Unable to get into Bootloader mode after installing HardSPL - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hi guys,
Please forgive me for asking the question, I've spent the last two hours searching for someone with a similar issue and can't find anything.
Basically I'm wanting to sim unlock my UK Orange TyTn II (Kaiser). I've read through the unlock thread and know that I need to install HardSPL. I've installed v1 - it all goes through fine but I don't seem to be able to get into bootloader mode.
I've flashed the radio image as per step 5 (step 1 folder) and this went through okay and changed the radio image. I reflashed it to 1.27.12.17 and during the flash process where it takes the phone into bootloader mode as part of the ROM update utility I could see it said SPL-1.0.OliPoF on the 2nd line of the bootloader (which means HardSPL is installed doesn't it?)
No matter what combination of buttons I've tried - holding the camera button firmly, holding the camera and power button and reset I just can't get the thing to go into bootloader mode using either a soft reset or from a clean power on. I've tried it with and without sim card and sd card to no avail.
My original rom versions were:
r 1.27.12.29
g 22.45.88.07h
d 1.81.00.00
Obviously the radio version is now different but the other two remain the same.
I'm confident that HardSPL is installed, I just can't get to the bootloader!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh dear.
I've just put my orange sim card back in and I'm still getting the network locked please input unlock code that I got with the "strange" sim card even when I've overwritten the radio rom with a newer version.
Balls
--update--
Tried another radio version and still it says network locked with original orange sim card, so I've got no choice but to try to get the bootloader thing sorted as I can't use my original sim now. Ever wish you'd not started something?
--update--
Paid £20 to IMEI-Check.
--final update--
Updated to Dutty's latest ROM, everything is fine, still unable to make the phone go into bootloader mode so no idea whats going on there. HardSPL is definately installed. This new ROM is so much nicer than the orange factory setup.
Serves me right for being stupid

the same here but with hermes.. from SPL 1.09 tried to install hardSPL v7, done it NOT in bootloader mode, processed to 'finished' page, WM is working, but can't get to bootloader anyhow.. installed drifferent ROM, succeeded, but can't get to bootloader either.. any ideas what is going on??

Wizard (MDA) will not get past the boot screen

Hi, i have been trying to upgrade my mda to the wm6 <http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324632> and now my mda will not get passed the boot screen. i have tried reverting back to the tmobile 2.26 version to no avail. i have also tried using mtty to set 14 0 with no response from the device and task 23, etc does nothing either.
Anyone ever have this happen when these resolutions will not work?
Please help!!!
did you put your phone into bootloader by pressing and holding the camera then pressing the reset button?
Yes, i can get into the bootloader and load images, its just that they will not get past the boot screen on a normal boot.

I have seen this happen in 2 different sitations. One is that you installed software while the HTC Home Plugin is enabled on your today screen, and the other is installing 3rd party software not compatible with WM6.
My reccomendation is to hard reset the device and i you are still having the same problem afterwards, put the device in bootloader mode and flash your carriers latest rom. If that will not work then try Wizard love rom.
Also another option is to flash the button rom and then try the t-mobile 2.26 rom.

He can't get past the boot loader so it's not a matter of applications errors
@ dgrandestaff
Is your phone CID unlocked? If so then try the SD card method : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=276963
i have tried hard resetting hte device and reflashing with the button rom and tmobile's latest rom (2.26). They install but when i try to reboot, it just hangs on the initial boot screen.
I did run the cid unlock wizard as suggested when i started this process but i suspect that maybe that did not work correctly.
i'll try the sd method shortly and see what i get.
Thanks...

BLANK SCREEN AFTER ATnT Screen and 3G screen..HELP

So i just attempted to flash my tilt.
These are the steps i did.
Used Jump SPL 1.56 Kais
Then flashed a Kaiser Custom RUU.exe
everything was good at this point.
I then attempted the Kaiser SUperCID tool
when i did the unlock radio is when the problem occurred. After initializing and completing the screen turned black and does not display anything after the 3g sreen. I have done several soft resets and am attempting to do a hard reset with the soft keys but all it does is restart the phone....
i am not able to do a hard reset via sys>clear storage since no screen is displayed
this is what my phone does show
the tri color screen is this
kais1*0
spl-3.28.Hard
cpld-8
and it says security unlocked above all of that.
The ATnT screen shows this
R 1.70.Olinex
G 25.65.30.04h
D 1.62.00.00
please help
You need to follow step 0. Too late know. Which includes having an actual "RADIO" ready.
1.70OliNex is not a Radio. Thusly the Device can't load the Phone. Find a Radio and Flash it
Oh And Count this as your Freebie. Next time Search for your answer. And if you don't find the answer this should have been posted in the SuperCID thread.
Thank you kind sir. Off to look for a radio

Before you go off.
Here's something to try. The SIM/CID Unlocker do not work with the stock rom and you should have put hardspl on there.
Setup activesync and make sure that it detects your phone. As long as activesync works, you should be able to flash the stock rom and radio on the phone (even if the display is blank).
1st use jumpspl
then put on hardspl (read and follow the hardspl instructions)
then upgrade to 6.1 ROM
Then Unlock
then reflash with the rom of your choice with the matching radio
you should be good to go.
well i finally figured out the hard reset, which i did. It booted up and i was able to do the screen alignment etc, but once i was on my actual home screen it CUSTOMIZED and loaded a bunch of who knows what and back to the blank screen...
well i do have hard spl 3.28. I will try again....Im also not sure if my phone is 6.0 or 6.1

If you have hardspl on there, then just flash one of the cooked roms on the phone. I loaded the L26 Rom and it works great. It will include a radio firmware and is compatible with the SIM/CID unlocker.
the question i have is how do you flash without being able to execute the program from the phone? How am i able to execute it from the active sync?

Have you connected it to the computer via usb? Does activesync see the phone? You won't see anything on the phone itself until you correct the problem. As long as the computer activesync sees the phone you should be able to flash it from the computer.
I had the same issue
Just follow the steps
get the SIM unlock code from the computer
then flash a "real radio"
Once it finishes and boots up
it will ask you for the sim unlock code
AND VIOLA!!!
got it going
flashed it from my mini sd card after fat32 formatting it.
works like a charm
Thanks to everyone

Unlocking Flaw

Hey guys,
I recently bought a code from http://raphael.htc-unlocks.com/ and I cant seem to get past the second step.
There are 3 steps. The first being to install a HardSPL which is version 1.83 I believe.
The 2nd step is unlock the radio
After step 1 and an automatic restart, I reconnect the phone in activesync mode and click on the 2nd step.
Theres a dialogue box that tells you what the program is currently doing. But when I click on unlock radio all it does it say "Communicating with device..." and it stays like this for hours. The phone's screen doesn't change either, it just stays at my home screen.
If anyone has had the same problem or has a solution, I would very much appreciate it.
The program is called diamondunlocker.exe
Rogers Network
Cheers!
Ok, So I just ran threw the first step again and heres what I found...
My ROM before I HardSPL'ed it : 193.631.8 WWE
My ROM after the restart: 193.631.8 WWE
As you can see instead of being ROM 1.35 ( sorry, my mistake in the above post) its still at the stock ROM
Im going to take a swing at it, but because it wasnt HardSPL'ed properly, the second step, which is to unlock the radio, won't work because its a 3rd party thing?
My radio version is 1.00.25.06 as well
I tried installing Windows Mobile 6.5 using the somewhat same method (bootloader, CustomUU, etc.) but no luck.
Also, I NEED an active Rogers SIM card in the phone during the time of HardSPL'ing right? Ive been doing all this without a sim card in the phone..
Cheers!

Enter bootloader, although it's obviously bricked?

Hello there,
I messed up my just acquired used HTC Breeze. Isn't too bad, as it wasn't so expensive and it had SIM lock anyway. So hadn't I done anything, then I wouldn't have been able to used it as well.
My question: The info 2 - command returned "HTCSF kEØ(HTCE", so as far as I understand the bootloader has been bricked. But why can I still get to the three-color-screen? I always thought, this is only possible, if the bootloader is not bricked. I'm very sure I read about that regarding a HTC Canary.Or isn't that the case anymore with never devices?
In case anyone's interested, the whole story:
I tried the Hermes unlocker-method, but couldn't get it to work. The first problem was, that SSPL didn't work, because my phone was app-locked. Well removing the app-lock wasn't that hard.
I eventually managed to find out, how exactly this SSPL-stuff works. However, I still couldn't use the Hermes-unlocker. Flashing with SD-card wouldn't work - and using the RUU would only cause the phone to reboot, hence leaving the SPPL and being stuck with the normal bootloader, which wasn't unlocked (sorry if that sounded too untechnical - you probably know, what I mean).
So my last hope was the thread "Application UNLOCK/SSPL/HARDSPL" . First I upgraded to SPL 1.09 (might have been a bad choice, as I didn't think it through). Phone would still work then. Then I tried RUU_MTeoR_1.34.251.1_1.38.00.10_HTCEUR_SHIP , which is where I probably broke my bootloader, as it wouldn't start the OS after successfully flashing. (although it was IPL 1.00 and SPL 1.09, if I remember correctly).
Then I flashed RUU_BREE100_1.13.251.2_1.06.00.10_QtekEUR_Ship_R3 via SD-Card, cause it's said to have SPL 2.05. With that I wanted to do the final step in the said posting - flashing hardspl, so that I'd get SPL 7.77 anytime, without SSPL. I thought, the Hermes unlocker might work then. Only it was a dead end. After flashing to RUU_BREE100_1.13.251.2_1.06.00.10_QtekEUR_Ship_R3, I couldn't get anything to work anymore. And now I'm stuck with IPL 0.90 and SPL 1.09. End of the Story
If you can see three color screen (bootloader) that's mean it's ok Try flash with shipped ROM from the bootloader mode. I can upload it to you, but I have to know your device brand (CID lock)...

Back from Android to WM6 problems

Hello everyone!
I recently installed Android Froyo 2.2 (Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo RLS15 All Language), following mainly this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=602, and also reading many others, about hardspl etc.
Everything went perfect! The phone workes just fine, full functioning!
My problem is that, after deciding to go back to windows mobile for selling my phone, I followed these steps :
"Switching back is very easy. All you gotta do is download your favorite WinMO rom, and rename RUU_Signed.nbh to KAISimg.nbh and place it on your SD card along with KAISDIAG.NBH.
Place the SD into your Kaiser and hold the Power button and camera button down, then take your stylus and hit the reset button. Follow the instructions on the screen to flash your Kaiser. When the flashing is done you should be back to running Windows Mobile."
I downloaded the shipped rom RUU_signed_WWE_1.56.405.5_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.17 but the update process stopped at about 1/3, and the phone rebooted with Android OS.
Also, when I press the power button+camera button, for a new update flash, after the three colors screen(KAIS130, SPL-3.07.0000, CPLD-8), the message "Loading..." appears and stucks.
I guess, my phone no longer has hardspl, and there is no way to put it back, neither put back the signed rom, if there is no WM os????
Any help/suggestions???
Thank you very much, in advance
I suggest you follow the tutorial switch back to Windows Mobile by Dukenukemx ~ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6461906&postcount=1
looks like a really lost hardspl. Maybe this will help you get back to windows http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Kaiser_stuck_at_bootloader

One question:
What version radio was on the phone BEFORE attempting a WinMoBlows flash?
It looks like the shipped rom had the 1.27.12.17 radio included in the bundle and, if so, this would explain the error in flashing.
One thing to check would be at the bottom of "Settings" page, touch "About Phone". Towards the bottom you will see "Baseband Version". The numbers at the end are your radio version and should be the original radio numbers. If it says "1.27.12.17", you've found one problem...
I would say follow dukenukem's post and try to reflash HardSPL again.
I haven't run into this problem yet since I will probably never sell either of my Kaisers... lol.
same problem at my place...
installed android, about 2 month ago, wanted to switch back to win and couldnt do it that simple as say "Switching back is very easy. All you gotta do is download your favorite WinMO rom, and rename RUU_Signed.nbh to KAISimg.nbh and place it on your SD card along with KAISDIAG.NBH. " in Dukenukemx's tutorial.
I have tried everything putting on sd card many ROM's Hardspl's, then i found this on my pc RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88. 07_1.27.12.11_Ship when i try to flash via usb (manually enter bootloader and connect usb cable) it get to 1% and reboots and ond rom update software says ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID and above Exit button says: VER4-KBKV5867-HUEbc568-KBKV58670...
and when i try same rom to flash via sd card it says
Loading...
Checking...
0028002
Not Allow
with any other it stay's at 0% on phone and nothing is showed, then on RUU says ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR and down is button Recovery, tried a lot's of times nothing...
Then i saw that you PoXFreak said to check radio in baseband mine is 1.65.17.56
any sugestions please?
Another user with problems...
Tried a return from android to windows mobile because of the random locks that were happening in android (also some other weirdnessess...)
Now when it is put a microSD with kaisimg or kaisdiag it goes into white loading screen and stay there...
(tried flashing Kaiser_HTC_ASIA_HK_WWE_3.34.721.2, that seemed to be the one who came with my phone)
The baseband message somebody talked above shows only "HTC"
When in tricolor bootloader the following is showed:
security unlocked
KAIS***
SPL-3.28.0000
CPLD-8
(Still gonna try updating it connected to the computer, seems like usb and serial dettection are working, for it will dettect the charger connection and start showing USB in the lower part of the screen, battery got very low overnight, still needing to charge it to really do some test)
_____________
Update:
Flashed ok through USB, just entered tricolor bootloaded, connected usb and executed the original rom installer.
hello everyone
I used to have this kind of problem.. my hard spl broke when i tried to flash a stock wm rom from android.
In my opinion, each stock roms comes with specific SPL, radio version, etc. It means that when you are trying to flash stock rom, you also flashing new SPL. the problem is, the new SPL broke your hard SPL so you won't be able to flash anything to your kaiser except your original stock rom which comes with your kaiser.
you can find some stock roms for kaiser here : http://shipped-roms.com
Since I'm only sure that my kaiser originaly comes with WWE version I almost tried all the WWE stock roms there, but my search ended when I flashed RUU_Kaiser_CINGULAR_WWE_1.62.502.0_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.14.09R2_Ship.exe, this rom works for my phone and it seems that only this rom didn't give me "invalid vender ID" message.
so, keep trying to find your original stock rom
and after you managed to flash your stock rom, don't forget to flash hard-SPL again if you still want to mess around with your kaiser.
good luck
Another way to do it, albeit a little tougher, would be to use Oli's NBH tool and remove the SPL and radio from a stock rom. That way you get to keep the radio and SPL while flashing a stock rom.
Keep in mind that some WM roms only like certain radio versions, and you may end up having to flash an older (or newer) radio to find what works best.
