ROM Update not stored (after splxploit)

Hi,
My Trinity (s300+) stops working yesterday night : it was buggy, so I decided to do a soft reset, but then after it starts I get the splash screen for 1 second and it turns off. I tried a hard reset but nothing change.
I tried "splxploit" in order to have a HardSPL installed and then to flash a ROM through a SD but the problem is that the update looks OK but is not stored in the phone:
- when I entered the bootloader I had :
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
- after running "splxploit" I had on the screen:
TRIN100
IPL-USPL
TRIN100
SPL-1.20.Olipro
- after doing a soft reset and reentering the bootloader I have again:
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
Is there something wrong with what I am trying to do, or should I start considering that it may be now a brick ?
Thank you for your help,
Mika

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, my problem is that I cannot run a program on my Trinity since I cannot start it anymore (I just got the splashscreen, and it turns off).
I can also start with the bootloader mode and this is why I tried the 'splxploit' .
Hope there is still something to do to heal it

Hope this will help ur device wake up again.
1.)RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_3.00.707.18_6275_1.46.30 .11_108_Ship.exe
Down load this and extr it,u can see few files and look for the file name RUU.xxx.NBH file, and just rename it as TRINIMG.nbh
2.)now you must use Mini SD,format it to FAT 32,with no Volume Label(go to folder right hand click and format it to FAT 32 at FAT colum, after that erase the volume label etc "KINGston"farmat card.
3.)copy file TRINIMG.nbh to your Mini SD Card, now ur screen blank right?slot in MiniSD,now boot from card, you will see "loading"follow by "checking" then it will prot out some like Boot file checking at you screen, press power botton to start boot from card, plug in your cable before start, wait for completed, soft reset you device, now ur device wake up again.
*** if want to boot win 6.1 new Rom,now you can follow previouse format that I already sended to you,any problem please reply to my mail please.Mika
I like to see ur device wake up again.

Thank you again Eddie,
There was no file attached to your message.
I tried anyway with another ROM package, rename the nbh file to TRINIMG.nbh, copy it to an SD card formatted FAT with no label. I start the bootloader "Camera Button" + "Power button" + "Reset" button, but only get:
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
Serial
Nothing about "loading" or "checking" ... :-/
When you said "boot from card" in your message, did you mean entering the bootloader as I did ?
Thank you for your help,
Mika

Hi,Mika that I found that you format to FAT(Should format to FAT 32)just at the colume of FAT click down the arrow to select FAT 32 when u right hand click and look for format, and here is the Asia Original Rom I found
http://rapidshare.com/files/46816571...1_108_Ship.exe
Extract RUU.Signed.nbh rom file and rename it to TRINIMG.nbh, copy to Mini SD Card (Your Mini SD Card can not have any file in there,Except TRINIMG.nbh file only),on bootloader, plug in Charger and slot in ur card, screen will show u previousely what I'am show u press power/on-off botton and start untill step by step completed
Keep trying Mika
Good Luck

Problem with flashing a new ROM

I’ve a problem with the ROMUpdateUtility.exe, when I follow these instructions:
-Enter bootloader (rainbowscreen)
-Connect to pc (activesync)
-Run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow onscreen instructions
After the process bar appears on the screen of my pc, it also appears on my x1, but it stuck on 0%
And after that appears on the RUU.exe the Error message [262] Update Error .
I`m very frustrated, because I tried it all day, but it doesn't work.
Maybe you can help me………

Hardspl,

got the same problem, allready got hard-spl but allwways get error 262. only when i flash with an original rom it works. with a custom rom allways error 262. flashing a custom rom with the sd card method also doesnt work. anyone got any ideas how to solve this?
- Download and install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
- If you are using Vista, install the Mobile Device Center 6.1
- Set up the ActiveSync (XP) / Mobile Device Center (Vista) connection with your X1
- Charge the battery to at least 50% or more
- (Re)Connect the X1
- Run X1_HardSPL.exe
- Follow the instructions (it should say something like "Image Version: 1.02.111.7" to "1.00.X1")
- If asked, press "Yes" on the X1
- Now a 4-color screen should show up, showing some version Info
- After that, a progressbar screen will be shown and the phone will reboot when finished
- Click "Finish" on the PC
- If you want to check if everything went fine, turn the device off (long power button press), then hold the "volume down" button and turn the device on again, still holding the "volume down" button until the 4-color screen shows up. It should read something like:
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.OliNex
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707
- Remove and reinsert the battery to exit bootloader mode

if this is what your bootloader is saying the device is NOT hardspl'd and needs to be in order to flash a custom rom as per the link I posted.
As posted above your bootloader should look similar to this:
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.OliNex
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707

Hard-SPL is needed and Nothing else ,Power Off, Hold Volume Down and Power Key for a while, then it comes to the Rom Flash Screen, If you find words of first line is Oilnex, that is to say your device is already unlocked spl, then help yourself with Flash rom , Does not need any tools to check it ,Good Luck With It
