Orange SPV m3000 French ROM...

I have uploaded the extended rom. I also have the complete rom but it is an image of a 1Gb SDcard :?

Yep...it's the typical 40-50 MB. I will attempt to post it this evening and will add a link here.
BTW, you can use itsutil to extract the correct sized image from your sd. I will also find the link (to the instructions) and post it for you this evening.

BTW make sure you backup your extended_ROM2 as the flash will likely replace your files with the Swiss french Extended_ROM2 files.

Try to redownload the file. If it still does not work I will put a recovery tool on the site so you can repair it.

edit: I have uploaded quickpar and 10% revocery files. Install quickpar and run one of the quick recovery files to repair the Orange SPV archive.

i got just one question...
is it possible to flash the WM6 OS to the MDA 3 ???
or is it just possible to update my Windows Mobile 2003 Second Editon ???

in theory it is possile, but in practice it is not because we do not have WM6 rom for it (answer for your next question, no it can not be ported)

Easy solution: just run BaUpgradeUt_NoID.exe in folder U've got!
Other easy solutions: try this rom.
Hard solution:
Get SetOperator.bat, xda3nbftool.exe and GetDeviceData.exe from xplode rom arh. Then copy GetDeviceData.exe to ur pda and run it, find DeviceData.txt file in windows folder on pda(\Windows\DeviceData.txt) open it with notepad, U'll get something like this "PH20B 0 B GER R T-MOB101 1.12.00 0 0 1.12.100 1.02.00 02.00" where "T-MOB101" is ur operator code. Copy SetOperator.bat & xda3nbftool.exe near nk.nbf and run SetOperator.bat with operator code as parameter(example: "D:\roms\baniaczek_v2\SetOperator.bat T-MOB101")
Now U can flash ur device just run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe

I'm Italian, and I wanto to install a Italian Rom.
I have downloaded it, but I cannot install it, becouse language is different and setup doesn't go on.
There is a solution??

I found you on google and saw your web site .. and reading so much of your posts ..
You are the expert here with IME.
I am having a problem for my Benq P51 that using WM6 JPN. I can't understand it because it is in Japanese. I try to work on it by changing it back to English or Thai but no hope.
Can I use your korechithai ?? or Do I have to do something as the above post ??
Please guide me !!
PS... I just installed your korechithai and it works !! i can read Thai now but .. everywhere is still in japanese .. such as, contact button, name of some programs, .. etc

i tried to cahnge language from spanish to english , update stopped at 0.1%, i disconnected after few hours and after that my ipaq is dead , i cant do nothing, its not recocnized by active sync, i tried hard reset but it dosen't show nothing, exept light shows that is charging , screen is empty all the time , if anybody had same problem please help me

The bootloader was dead, there is almost nothing you can do (unless you know how to JTAG the 6515... or take out the ROM, reprogram and solder it back)...

watchsat might not be right i have read other posts that this error at 0.1% is due to radio rom not being compatable and freezing there. no idea what the solutoion to this is but i know that if you dump radio.nbf it will continue pat 0.1% but you will have no radio
dont read much chinese but go over to www.pxdxa.com and search for error there as well.

i also got same problem with you a long time ago.
then i had brought it to Hp service center.
i said to them " suddenly it never boot any more,,"
they replaced it with new one after few days.
(in my case, it was free of charge,but i dont think you also free)
pls try this, if you have little bit of luck, you can get new one

you can tweak registry in those valu with registry editor,

could it be posible to flash only OS and EXTROM to avoid radio bricking?

German Wm6 Kitchen

Finally I succeeded in building a German WM6-ROM for my MDA2. Here is the instruction.
( -> means backslash )
1 - Download and extract all the needed Files:

2 - Modify the Tofclock Hima WM6 Aku.0.7.0 Kitchen

Search and replace all files from the directory "files (search and replace)" into Helmis kitchen.
You will find them in SYS, OEM and subdirectories.
Replace the files "initflashfiles.txt" from the directory "initflashfiles" into the specified directories.
Put the registry-files from the directory "registry" into:
1bc57b2f-c0f3-46c6-8c2a-257952317eac.rgu >> "OEM -> OEM_Lang_0409"
fbfe1426-7068-4259-924b-9c3582ec2c9d.rgu >> "OEM -> OEM_NetworkWizard"
3 - Modify all files "initflashfiles.TXT" of your used OEM Packages

replace "Windows -> Startup" with "Windows -> Autostart"
replace "Windows -> Startmenu -> Programs" with "Windows -> Startmenü -> Programme"
!!! Now the kitchen is prepared to build your own favorite german WM6. !!!
4 - Build and flash your own ROM using "BuildOS.exe" and "CreateROM.bat"

!!! The Welcome procedure will appear twice. Thats a known Problem. Dont mind. I dont find any solution. !!!
6 - Last steps

Delete "welcome.lnk" from directory "windows -> autostart".
Goto "Start-Einstellungen-Sytem-Ländereinstellungen" and select Deutsch (Deutschland).
Goto "Start-Einstellungen-Verbindungen-NetworkWizard" and select your Phone-provider.
Install "German Input for WM6 by ZakMcRofl.cab" from directory "german keyboard".
Now you have a german WM6-Device (99%).
My own MDA2 works perfect, but I dont use and test Office, Transcriber and IExplorer.

SYS->Office_Lang_0409
OEM->OEM_Lang_0409 (very important Files)
OEM->OEM_SAP

What we do to get our German ROM is
- take an English ROM
- get the German Files from any other German WM6
- rename these German Files into ...409.mui
- now build our translated ROM
The Basis leaves an English ROM and Regional settings leave English as default.

I'm sorry, but i don't have a version for 6.1. The reason is, that I don't have any german 6.1 Rom from any other Device to extract the needed german files.

[Q] Problem with language pack.

1. I downloaded and installed ROM from sunnysoft - Diamond_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_2.03.479.2
2. I downloaded and installed language localization from sunnysoft - InterWrite_WWE_EastEurope_2.03.479.2
3. HR
4. After customization some CAB's are instaling but I am not able to install all CAB's.
Installation hangs out on CAB called "HTC_Diamond_5in1_EEU_2_03_VC...", that is language pack, this is also last CAB on the list. If i SR everything is ok, but im still have ENG version.
I tried many times with the same result. I want PL version anyone can help me solve it?
I also know many ppl form Poland and Czech notice the same problem...

I figured out something.
I unpacked InterWrite_WWE_EastEurope_2.03.479.2
There was a file called ExtendedPKG.cab.pkg i changed extension to CAB
Then i unzipped file.
I can't post pics im new user :

I coped both CAB files. First one was install sucessful, second didn't - message pop up "Unable to install aplication. Please update your ROM device to required version before trying again"
But this is correct language pack for ROM version.
