My Kaiser is having a few problems, so I need ti send it back to repair, but the warranty wont cover it unless I restore the stock SPL wich came with the phone, the 3.28. Can anyone provide me with that? I've searched the forum, but I couldn't find it.

Ive put a hard SPL on, unlocked it, and put dutty's rom on.
After many months of it working fine, the backlight has decided to never turn off and the hardware buttons no longer work.
I need to send the phone back but im worried that they will reject it if they find out that ive messed with the rom.
How can i return it to standard so i can send it off - spl etc that is, because im ok with the rom, i can just use HTC's offical one.
Or, on the flip side, does anyone reckon they wont check? - im with orange UK.

hi m8 you will need the ruu.signed stocksigned hard spl- not 100% sure but i think you have to hard reset afterwards.

the stocksigned i posted is 135 but your better off following omaga and the link he has posted cos you will need custom rru and you`ll find all the stuff you need in the link
I have my self used this guide when I put my Diamond back in orginal shape, so its works. Put/find your org 1.93 rom first flash it in your phone and then flash the 1.93spl signed. Worked for me!

Got my new one now, so the fun starts again!
I bought my wifes X1i from Newegg in January and she finally decided that the cracks in the case are enough and she wants it reapired. I set up RMA with Newegg and they gave me authorization and shipping lable and all that jazz.
I need to get this phone back to the state I got it. Well as close as possible. I currently have it HardSPL'd and am runnning WM6.5. Does anyone have any advise on what rom to load back on this and can I actually remove the HardSPL?

check this thread there's a procedure in reverting back to the stock spl. just follow the procedure or pm olinex for guidance.

I think I already screwed up I flashed the StockSPL. But I didn't think about the rest of the rom. I can still access the TriColor screen so its not bricked but I have no idea what to do at this point.
I think I can still HardSPL and do it according to the instructions but I need to get a signed NA Rom to get this thing back to good.
Ok this is just wild. I have the StockSPL and EnergyROM WM6.5. Hopefully I can get it to sync and throw a stock rom on it.

I just didn't have enough patience and wait for the OS to load. After it loaded I installed HardSPL again then flashed the Stock Rom/Radio. Then installed the StockSPL. My wifes Xperia is on its way back to get some loving or replaced.

I've read it before, but. I wonder about this;
If I installed a different stockspl from orjinal stockspl, do problems occur?
So do HTC Service hold the original SPL version record.

I have had my xperia for six months now. But suddenly three weeks ago my microphone didn´t work anymore. So I went to the T/mobile shop and they sended it to a repairshop. I got it back a week later and they told me it was a total loss. The original Rom was no longer installed on the phone. I used an update from sony ericsson (found on this site). So they didn't repair it. I took the phone back home and put in my sim. The phone didn't have any reach (excuse me for my english). It did when I got in to the shop, so they did something at the repairshop. So I went back and they sended it back the repairshop with an explanation what happened. And I got it back today and what do you think happened? Indeed, no repair no original software. I got P&#%*ssed and went away.
Does anyone have a clue what these problems can be? Is it a software problem? and can I solve it myself?

Hi, i think they didn't fix it it because you must of done a Hard SPL to put a ROM on your X1 from this site. You will need to load the original Rom that came with your phone, and then put the Stock SPL back on your phone.
The links below should help-
Hard SPL to Stock SPL
Within the file that you download, there will be instructions on how to put a hard SPL/ Stock SPL on your X1. Scroll down in the manual and it will tell you how to load the Stock SPL back to your phone.
You will read within the manual that you will need to put the original ROM back on your phone, (the one that was on there the first day you had it).
Information on which ROM is for you can be found here: Original ROMS
You will need to flash a ROM from the "R1A (INITIAL) firmwares" section on to your phone. This needs to be done BEFORE you flash the Stock SPL.
If you get stuck the answers will be in the original post(the links above)

Hi i wanted to send my phone for warranty so i restored stock SPL. i didnt en dup sending it and replaced parts myself which worked out cheap and went well. i now want to Hard Spl my x1 again but it keeps giving me errors. I have read that u cant Hard SPL the device once the stock SPL has been replaced. Is this true? And can anyone get around this? cos im missing out on some great roms and the only thing i can do atm is use stock rom and add stuff like x2 panel manager etc

is this true? I was just going to restore stock-spl because I´m sending my X1 in for warranty reasons. But now I´m not so sure I want to do that...
its not true, you can hard-spl as many times as you want!
