Uninstalling Hard SPL on Xperia - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

There are no instructions on uninstalling hard spl on xperia anyway. All the ROMs I've tried seem to have some sort of glitch.
How do I revert back to my original ROM?

no need to revert Hard SPL to stock SPL just to get a stock ROM:
you can flash any stock ROM with Hard-SPL too
but it you badly need the stock SPL back, just flash it
Check the sticky threads, stock SPL is on the Hard-SPL thread, and there's even a video tutorial !!!

Easy... download stock spl which is found in hard spl topic... obviously you skimmed the topic instead of reading it.
Then, click on hard spl exe, now drag the stock spl's .nbh file into the hard spl folder. This will ask you to replace the .nbh file. Click yes, now flash your SPL.
When it finishes flashing into stock spl, reset the phone. Done.

Thanks Guys. I figured it out. Not gonna be flashing for a while.

Is there a way to remove Hard-SPL?

Just like it says in the title above, is there a way to remove hard-spl with another SPL maybe stock SPL?
Herald 100
IPL 4.17.0002
SPL 4.70.Yang
Boots ok inside WM6
If I remember correctly, you should be able to flash the stock herald rom as is and it will overwrite the hard spl. I may not be 100% correct, but that's what I would look into first.
A quick search of the forum brought up this. Try and use the search before you post unnecessarily.

How to flash an extracted SPL?

Hey Guys,
sorry, I´m searching the whole time after how to flash just an spl, for an extracting I used the NBH util.
My plan:
1) I want to flash my O2 branded Diamond, without flashing a hardSPL.
2) As I understood, it´s possible just to extract an SPL from the newest HTC rom, and flashing this with DiamondCustomRUU in the first step.
3) After this I should have the possibility to flash a full HTC Rom?
Are there any misunderstandings? because I can´t flash the extracted SPL with DiamondCustomRUU.exe.
What did I wrong, and what should I do?
Cheers, Chris
No one any idea???????????????????????
it might be possible to do this!
but you have to be careful not to get device ID/version different on both the OS or the SPL!
but why not just put hard spl and then revert back to stock SPL when you want to at a later stage! all versions of the stock SPL are availble on the rom developement forum

how to reflash the original spl

i had flash the hard-slp
but i want to reflash the original spl
what can i do?
Read the wiki and other threads on this matter.
Try reading rules before posting
EDIT
I was a little hasty and harsh.
Try
1. Flash a signed HTC rom based on 1.14 SPL
2. Flash back stock 1.14 SPL

[Q] Can't Install New SPL

Hi all,
I really wanted to try out the latest Hero build. So I began the procedure, first by flashing the radio, then the SPL. The radio update went fine. I also installed the new SPL (no errors whatsoever), but when I checked to see whether I had the correct version, it displayed HSPL10.95.3000 (I had installed a HardSPL before). I reapplied Haykuro's SPL update, and still no change. How can I remove the HardSPL, and is it okay to continue the Hero install with my version? I don't want to brick my phone (obviously) and I'm quite a newbie.
You cannot "remove" the SPL. it can only be overwritten by the Haykuro SPL. I suggest re-downloading the Haykuro SPL and flashing it again. Do not flash a hero rom with the SPL that you currently have.
Thanks for the reply. I tried overwriting it again with Haykuro's SPL, but it didn't work. On this website, I found that
The second type of HardSPL is truly HARD...They bypass the vendor checks on ROMs, allowing you to load any ROM onto your device. This is a necessity if you want to run a cooked ROM. They disable overwrite of the current SPL. This is why I say they are truly HARD. So, even if your ROM comes with a new SPL, it won't overwrite your HardSPL.

So, is there a way to remove HardSPL? I've been looking for info on this for hours and found nothing.

Well if you remove HardSPL what SPL will you have for that like 5 minutes or so? Try flashing to Engineering SPL first and then flash Haykuro's Special SPL

first of all let's check what spl you have right now!!!
with phone off hold volume down key while powering on the phone this should bring you to the bootloader screen (tri-color screen) check to see what spl you have & post it here then we will go from there
or you could try this instead
how to reflash Stock/Shipped SPL - STEP BY STEP - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!
0. please make sure you already flashed stock ROM and radio, because stock SPL flash is *always* the last step before sending the device in.
1. download the Relocker attachment, extract the zip and run the EXE on your PC
2. if you wish to replace RUU_Signed.NBH that got extracted, feel free to do so, but not necessary (this Hard-SPL will only allow overwrite with a SPL signed by our custom cert). the included one is the 0.79.0000 stock SPL. you also have the option for 0.84.0000 and 0.87.0000, see the attachments.
3. flash
4. verify if it flashed by checking version in tricolour screen, it should say 0.79.0000 (or 0.84.0000 or 0.87.0000), not 0.85.OliNex.
