WLAN with Himalaya and WM6? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Windows Mobile 6 Upgrading

After upgrading my MDA2 (himalaya) with WM6.1 german, i have problems with my WLAN.
I installed my spectec WLAN driver for WM6, but nothing happens when i insert my WLAN card. The driver was installed well, but there is no reaktion or possibility to aktivate WLAN.
With WM 2003SE all is oK, -> spectec WLAN card is testet with WM2003!
If anyone has similar problems or solutions please post an answer.
Thanks
Eckhard

ActiveSync USB connection problems

After upgrading an i-Mate PDA2K (PH20B 0 B WWE E CDL__001 1.40.00 0 0 1.12.00 12.00) to WM5 BA TuMa v1.3 Release, ActiveSync via USB does not connect successfully.
Have tried all of the following without success:
- hard reset PDA;
- re-flash PDA, tried over 8 different WM5 ROM (including Logout, ArtZ, Ivan) all with the same problem;
- deleted all previous partnerships;
- Windows SP2 firewall disabled;
- set remote-NDIS host to use server-assigned IP address;
- reset IP on host computer (i.e. netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt);
- uninstall/reinstallation of ActiveSync 4.1;
- uninstall/reinstallation of ActiveSync 4.2 beta;
- uninstall/reinstalled USB controller drivers;
This problem was experienced on two separate computers, none of which are running any software that modify the standard windows networking software.
When placed in cradle, ActiveSync on device reports that device is connecting, but, eventually fails with support code: 0x85020010.
Interestingly, when device is restored back to original shipped WM2K3SE ROM (PDA2k_WWE_14000_176_11200.exe), ActiveSync can connect successfully again via USB.
Any other suggestions to get ActiveSync via USB working under WM5?
Also, is it normal that once a BA has been upgraded to WM5, that you can no longer use BaUpgradeUt.exe and must always use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe for future flashing? I lost the ability to use BaUpgradeUt.exe after the first upgrade.
Solution Found
Oops!
I forgot about the Firewall Client of Microsoft ISA Server 2004! Although it was disabled, it still must have been interfering with ActiveSync.
Uninstalling this ISA Firewall client software and restarting ActiveSync solved the problem.

O2 XDA-2i Original CD-ROM disk - Can't install

When I try to install original XDA2i software on my PCs (running both Win XP Pro SP2 and Win 2003 Server Ent.) - AppSuite O2 WWE v1.0.0.4.exe, it prompts that 'In order to complete your installation please perform soft reset of your XDA2i device'.
Actual seoft reset doen net change anything and installation routine just quits and that's it. And it does not matter whether XDA2i is on the cradle or not, result is the same.
Do I do something wrong?
Is there any other alternative driver source to enable XDA2i interface on Win XP system?

Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3[1].5_v1.4.CF2.R2 WiFi Security -> WPA encryption

Hi,
I'm trying to enable my BA (Helmi/Baniaczek R2) to use WPA encryption with my Netgear router.
Can this be curently enabled? If not, is there someone (Baniaczek?) who could add suppot for WPA (and replace WEP) in this ROM?
Thanks
DEVICE: BA (Orange SPV M2000)
ROM: Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3[1].5_v1.4.CF2.R2
RADIO: 1.15.00
With my router, Netgear DG834GT, BA works well with WPA protection enabled.
Great. Thanks. I set it up and all works perfectly.
I get the same problem i cant connect with any security on
isnt there any other software to conntect rather can using the windows software
Did you check that the shared key is exactly the same? Some apps need the hex version of the key, so try that.
If you do not connect all then this could be an access list problem (based on the MAC address of your PDA). Check this.
If yu provide more info about the problem it will help...

BA new BT stack

I have read about Broadcom/Widcomm BT stack, and I think it is better than ordinary MS BT stack it even controls wi-fi net card. MS installing their stupid BT stack in every WM5/6 firmware. So.. so.. so! Is there any firmware WM6 for BA with Widcomm BT stack? Or how to install it? I have tried, but it is not working
RE: BT Stack
I am not aware of any way but you could try a seperate BT upgrade using one of the files on this link
http://rapidshare.com/files/130477547/Various_XDA_2s_Tools_etc.rar
If I'm installing broadcom update from FTP, it is showing me error: "The BT radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory availiable..." I think it is due to MS BT Stack installed in a default WWE firmware... Or I'm wrong?
I mean I nead a firmware with widcomm BT stak build-in...
I am using this rom. Windowsmobile 6.1
OS 5.2.20226 (Build 20226.1.3.0 PV DVH) Diamond (01) 24MB PP
I tried to install broadcom 1.7, but it dosen`t work.
"The BT radio failed to turn ON due to insufficient driver memory availiable.....
Any solution with this problem? or sell this O2 XDA IIs.
hello !
