I have a Samsung Captivate ATT. Unlocked.
I am facing a problem with the Bluetooth. It is a kind of weird. I can receive the files sent from other phones but not able to send them to other phones.
Receiving is active but not able to send the data.
can someone please help.
I am having kinda the same issue. I can send files to some phones via bluetooth. However other phones it gives me an error saying device rejected connection. I was able to copy files to an old sony non android phone, and an incredible. But it failed on behold2, Droid and Droid2.
Has anyone else had problems with transferring files over bluetooth? And getting a device rejected error?

I'm sometimes having problems with dropped calls on this handset, regardless of the radio that I'm using, and even on the default ROM.
I also have a Nokia E71 that I use on the same network, and it does not have this problem at all.
It wasn't always like this since I first got the device. I feel that something is malfunctioning. Do you think SE would actually do a replacement of the device for a new one?
I can't have this sent in for repair, as I can't be without this phone for that long, but I'd be able to send it back once I receive a replacement. Has anyone else been able to be accommodated in this way by SE?
So what is the cause of this communication error? "Communication failed" unable to communicate with the AT&T
Those of us getting the error - have you made modifications to the stock software? flashed an i9000 rom? Please spill the beans! I am 1 hour away from calling the warranty department and getting a new phone - AT&T tech support says to call Samsung as it is a device issue, and Samsung is telling me to call AT&T. When does the hamster wheel end???
edit - replacement phone is on its way- I'm impatient. But would still like to know what your phone status is if you too are receiving this error.

There is a setting in Applications.
Ever since installing a Rom on my Vivid, I wasn't able to get any wifi without having a network to connect to. I've also been unable to send or receive multimedia messages.
I was told this had something to do with APNs, but I am clueless on the whole subject.
Anyone kind enough to help me resolve this?
edit: Never mind, I just selected a random APN and it worked ^^.
Okay, I came from Verizon and from a Galaxy S4, but I don't think Verizon or T-Mobile is the thing that's causing my problem
My problem... When I send a text message AT MY HOUSE AND ONLY AT MY HOUSE the message says fails to send, but the other person receives it cause they text back even though it says my message failed on my Note 4. I had this problem with the galaxy S4, on Verizon for 2 years and it's really frustrating cause sometimes messages fails and I don't resend cause i'm thinking the message went through.
I have full service with T-Mobile, so I doubt it is a service issue. Plus, I used old phones such as Blackberry and HTC, and this problem didn't occur. So i'm guessing it's just a problem with Samsung phones.
I have used alternated / 3rd party texting apps, and that didn't solve the issue.
Anyone experience or an expert at these things think they can give me a hand with this annoying issue?
Thanks!
Turn off wifi calling. If your router isn't compatible, or is just in a fussy mood it can cause this issue.

Homeland security trolling you.
I had this issue before too. I believe it has something to do with the signal tower in your area that is malfunctioned. If I was you, I'd call in the service carrier and ask to check if there is any issue with the signal tower in your area.
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Free mobile app
I have a Z3C on At&t network that was recently sent to Sony for repairs. While it was being repaired I had my number ported over to a windows phone, and Sony also updated me to 5.0 while they had it.
Now, whenever I send a text to a phone on ANOTHER carrier that has a .com in it, the text never gets delivered. I can send myself, and other At&t phones the same text and it goes through just fine. For example, I've been sending "testing airbnb.com" to several people. No one gets it unless they are on AT&T. I have tried the stock messaging app, and Textra and the results are the same. I'm inclined to think that something got messed up on the AT&T side when they reactivated my phone from the windows phone, but I don't know for sure.
Does anyone know of anything that can cause this problem?
thanks.
I'm looking for volunteers. If you have AT&T, try sending a text with airbnb.com or anything like that to someone you know who is on either t mobile or Verizon, then see if they got it. I've found two phones so far that it's not working. I know it USED to work.. I don't know if it's a carrier issue or lollipop issue yet.
