I had the same problem with one cooked ROM.
I changed it and now my cam. is working.
I hope u don't like that rom very much... because I don't know any other solution^^ Maybe someone else does?!
I tried everything... reflashing rom, radio, hardspl... nothing... when i start the camera a blank screen comes up and when i try to take a picture it says: "Unable to capture photo. Unable to get frame data from camera device."
I didn't reflash the ROM but flashed another one...
I had the problem that when I took a photo the cam hang up and I had to quit it. The result was a complete black photo everytime.
So I flashed another ROM. Maybe u should try that too

what you 've tried with remove your SD card from the phone and then try taking photos ??
if it works means that the file or FAT has got corrupted on the SD card

Hey guys,
I tried to upgrade to a cooked rom on my trinity last night but any rom I used would not start up once the upgrade completed. The phone would boot passed the splash screen to a white screen and make a sound but no image would ever appear onscreen.
I eventually managed to get it to boot using Bepe's trinity rom but now my phone is slow and fails to open any form of picture format, be it jpeg, gif etc. just get error "unable to open file", is there someone am missing.
Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it in the past.
Any help would be appreciated greatly, cant think of much more to try

I suggest that you flash an un-cooked ROM and then try again.

Its working now - keeping my fingers crossed... it obviously wasn't bricked... i don't know what happened but all i did was flash the radio to what it came with 1.00.25.05 and voila!
guys i need help... i think my diamond is bricked - maybe someone here could tell me if it really has or is there a way out.
the first screen appears the touch diamond screen, and then the windows screen (the green one) and then it restarts... and this is what keeps on happening...
any idea? any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried a HARD reset?

Maybe the ROM is corrupted on yuor phone. Try getting to bootloader and flashing again.

i got into the bootloader - connected it to the USB - shows USB on the bottom... how do i flash a rom then? CustomRUU? or is there a way to place the nbh on the internal storage?
There's No way to place it on the internal storage if you cant get into Windows. This is why I always keep a copy of my current ROM in the Internal Storage, so i can reflash if I need to.
Try doing it over USB, it should still work.

tried a couple of times... restarts... either at 10% or 12% or 23%... tried rebuilding the nbh as well

if its under warrenty, flash original ROM, Radio and SPL then send it back as faulty

hey thanks man - you gave me the idea of going back to originals... i only went back to original radio and it's working
your phone probably didn't like that particular hard-SPL version.
Hi. I flashed several different roms and still the same problem. Everything works perfectly until after a few hours when I try to open a program (irrespective where its installed i.e storage card/internal) it says "The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found", then as soon as I soft reset, phone freezes at boot screen. Have to perform hard reset and the same thing happpens all over again. I have removed micro SD and still having same problem. Please somebody help!

Yes please read
maybe try to do
1. hard SPL again
2. flash stock ROM
3. flash radio
4. flash custom ROM
these procedure seems to fix a lot of weird problems for people on the forum
I personally tried Valkyrie 5.7 build 24001, very very stable.
Now I am on 5.8 build 23534, got SOD sometimes

Hello. Yesterday morning when i woke up suddenly my touch screen did not respond any more. I try reinstalling windows or hard reset but now i can not even get over tap the screen.Please help me. You already helped me once when i was going to throw it away because i thought it's a hardware problem and it was a software one.I did the soft reset and leave it for a day then it worked but when i wanted to charge, it happened again and i have the same problem now.Any way a thing it's certain it is a software problem.If you have other advice please help.

I tried installing lots of roms hoping it will be fine. but now i installed a 6.1 version of wm and when i try installing wm 6.5 it stopes in loading screen and the pc gives me an error conection.What about this?
Moved as not ROM Development.
Place a welcome.not file on root of storage card can be a .txt file but change the extension doesn't want to be welcome.not.txt this will get you past all the configs on setup.

I did as you said and it worked but that was not the problem.The problem is my touch screen not responding.And it's not a hardware problem because if i did as i have been told to fully charge the phone, then do a soft reset and leave it for a day it was as new.But when i try to charge it again i got the same not responding screen. Now after all this i have another issue and that is when i try doing a soft reset the phone resets and it sopped on gray screen with Loading... and the pc gives me error connection. So i get this only i put a 6.1wm. Is this the reason for not letting me change the wm to 6.5 one? i will go crazy with these strange things that are science but have no explanation. Where is the science then? What you did was to allow me to use the phone without touch screen. Well...thank you, but i know there is a way to get the phone normal again and that is what i need you to help me with. Thank you. Catalin
Are you Hard-SPL'd?
Regards problem if software then flashing a different ROM even stock should be able to tell you, i know you think not hardware but if repetitive then maybe you just fluked the being ok again.
Anyway flash another stock ROM, then if fine flash a 6.5, you don't have to use computer as can flash via SD.

it seems my touch diamond is broken!
the phone in wake up hangs and just show me the htc logo!
after hard reset the phone just show me "touch here to launch touch flo" and nothing else!
and when i tap there,nothing runs!
and after 2 or 3 minutes its show me the tourial video for how to use device and after many second the video paused and nothing works!
i dident hspl or flashing any rom on my phone so far and now i can do nothing to fix it!
active synce was not connect because the phone goes to video and dident let it!
i cant flash any rom even from internal memory because the device was not hspled!
can any one help me?

i told i dont flash any custom rom and any hspl so far!
my device have a official rom!
it hangs on htc logo in first boot at first
and make me to do hard reset
after hard reset,
the device boots succecfully
but nothing works!
i have no touch flo and the text was shown that click here to launch touch flo
but when i tab there nothing was happend!
after 2 minuts the device show the tourial video for how to use by itself and pause after many seconds!
and i cant do any thing!

Take it to sprint or where ever you got it.. if you want to try and fix it yourself you will have to hspl and flash a new rom. You can probably find the original rom somewhere but I would try to upgrade it if you go to the trouble to unlock it. Perhaps www.ppcgeeks.com has more active users..

If you haven't flashed any custom ROMs or used any third party YouTube applications, why are you so concerned about "the device show the tourial video for how to use"?

his best option is to flash a stock rom.
that should fix it.
if it doesn't fix it and he has warranty take it in.
if it does fix it than..and only than can he HSPL the phone for custom roms.

it sounds to me like he has a corrupted rom or failed memory addresses in the phone.
the freeze followed by a no boot tells me something failed (hardware or software).
hard reset allowed for reboot, but not properly, indicating data corruption.
if reflashing stock corrects it (software corruption) than all is well.
if not (ROM or RAM failure) than phone needs replacement.
the diamond and pro run very hot, and are prone to hardware failure, causing odd behavior.
