
The way I see it is like this. There is no phone that will einterly do what we want. The battery life is not much and it is a bit slow using the touch3d today. But for most part it works very good. It can multi task (so I can listen to music and play a game or internet at the same time)
There will always be those that will love it (I love the phone) and those who will try to bring it down. But that you will get with every phone that will come out.
I am no Iphone lover. Nice design and smoother, but to few programs that or compatible with it.
So you see, it's just where you stand. I guess if you have a girlfriend, you love her, but their will always be things of her you will not like, but you will accept it.
wow nice chap.
A few examples:
Can you just clarify for me if those "reviewers" and opinions have had the tweaks applied? Very few mention the tweaks either installed or not.
Are they heavy Office Mobile users?
I notice very few ... i mean NO .... comments from people using internet sharing.
As for reading reviews online from other site, you can pretty much garuntee they don't have these tweaks installed. I found ONE that did, a guy on CNet in Hong Kong.
So no, there are not enough reviews. I would like to hear from people who have applied these tweaks and use the apps above and internet sharing. i.e. heavy, business users of the Diamond. Anyone out there?
edit: your sig suggests you need to chill out a bit.
Thanks for the response Oddball and indeed you are correct. At the end of the day, its very much personal preference.
Are you an extensive user of Office Mobile and IS? If so, how do you find the phone using these apps (usualy for me, in meetings taking notes etc) and the battery life/performance?
What I think...
I find the device very useful for updating spreadsheets on the move, most of the time i can use the screen as normal with the finger, but depending on what tasks you want to do the stylus may need to come out.
It is great being able to edit, view and send office documents tho. I find the diamond the best of the bunch for doing this. I would say that the Touch Pro maybe better tho, as the QWERTY keyboard brings obvious benefits, see more of the screen when editing documents, more control using the keys and easier data entry.
For me tho the size of the device is important and the Touch Pro looks like its on the porkie side! After owning all manner of Windows Mobile phones and devices, including the Ameo, after having that beast (which if it wasnt for the size I would def rate as the best Windows Mobile Device ive had, 5" VGA Screen and 8gb MicroDrive, excellent stuff) ive got used to not using a hardware keyboard and i prefer the smaller, keyboardless device.
The speed of the Diamond, for me, even without the tweaks, is acceptable. I have 1.37 rom and a UK English or WWE Official UK Stock Diamond. Im more than happy with my device, excellent screen quality, very good in sunlight to. Camera is also very good (with the back cover off! cough cough! htc!!!!!!!! silly buggers!)
Regarding the Internet Sharing, i have not needed to do this as yet but I used to use the feature in the Tmobile Ameo and it was very useful if in a Wifi-less hotel or b&b. I tend to just use the built in Opera Browser and many times this has got me outta using my laptop.
(example - needed to price check an item that i was purchasing so just used Opera Internet Browser and i was tapping around and price checking within minutes)
For me the Diamond is excellent and that is thanks to the dedication and persistance of people on this forum. For me the Diamond experience will only get better.
Hope this helps!
thats all excellent info Tom, thanks very much!!!!!! Just the sort of stuff I am after
Must admit, I currently own a G900 (800x480 screen/qwerty popout) and its awesome for browsing/office etc but, I just can't live without an internal GPS anymore. Its amazing how annoying it is to think "I can just turn on the gps .... no wait, i didn't bring it out with me" gets.
How do you find the battery life whilst doing all that? Do you use push email or pop/smtp? I hear that the cell radio reception is poor, if so, do you find this affecting your battery a lot with regards to email collection/sending?
More on the Diamond Experience...
I do sometimes find that the Signal Strength is a bit poorer than ive had on previous devices, eg the Tmobile Ameo, but im sure with the guys beavering away on this forum it wont be long before a Radio update will fix that. Unless HTC pull their finger out and start taking comments on board and update as often as they can...not holding much hope. Thanks XDA Devs! At least your on the ball!
Battery life, so far, for me personally (who only has Bluetooth / wifi / internet connection when they need it) has been acceptable. Most Windows Mobile phones, when they first come out, suffer from pants battery life. I agree it is a measly capacity battery, but already extended life batteries are coming out, I however, for the moment, wont be purchasing one, but I would say someone such as yourself, it may be worth investing in one if you are to have a constant internet connection via 3G / GPRS or Wifi.
For emailing, usually just checking them I use my Diamond to receive via email via POP accounts and it has been fine doing this. Using both WIFI connections where possible and also using the 3G connection its done this brilliantly but to be honest every Windows Mobile device ive ever owned (going back to 2002 when the first SPV has came out) has been able to do this quickly and painlessly.
I agree with you, having owned a Touch Dual and a Touch and having wished they both had GPS integrated its great having it built in. Initially it took about 5 mins to find the Satellites but after it did this ive found about 20 secs and i have a fix and everythings spot on.
Having the great quality screen also helps to, as the sharp crispness is brilliant and a welcome addition to the already feature rich device that it is.
Full marks HTC for providing a small, very compact, but at the same time a feature rich phone that does everything apart from make you a cuppa tea (but can control your light switches to.... http://www.coolsmartphone.com/news4114.html whatever next! hehe!)
Will be happy to answer any more questions, please dont flame me for what I say (anyone out there) im giving you my PERSONAL experience of the phone about how I use it and understand that this may not be the case for everyone.

Exactly!
Again, thanks for a very full and detailed response. I must admit the battery life does concern me ... a lot. As mentioned I have a G900 and with its very high res screen and rubbish 3g radio, it sucks battery life. So much in fact that I virtually doubled its depth with a 3000mah battery. Having said that, I didnt realise extended batteries are already coming out for the Diamond and this gives me some confidence.
As for the email, I too have been very happy with WM devices retrieving/sending. I was more concerned with the battery life with push mail on all the time but, guess you covered that with the extended battery options
I think my next step is now back to google to see what the extended batteries do to the shape and size of the phone.
Thank you very much for your informed and helpfull opinions
Trust me, it's not slow with newer Roms. TLR rom for instance runs great, and using the TFLO3D for 'daily purpose' is just mavellous. Not slow at all.
Just opening mailbox then takes about 3 seconds. Well poe. It's with all WM devices mostly. I can wait 3 seconds ?
PRoblem is people start tapping twice, or tapping other things. Just know how to use it and enjoy it.
It's definatedly worth it.
Extended Life Batteries
No worries, glad I could help.
I found more info on the extended life batterys here
http://www.modaco.com/content/pocke...he-41-p-p-diamond-extended-battery-available/
You also get shipped a replacement cover to (because of the depth of the battery)
As the diamond is a very slim device anyway I cant see it adding alot of bulk to the device, but like i said, for the moment im gonna stick with it as standard.
I have read somewhere of a 1800mah battery that was half the price of the one above, that may be worth investigating (think it was from Clove in the UK)
If you have any more questions, ask away, I will keep me eye out!
there is indeed and it is by clove!
http://www.clove.co.uk/viewProduct....Category=CB077B5C-390D-4153-8EDD-44D1B2BEF716
It also appears to have a flat back rather than the "diamond" type. At 1800mah it should power this little device a few seriously hard worked days
Thats the one I think I would go for if i was gonna get any.
The flat back is a good idea (altho to be honest its not that unstable on its back with the diamond shaped cover on it) but the capacity would mean a good few days use outta it.
And the price is reasonable to. Be nice to find out how much extra bulk the battery adds to the phone, i think im gonna email Clove to find out.
call me curious! hehe!
EDIT ** Email sent 1st July - 3:09 - Will wait and see and will post my findings on here...
I think this one could be even better - http://www.easydevices.co.uk/products.asp?partno=BATCRUISEEXTD&model=
I think i remember seeing this one in another thread somewhere. Notice the battery part no BATCRUISEEXTD on the website.
I didnt think the Touch Cruise had the same size battery compartment as the Touch Diamond? Is this just an error on the website, or is it because they just bundle a Touch Diamond bigger back cover with it?
Will be interesting to find out. Thats one huge momma of power!

Got a reply back from Clove today and this is what they said:
Tom
Thank you for the email. We are waiting for the first of these
batteries to come through. As a result at this point we are unable to
comment on how much thickness the battery actually adds.
However based on the manufacturers other extended batteries, we can say
that they keep additional thickness to a minimum and are very good at
ensuring the casing is designed to be as slim and functional as
possible.
Guess its watch this space till they are released then!
well, having finaly seen an Omnia with a screen shot of Excel running and the popup keyboard, the keyboard took up virtually all the screen and made it to me, unusable
I've bitten the bullet and bought a Touch with an 1800mah battery.... I just REALLY hope that build quality has significantly impoved over the TyTN and BlueAngels i've had in the past... fingers crossed!
Thanks for all the advice Tom & others!

Hi all - my poor Kaiser has suffered the dreaded RLOD. Tried every possible fix short of a new battery... which I should get in the mail this week.
If the phone itself is bricked, what would people recommend in terms of a replacement/upgrade? I'm in Canada on Rogers so it has to be a GSM phone. Generally use it for business apps.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Slider keyboard, Touch Pro II or AT$T Tilt 2: Screen keyboard, Touch HD. Or wait for HTC's rumored ( and I think just a rumor, complete with " leaked " photoshopped pics) superphone, the HTC Leo.
"Tilt II" or (cheap) Kaiser
I was in the same position a couple days ago.
I decided to replace mine with another Kaiser. And I got the part to fix my dying phone as well, for a bit more. Less than $200 spent for two.
In good condition a Kaiser can be had for well under $150.
A fixer-upper can be pieced together for well under $100. (you've torn a Kaiser apart a few times? New screen, etc?) Parts are cheap and a junker to fix (Broken screen or hinges...) is almost free.
But if I were willing to have a contract, the Tilt II or a variant with number keys across the top... sure looks good. I haven't compared the size and weight, but since I already carry a tiny brick, it would be fine, I'm sure. I understand it's better in a few ways. (Audio jack, Screen resolution) and with more horsepower, the screen updates may be quicker, accelerated drivers or not!
I went with the Kaiser, but I did not know about the Tilt II until after I had purchased. Saved me some money, and now I have a backup with identical (but not as pretty) hardware.
Seems like win-win with either platform!

Not sure what to suggest re a replacement (and your budget will likely come into it as well) but how about detailing all the fixes you've tried - you may have missed one or two and there have been extensive posts on the topic here. It'd be much preferable, I'm sure you agree, to fix it at low or nil cost rather than having to buy a replacement.
Hey guys - first off, thanks for the suggestions above. The offerings from my carrier are weak (best right now is Touch Diamond) but I may look for an aftermarket Tilt 2.
Flying Kiwi, I would definitely be happy to get my Tilt working again - even just to squeeze a few more months out until the Hero is available here. I've read through every thread I could find about RLOD and haven't had any luck. Its actually the second time I've had the red light... the first time was about three months ago. I left the SIM and battery out overnight and the next day it came back to life... but my battery life was severely shortened after that. I could barely get 8 hours out of it before it was at 0%.
On Friday of last week it ran out of juice completely and RLOD was waiting for me in the morning. I tried leaving the battery and SIM out as before and I actually did get the amber light back at one point. I immediately plugged the charger in and hoped it would be fine like last time. Unfortunately the red light was back about 2 minutes later.
Based on the various posts on the subject, I've tried pressing buttons in a specific order, tried "jump starting" the battery, cleaned the contacts, etc... not even a hint of life. That's why I'm thinking that a new battery might be the only chance I have left. But if you know of any other methods I'd love to try!
Man, I miss my phone.....
Sounds familiar

If you do have a known fully charged battery (perhaps borrowing a friends one) it'd be worth performing a hard reset. It does sound like a spot of the same trouble I briefly had a year or so ago though and I rectified it very quickly with a careful, thorough contact clean (both the spring contacts and battery terminals). I realise you've said you performed a contact clean but what did you use and how did you do it? I don't know if you're aware but it's possible for invisible film to ruin the connection and what looks like a clean connection could still be to blame... If you have a cradle charger, you could also try charging the battery in that before fitting it and perfoming a hard reset. They're cheap enough to buy and enable you to charge 2 batteries at a time (1 in the phone and 1 in the cradle bay).
No luck.... just tried to clean it again with acetone and still the red light. Twas a good thought though!!
And I've searched around for a replacement battery but no one around here has this particular phone... its not generally available up here so I bought one from eBay.
Contact cleaner is cheap enough

I wouldn't give up on that being a cause, especially given the 2 mins on charge scenario. I suggest you use the product specifically designed for such cleaning jobs, contact cleaner (and apply it with the end of a cotton bud soaked in the stuff). A few gentle rubs with this will ensure it's electrically connecting fine.

I bought a battery (and cradle charger bundle) from eBay for my Kaiser and although it works, the quality certainly wasn't up to the original one that came with the phone. It doesn't fit as well either and causes the back cover to protrude a little rather than sitting flush. Twas very cheap though

hehe, ok I'm not particularly patient
I will definitely leave it charging overnight and hope that it decides to spring to life. My biggest concern is that the red light stays on even if the battery out - while plugged in of course. Just makes me think the phone itself is pooched.

I wish I'd thought of that before ordering this new battery... although if it works I'll likely order another battery and cradle as a back up right away.
Although now that I'm looking at these Touch Pro 2s on eBay they're looking very tempting.

You needn't think that because the battery has to be installed (and working) for the phone to run - I'd definitely suggest you don't try charging without a battery installed again. This is because some electronic circuits which are designed to be run under load can sometimes be damaged if powed up while not loaded (PSUs inside PCs are a good example). It's worth buying a small can of specialist contact cleaner. It's cheap enough and will do the best job possible in the situation if used with some cotton buds/Q-Tips.

You mustn't have got to the bit with the price in it then (nor checked whether they have full Qualcomm accelerated graphics driver support to perform optimally for an MSM72xx chipset device) Still, they do appear to be an improvement over the Kaiser if only a limited one.
I'd definitely suggest you don't try charging without a battery installed again.

Um how do you charge a battery without it being in the phone? Seriously you have the strangest advice ever..
? get another battery and hard reset to the phone to fix the red light? Wouldn't the friends battery just show you that he needs another battery?
Dear person with broken phone. Try your new battery, Good luck..
Seems like the original battery is worn out and the phone has drained every drop. Most likely there are some capacitors or something that aren't getting charged because of the charger board not having power.. I've seen devices that work like this, there isn't enough juice to start it up and charge the battery or even power the phone properly. I'm sure there is some sort of small bios type battery on there that is drained as well.
Giving it my best shot

I give up, how do you charge a battery without it being in the phone? It is possible to plug in the charger and power it without a battery installed however (although the phone wont boot in this state) and this may cause damage.

It may but a hard reset may also show that some corruption in the ROM may be to blame or contributing to the problem and of course a hard reset isn't possible with a flat battery. I'm not willing to rule either out as a potential cause of the problem at this stage.

Something we agree on again ChumleyEX, see we do have alot in common you know. I even like cats too
Well damn, I can't say anything negative to someone that likes cats.
Hey guys - I appreciate all of the advice, really do.
Good to know that the red light should be on while charging with the battery out... not something I was doing for a long period, just happened while I was trying the various fixes. Hopefully the new battery comes in and works because I wouldn't be rushing to drop $700+ on a Touch Pro 2.
Oh and I like cats too.
Wanted to provide a (late) update. My Kaiser's problem was purely battery-related. I finally got a new battery today and the RLOD cleared up right away.
Not sure if it will come back or whether my battery life will be compromised, though...
I've got my Nexus One, in pretty much fantastic condition. Zagg cover since day one and no major issues.
It does have the common bug where screen becomes unresponsive when you connect a charger to it but I was told that there's no fix for that.
It's got a few extras: screen protector, cover, UK adapter, cleaning cloth
Bought in April, then 3 weeks later I got the Desire so this has been sat around doing nothing much.
I'm looking to get rid of it now, but have no idea what it's worth. I don't plan on selling it on here but just want to know if someone can give me an idea of how much I can expect for it!
Thanks in advance
well my N1 never had that common bug. I checked again after your post and nothing as you described.
For excellent condition and unlocked, I would say on average in the range of £240-270. For brand new, £290-320. If the bug is very noticeable prob in the range of £180-220 ( few noticeable dents and marks). £250 is the sweet spot for most N1 in good condition. Try Hotdeals Uk.
Thanks, I was certain that I'd read something like that on Modaco, maybe it was something else then.
If it is faulty hardware then I should be able to get it fixed as it's still in warranty. If not I'll list for the cheaper price you said.
I guess the first step is to start using the phone again for a couple of days and see if that issue's still there
Thanks for the help, at least I've got an idea of how much to expect for it
Well I (6 weeks or so ago) sold a brand new, in box, Nexus one on eBay to a chap in Ireland for £325.
Also, might be worth considering unlocking the boot-loader and flashing a popular Rom and adding that in to the selling notes. The normal people love words like "Unlocked" and so on. I bet you could reach the same kind of price if you sell it well (even if it is used).
Dude, YOU CANT SELL nexus one. Because its best phone. I dont thing you want to just quit mobiloty or you want to?
