Go back to the thread where you got the radio only rom. You will find posts about the phones not charging. READ THEM...
You should always have a full charge on your battery before any flash operation.

MDA Vario dead after upgrading

My phone is MDA Vario (T-Mobile NL)I upgraded it with RUU_Prodigy_2170702_217_20710_TMO_US.exe from the ftp.
After upgrade I did a soft reset then my phone just looks like no power at all. I tried to hard reset but nothing works. Just like what Claus72's mentioned in his post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=56211
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
use it as a doorstop?
paper weight?
christmas present?
You accidentily flashed a G4 Vario with a G3 Rom I think.
So it's bricked for sure.
Sorry to say this....but you had to read better on this forum, then this would not happened.

PLEASE help on my Dopod 838

i recently bought a dopod 838. i used it for 2 months. it went smooth but now i have problems.
1. It would take me 4 minutes after Startup is finish( Sometimes i got stuck on the startup)
2. My computer cannot detect my device via USB for upgrade and activesync purpose even on bootloader mode. i cant reflash it.
3. My unit has a strange High Pitch System Music. like pop-up menus.. etc
4. Bluetooth cannot turn on
5. GSM feature is missing..(when i inserted my sim card NO SERVICE will appear on the status)
I did nothing, nothing at all nor crashed from a ROM upgrade. Im using IPL/STL 2.21. Hope you could help.

AT&T Tilt (Kaiser) USB Issue...

SOLVED: Hold power then plug USB cable. Suddenly my AT&T was detected by activesync, then I run ALL cool STUFF: HardSPL, SuperCID, and of course... SPANISH thanks XDA-Dev!!!!
Hello!!
Have a STRANGE, WEIRD issue:
A AT&T Tilt comes to me, user wants to switch Spanish language (its haves original AT&T rom).. So, bcoz theres not AT&T Tilt spanish rom (well, ive searched it but no luck) i was trying to flash it.
Plug the phone to USB. Ummm.. weird. phone is reporting "Charging" but activesync wont detect anything. So ive tried bootloader mode, but no luck. It says SERIAL text and not USB text...
who can help me???

Official Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade

Hi all,
I wanted to know if the update for the MDA Vario III ROM is correct on this site? if so has anyone downloaded the ROM update from this site and tried it out for themselves? {link is given below}
I would test it out for myself, but my PC has a million problems...so a lack of confidence and fear of third party window applications interference prevents me from testing it out :S but if someone has done this update, could please let me know if it is ok?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that you can just go to htc.com and get the proper update.
yeah that was my first step, but it's not for the MDA VARIO III...It's only for HTC TYTN II model...on the HTC site itself it requires you put in the S/N of the handset before you can download...done that and it says its not for the device MDA VARIO III :S
Thanks for the reply.
Contact your mobile operator for official updates...
But I've seen this page before. It is linked on t-mobile so it should be the correct page
