Update Rom Failed

Hi,
I have a problem with my Wizard, my rom update failed because the pc reboots in the middle of the installation and now only the Red Green Blue screen appear with three things, IPL 2.17, SPL 2.17 and in the right top corner RUU.
I can't enter in the bootloader (pressing the camera button and turn on)
What can i do to fix this and update a new ROM?

....... while on that screen plug in the usb cable and re-run the update utility.... Since the RBG screen is the bootloader...

I tried to do it, but i get ERROR[300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL in the PDA Phone ROM Update Utility 2.00.1

Normally, you can only flash an official rom to restore from the point you are at. Once the bootloader is the only thing that comes up, a custom rom will not do the trick.
Once you have the official rom installed, you can then "cross-grade" to a custom rom.

Ok, so using some Italian version is working for me. RUU is the same as the pda phone updater tool right? But something is still going wrong. It says I now have OS 2.26.10.2, which is the molski rom I've been trying to get on here, but neither the ipl or spl change, and the same cingular settings keep loading.
Man this is confusing me.
I have paid to unlock my g4, and I still can't get it to work the way I want it.

Installation stops when I reach 85%

I have tried to update my ROM on my QTEK 9100 to version 2.17.17. When I reach 85%, it stops and gives me an error message 326.
Any help would be EXTREAMLY appreciate!

These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code.

Send it back for repair or flash a new ROM?

I've never encountered this error myself so I really doesn't understand exactly what it means... I would however try to reflash several other roms before sending it to a service center...
oh, can you get to bootloader mode by any chance? (pressing the two buttons on the right side and resetting the device). From there you should be able to flash a new rom.

I had the same problem... 95% and the Invalid command error. I was flashing the original Tmobile UK ROM. Now trying to flash another ones..

Try unlocking again if you did before.

Cant Update P4350 With Official Wm6

Ive downloaded official wm6 sve rom from HTC website. My herlald is stuck on bootloader ipl 1.08 spl 1.08. When i connect to computer usb is shown on the screen bottom ,but when i try to flash the rom ,error 300 invalid update tool is shown.
how can i fix this??
Official rom matching my p4350 is supposed to work,but it doesnt.
please help!!!

I recently had a similar problem as you, what I did was to:
- remove the battery for 5-10secs
- put the battery back
- press and hold the camera button (do not release it)
- press the power on button ( the one at the top of the phone, used for the soft resets)
- The phone will display three different colors and "IPL ...."
- Connect your phone via the USB cable to the computer, Windows XP detects that as a new hardware and installs the USB drivers for it. Pockect PC ...., just accept the driver installation when it warns you that the driver is not signed.
- Past all of that you should now be ready to use the Official ROM file from HTC, run the file, and go through the steps. It should start the ROM upgrade.
Well I hope it helps you as these steps did bring my phone back after a failed ROM upgrade.

Is your phone CID locked?
Because if so, you have to go to your phone provider and see if they have their own official rom!

I Dont Understand ,if Htc E-club Recognises My Serial Number,and Gives Me The Possibility To Download Sve Rom ,doesnt That Mean That I Should Be Able To Flash That Rom Into The Bricked Herald?

Yes same i also have same problem i get Norway rom from my serial number but giving me invalid update tool

i asked the costumer,the herald was cid unlocked when he bougt it,he flashed succesfully pdaviet ,then he wanted to flash wm6 but after uspl the p435o went into bootloader mode,ive been trying with many flashes with no result,please help!!

I had the same problem, and i did the download again. and it worked. try to download the upgrade again and dont forget to take of the memory card of the device.

then i try by another rom used this

update hang then need recovery i start recover back to start first step also hang
i back by first rom agin ...start 1% phone disconnect from pc then back connect

Hard for us since this is not the forum for your phone. I believe your's is called the Herald? They should be able to provide you a rom that you can update with

Like a fish in his own water.
What you have is a Herald.
Go to this.
And don't come back before buying a wings, or you have something to report or ask about the wings.

pls help me my problem with htc p3600

Hi, i've bough a p3600 on ebay.
The seller tell me the phone is out because he flash a bad radio version on the phone.
I try to upgrade some file. ( Rom OS, Radio, SPL,etc ...)
I try the splexploit...
BUT ... The phone already stay on startup. i can see HTC startup screen,the windows startup screen ...but never the today screen.
I try hard reset, htc official rom, cookeed rom,...but when i flash a rom with "gsm", the update freeze at 13%
I try with usb and with sdcard..same thing, already stay at 13% !
But if i flash hard spl, 100%, if i flash OS, 100%, just the radio freeze at 13%
Any idea please ?
